Yeah, I just finished Dig 1 and went straight to part two. I rarely get the time to play games to completion, let alone playing two of the same games back to back. Dig 1 was solid(but on the short side, but that's typical of indie titles), and 2 is much better and I'm only a few hours in to that one. I have Heist, but I'm not in to strategy games at all, but the reviews where so good, I figured I'd give it a go. Plus the universe is pretty cool and unique, so I figured visiting it a third time can't be all bad, even if I end up not liking the game. LOL

Yeah, I'm not into strategy games at all, but the charm and platforming aspect of it really make it an incredible and unique game. It also has a huge variety of customization to each person's play style. It's one of probably only 3 turn-based games I have ever really loved, so it's certainly worth giving a shot.

P.S. Get ready to sink 20 hours into Dig 2 and forget that time exists.

Yeah, I've been playing it every free chance I get over the last few days, it's very much a major improvement over the first. Every issue I had with the first, seems to be improvement and the game expanded in proper ways. So far, so good.

First up is Sutte Hakkun for the Super Famicom. This is a cute puzzle platformer with great replay value. The cart goes for a couple of hundred dollars on eBay, so to pick it up for about $9 is great! Not only that, I successfully dumped the rom using VCRomClaim and applied an english translation patch to be able to understand everything! Highly recommended.

If you don't have a Wii with enough points loaded, you can still buy it on a the Japanese Wii U Nintendo eShop. (And using homebrew, you can backup Wii U eshop VC purchases, too.)

If you want to try out many games that were on the Japanese Wii Shop Channel, but NOT on the USA/EUR Wii Shop Channel, I would recommend picking up a Japanese Wii U. Many of them are still available to buy with new points there, but not every game. I plan on buying a JP Wii U to pick up some of the Wii Shop games I couldn't get at this time.

Keep in mind though, as I was looking for used JP Wii U consoles, I've noticed they are slowly going up in price. In Japan, the Wii U only sold around 3.5 million units, so the supply is going to start running out one of these days. If you are planning to pick one up, I recommend getting one as soon as you can.

The Wii Shop Channel and the Nintendo eShop on 3DS and Wii U are still some of the BEST places to get classic games legally. Depending on what's announced at E3 concerning Virtual Console for Switch and the "classic game library," the Wii U and 3DS may still be viable platforms for playing these classic games. Don't pack up your Wii U's yet!

I got it when it was first released on Xbox 360, but never finished it. Now that it's on the switch, I'm having a lot more fun than I did before. The various forms on controlling the game is great and not forced. I think I have used the motion controls with the joy cons more than the pro controller.
If only red dead would get the switch treatment

I honestly gave up on VC back in the Wii era, as I saw then "N" had no clue how to offer their past library in a decent and respectable way. $8 for old arcade games is really pushing the level of abuse, but I guess if fans will pay, but I'm in at $5, and not a penny more.

I agree and disagree at the same time. After licensing fees and porting(SNK, Konami, Nintendo, etc of course need to get their cut), $8 for these games is likely a fair price but it's also hard to swallow especially if multiple games interest you and then the $8 each really adds up. I've been hoping to see a big sale on them but it hasn't really happened yet.

Yeah, the time I've spent with it, $20 seems a little high, but most definitely that is better than the current asking price of $41. I need to spend some more time, and try the different control methods, but I've played it a decent amount and it just doesn't seem to be a good fighting game. A really good tech demo seems more accurate of a description, but that's just my thoughts so far on Arms. My 12 year old hasn't touched it much either, and his level of quality is way lower than mine, as he'll play just about anything.

Only problem is once/if it drops that low, it won't have as large of a community as it does now - which is kinda the point, being an online game. 30% off is still a solid deal, especially if you will be playing local co-op. Finally, I beat Xenoblade Chronicles 2 yesterday, 180 hours in... Went a little crazy on maxing out some unnecessary things, but I have to say the game has given me the biggest bang for my buck since I used to play MMOs in the mid-2000s.

It was a solid title, and I enjoyed it very much, but on the surface, it appears to be a rather cheap mobile title. I think $10 would have been better at launch vs. $15, but who can say what went wrong for sure? It was probably one of the better 3DS indie titles released last year.
