NHL 2007 Season Thread

Jose didn't play well for the Aves tonight.

Franzenstien came up big tonight for the home team :D :D :D

Oh and how about the Habs. Talk about pulling one out!

I wonder if Budaj will start tomorrow. Any talk of Forsberg returning to the line-up for the rest of the series?

Pens/Rangers should be an awesome series. Laraque vs. Avery. Fight!

I think Roberts and Avery would go before Laraque and Avery. Roberts and Avery have a bit of history, they've gone back and forth a few times.

On the ice, Avery congratulated Roberts on getting a contract extension. Roberts asked why, and Avery said it's nice he'll continue with the organization since there is no way he'll be on the ice for two more years. That's just one story I heard.

I'm a bit worried about Roberts re-aggravating his groin pull. MSG ice can get a bit soft and choppy.

Nice fanservice Penguin fans have for Jagr, almost as bad as Damon got when the Yankees played Boston.

Good game really sloppy by Team Jagr. Hope they take it to them at MSG.
Huh? You mean "team suck a little less than NJ"? They aren't going anywhere. lol
You mean the team that beat NJ 13 out of 14 times this season?
They will last longer then your Sharks, and already lasted longer then Ottawa.

ooOooOoooO... so yeah, suck slightly less. lol and btw, I never said the Sharks would go all the way. Ottawa? that's saying much...

The only reason, they made the playoffs is because that whole conference has a lot more teams that suck so the records during the reg season stayed pretty close. lol

Well those are you two shitty teams you would be rooting for I assume. The Rangers suck, but not as bad as you do at Vegas 2, or your hockey teams your rooting for. :)

Wow, have to go personal attacks already? lol well, I don't care RSV2 is still the best. As for me, I'm going for SJ only because it's the only hockey here... my other team Ottawa decided to choke although Ottawa's player changes made me dislike them a lot more this season. Only thing I know is I HATE the Mighty fucks and the Dallas SARS... As long as those two teams don't get the cup I'm happy. The Wings have been expected by me to go all the way just because... that is as long as they don't choke again. Do I like them though? no... not really.
Wow, have to go personal attacks already?wahhhhh.
I was just bitching that the Rangers lost and It's you that decided to esclate it, so don't try to get around that. I know what It's like when it comes to losing teams btw, was a Hartford Whalers fan since I was born and I'm in Connecticut as we speak.

Vegas is indeed a great game, I was just stating your skill at it.

Oh and Red Wings are pretty much the Yankees of the NHL aka big salary cap and trying to go out there to win the cup every year. No suprise there.

I sure hope the Pens can get over their horrible season playing in MSG (0-3-1) and put this series away... glad to see them get another hard fought win

there is a reason they boo Jagr.. you don't see them booing straka do you?? Jagr, while he is a great player, was a locker room problem and creates tensions much like Bonds does... They boo Jagr because he is an ass..

A Wings/Stars series would be fantastic hockey. I'd love to see the Wings get another Cup before Lidstrom retires, but my guess is the Stars would take that one in 7 games.

I think the best thing for the NHL right now would be a Detroit/Pittsburgh final. Showcase the young stars of the Penguins against the experienced Wings. That would be a phenomenal series.

Even though the refs were way too involved I thought this was pretty funny.

Forsberg added that he felt Samuelsson sold the call. "Definitely. He's laying there on the ice and I barely touched him," Forsberg said.--What Forsberg failed to mention is the rink staff picked up a couple of Samuelsson's teeth from the ice during the commercial break.

Forsberg: "I didn't realize I hit him," Forsberg said. "But I guess he was bleeding so I guess I did hit him, so I have nothing to say. If he's bleeding, it's four minutes. I didn't think I hit him that hard."

So, you're admitting that you hit him on purpose?

And, I never realized it, but Colorado has not won against the Wings all season.

Rangers will have to pull the Red Sox miracle without Avery. His spleen was ready to explode after the game. He's done for the reason/rest of playoffs.

It might be Pitt versus Philly. Will be VERY interesting if the Flyers can win another against the Canadians and the Penguins win one more versus the Rangers (which they will).
Good job losing habs... no matter, flyers gonna get wrecked next round.
pffft.

I'll discuss that WHEN the Flyers win, we all saw how they went to game 7 against the Caps.

Well the Wings continue to roll. Hopefully they won't sit too many days before the next round starts. Franzenstien has gone crazy.

I hoope Joe Sakic decides to stick around another year. Great player.

Looks like the fucking Sharts are playing again... They don't deserved to go on, I mean can you play any more fucking retarded??

Anyway, I hope the fucking Wings fucking wreck the fucking SARS in the next round...
