Dude's an asshole too. I loved it when Brian Billick blew kissas at him when he was disrespecting him. Made Harrison look like a little bitch.

Actually, it made Billick look childish. Billick is known for being a pompous, arrogant asshole himself. Great defensive coach, but his act has worn thin in Baltimore, only a matter of time until he's gone.
Why do you always try to start something in this thread? Your always posting some stupid shit about the Pats after everything you type. Please stop. Thanks.
Just put him in your ignore list and move on. Like I have.

dudes an offensive coach. Got way to much credit for that potent Vikings offense in Moss's rookie year. Marvin lewis built that Ravens D.

Then what the hell does he do? That Baltimore offense has been terrible since the day he got there.

He's getting fired, whether its this year or next. He's completely lost the room, Ray Lewis has apparently turned a lot of people against him.

It did make Harrison look like a little bitch though. I think if BB did anything other then what he did would have made him look childish.

As others have said before me, he doesn't coach defense.
The crappiest game of the week: Chiefs vs. Lions.

The NFL should hand out free beer to any fans that actually show up for that crapfest.
is calvin johnson hurt? i'd tune in to at least check him out
As others have said before me, he doesn't coach defense.
Then why mention it again after I've admitted my mistake?
Didn't realize 'Then what does he do?' = 'My bad.'
My dumb mistake in the first place, I just wasn't thinking.

Good move by Miami to bring in Parcells, he'll turn that ship around. 3/4ths of the coaches and GM's in the NFL are awful.

Atlanta should've offered him complete control while they had the chance, they only wanted Parcells as a consultant. That team is going to suck forever, not that anyone will notice since Atlanta is the worst sports town on the East coast.

Atlanta offered Parcells the exact same position as Miami did, with complete organizational control. He'd bring in a new GM, coach, etc.

I'm not sure where you got that info, but that's the word out of Atalanta.

8 minutes in, Vic Carucci breaks it down. Good stuff, and some interesting details.

"They weren't proposing the same deal that he got from Miami. What Atlanta was pitching to him was much more along the lines of a consulting gig."

He also suggests Jason Garrett and Maurice Carthon as possible coaches, plus Marty Schottenheimer, though Marty is likely going to Atlanta with Buddy Nix as the GM.

Your link doesn't work.

But, I can say that I don't think he's got the right info. From Parcells himself, he was going to be making the major decisions. It was also the exact same title. ESPN and AJC reported the exact same thing.

I gotta believe ESPN (where he leaked it) and the AJC on this one.
Blank's talks with Parcells evolved from an advisory role into a firm offer to rebuild his football operation, sources said.
I think that's where your guy is mistaken.

Link fixed. And if he discussed it with Phil Simms, and he concured, I'll take his word for it for the time being.

I'd expect the Atlanta camp to say that they offered him control, whether they did or not. Besides, Miami is in much better shape than Atlanta, Carucci outlines this as well.

OK, finally got to listen to that. As far as Simms go, I couldn't tell in that train wreck of a show when Simms talked to Parcells, etc.

ESPN reported it would be the same role, the AJC reported it to be the same role, and the AP reported it to be the same role. There's articles on NFL.com about he would have overseen the football operations, not consulted.

Sorry, that's way too many sources (including Chris Mortenson, who Parcells himself talked to) that contradict what this random dude is saying on a Boston radio show. I can't even find anything that he wrote on the subject on NFL.com.

Hey guys I some how got into the super bowl of my FF league.

What RB should I play?

I have.

L.Maroney
MJD
Brandon Jacobs
Ryan Grant.

As of right now I am leaning towards a Ryan Grant L.Maroney combo because even though NE is a pass first team I am sure that L.Maroney will break at least 100 yards with 1 or 2 TD. MJD has to split time with Fred Taylor and Brandon Jacobs....even though he does well most of the time, is limited due to the shitty offensive. I am sure the NJG will be down big and give up on the running game.

It's a tough call, seeing as certain teams with locks for playoff positions normally don't want to use their starters too much. I know Addai is only playing the first half if that this week. It's safe to say that Brandon Jacobs and Maurice-Jones Drew will play full games, but of course that doesn't mean you should start em'.

I just can't see Arthur Blank giving Parcells carte blanche the way Miami did.

Yet that's what he is doing. If he finds someone else with the experience Parcells has, he'll give him the keys to the franchise, too.

It may be a little hard to understand what kind of position Blank is in. He's losing tons of money right now. He has put his own money into rennovating the Dome, and it's empty. He was counting on Vick to keep the seats filled (because we have stupid people in Atlanta that cheer for you based on what color your skin is), and his ticket machine is in jail. He needs to make a big splash in some regard, and Parcells was going to be it.

Now what's going to happen? The concensus is to take a Matt Ryan with your 1st pick, but we haven't seen what DJ Shockley can do. He was impressive in the preseason. Harrington hasn't been that bad, either.

I say if for some reason McFadden is available when the Falcons pick, they take him. In this regard I hope the Falcons lose their last two, and the Jets and Rams win another game. That would give the Falcons the #2 pick, and it's assumed the Dolphins will take Glenn Dorsey.

My plan for the Falcons: Dump Leftwich. Resign Harrington to another year. Make DJ the #2 QB, draft McFadden. Trade Dunn if you can, maybe as a package to get another QB or some secondary help. Draft a quality WR in the 2nd, maybe a kid from Hawaii. Later rounds should be focused on future starters on the OL.

Damn I'm torn this week... As a Bears fan I always want to beat the Packers but at this point I would prefer we finish 5-11 so we can get the highest draft pick possible.

EDIT: LOL of course being in Kansas City the only game we have on is the Chiefs v. Lions crapfest. The league didn't even want to waste the high tech equipment. The game isn't being broadcast in HD.

This is a shitty week of football in my area. All I can watch is shit vs shit a la Lions vs Kansas city.

I really hope I made the right call with playing Ryan Grant and L.Maroney rather than MJD.

MJD already has a TD...but the Fins shouldnt be able to stop anything the Pats do so I am sure L.M will get off today.

Championship is on the line here.
Well at least you have cable at the moment.
Isnt your local Football team on a local channel?

I thought you didnt need to have cable to watch your home town team play?

Maybe I am mistaken.

I dont give a damn if the Packers lose today....but Ryan Grant had better get those god damn 3 yards back.

He already had 101 but then got stuffed in the back field. I need that 100 for my FF championship.

God damn KC.

You must of went to the madden school of play calling.

How many god damn time are you going to throw the same streak play down the sidelines.....only worked once. Can you try to not force it into triple coverage on Tony G for the 10th time in a row?

Parker should be cut after diving on the ground when they were trying to hook and ladder.

The pats better win huge today or I am going to be pissed.

upset on the way pats are looking well past todyas game hell cheerleaders probabbly could win todays game that is why I say dolphins come out and upset pats. personally hope not I want them to go to afc championship undefeated and watch the colts knock them out on way to superbowl
Why would you spike the ball in the red zone with 1:11 left in the half?
Cleo Lemon.

And ROFL at the Dolphins not scoring this drive!
wow looks like this year Greenbay cannot play in the cold...
