I know everyone on this site likes to act like they are so smart but here is a story about what an idiot I am.
I have owned all three versions of the Nintendo Switch. In order to change game carts for the original and Lite version I would stick my fingernail on the top of the flap and pull it away from the console allowing me access to the cart slot. When I got my OLED this was a huge pain in the ass to do and up until the other day when my Switch 2 showed up I never closed the flap tight so I could get it open without using a butter knife (I keep my finger nails short because I am not gross).
My Switch 2 came and I spent most of my time playing Mario Kart World (digital) and Soul Calibur II. I am ONLY 105 hours into Xenoblade Chronicles X so I finally wanted to see how that played on the Switch 2. I own this physically so I went to open the slot on the Switch 2. It is even worse than the OLED. No way is this happening again! I look around until I finally realize I am supposed to put my finger on the lower back side of the flap and push it UP and it pops right up. I pull my OLED back out to see if this is how it works on that too, it is. I assume if I read the instructions it clearly says to do it this way but hey, who has time for that. Anyways, I feel stupid.
