NFL 2007 Season Thread

The difference is the O-line, the Pats are being let down by theirs while the Giants o-line is fabulous.

Its not just the two backups on the right side, Matt Light has got to go. He can't handle speed rushers. If only the 49ers had continued losing, we could've had Jake Long on the left side and shifted Light to the right.

Damn that sack killed the drive. I'm afraid the Giants will be down 3 when they get the ball back. Then they will have to answer with a TD. A FG just won't be enough.
Another gift for the Pats. The play clock hits zero, they call time out, and instead of a penalty they the T.O. is granted.
Hell, I'm surprised they didn't throw a flag against New York for getting in the way of Brady's sight lines of the play clock.

Oops, first down and Manning pulled a "Grossman" fumbling the snap.

EDIT: Dammit Giants you had an extra shot at scoring and you went 3 and out!

Well it happened a drive later than expected but the Giants are now down by 3.

LATE HIT! THROW THE DAMN FLAG!!!!

EDIT: HOW THE HELL WAS THAT A PENALTY ON NY?

Oh and here we go again another BS penalty on the Giants!

What late hit? he knocked the guy out of bounds and didn't touch him after that.

My bad when I saw it in real time it looked like NE laid into him after he had stepped out. On the replay it looks like he was hit about a step before he went out.

EDIT: And there's the old reliable Eli Manning we've all come to love. Throwing the pick at a critical time. Game over man, game over!

That was a nice hold the NE line just got away with. #71 held just long enough to keep Brady from getting sacked.

The only thing the refs could've been discussing for that long was along the lines of this: "Do you think anybody will notice if we act like we didn't see this blatant late hit by the Pats?" And the Giants still ended up getting the ball near the 20. If you watch the replay you'll notice the Pats guy tripped as he was walking backwards trash talking :)

All in all, it won't matter as the Giants are doing their best to lose the game anyway.
There's the Manning interception. I was wondering when he was gonna throw it.
He was my single biggest fear coming into this game. It seems that in every big game he plays he chokes when he needs to step up the most (not unlike his older brother until last season).

The Giants have just blown me away. They practically rolled out the red carpet and said "nah, we don't wanna win this game".

Unfuckenbelievable.

There goes that asshole Harrison being the cock that he is!

Well I had a feeling Eli would blow it but I thought it would happen earlier in the game.

EDIT: Nice clock management Giants...

Impressive throw Eli. You almost launched that bad boy ten yards. If not for your last name you'd be an assistant coach at some high school, you jack-ass.

All I know is that the Patriots should be 13-3 right now, 13-4 counting this game, but all teams just gave it away at the end and that is what gives me a headache.

I don't understand how they all take control of the game and just go flat right at the end.

And by the way, NICE CLOCK MANAGEMENT GIANTS. Apparently you want to win real bad, dontcha?!?
