To be fair, the last boss in Zelda games tend to be fairly easy but high on spectacle. Dungeon bosses haven't been difficult since Adventures of Link IMO, they're just fun to battle.

RMX is fantastic and DF went full Kanye and it declared the best looking portable game of all time. If you like hovercraft racing it certainly scratches the Wipeout itch, though I wish it did have weapons.

 
So do you think stores getting them in today are actually gonna hold them until tomorrow to sell, or is it gonna be a free for all?

That and what of the stores that get them in after the 22nd?

No it is a free for all, over 20 stores just dropped off. I think you will see the east coast get them tomorrow, and west coast on the 23rd since this is exactly how the NES Classic restock started.

You sir are an angel. I looked at your list this morning and my local GS wasn't on there. I just checked and it was. I called they had stock and then they told me I picked up the last one. Must have sold out in a few mins.

I think my location will be getting theirs in tomorrow. I won't be able to get them until 11ish so I'll probably miss out.

Also, for clarification, if the gamestop near me doesn't have any in stock according to the spread sheet by the time they close tonight, that means there isnt any point in running over there when they open at 10am?

I've got a dr. appointment that I have to leave by 11am to get there in time and I probably won't be done until 3 or 4 in the afternoon.

I feel like I'm straight out of luck and will have to wait until the next restock.

Some stores get their shipments a little after opening. So, it may not update tonight but will update when they scan it in after they open?

My thing is I've got a ruptured disc in my back and I've got a bunch of different factors working against me because of this. I've got a bunch of 3 hour plus long drives I'm going to have to endure while I go through the process of getting my back fixed. I just wanted to have a switch for these long car rides, but I guess I'll just have to wait until they are more widely available.

Only reason I'm set on getting one at lamestop is because I've got $275 in credit there already.

Oh dang. I've pulled my back multiple times from lifting weights and I was always scared I may have herniated a disc. I hear it is incredibly painful.

Dang that GameStop credit. Only reason I'd get one from there as well. Hopefully, Nintendo gets their 2 million units out by the end of the month.

A $200 credit toward a Switch for trading in a PS4 actually seems like a pretty good deal. And since I bought a Pro from a Newegg deal a month or so ago, I do have an extra PS4 laying around to trade in.

But the thing is, I just got a Switch from Best Buy last night and hooked it up. A second one, actually, since the first one I got had a slight defect on the screen itself...thus I had returned and exchanged it for last night's Switch (they had JUST gotten a shipment in that night). And since I had done a couple of exchanges recently with some external hard drives (had a bit of a time finding one that the 4.50 update would play nicely with), I might be close to running afoul of Best Buy's return-abuse ban that's apparently a thing if I were to return a Switch yet again.

So, on the one hand, if I wanted to take advantage of this deal, I'd have to pack up the Switch into the box yet again, take what I know to be a perfectly good Switch and swap it for one that might have a defect of some kind (be it a dead pixel or a slight dent in the screen like my first one) and/or could already have been used yet listed as "new" (as mentioned in a post a few pages back in this thread)...and also risk not being able to return anything to Best Buy again.

But then again, if I don't do it, then I still have a PS4 sitting around doing nothing. Hmm. Can one do better than getting $200 for a regular PS4 nowadays? Or is this deal as good as I'll get for it? Thoughts?

I would suggest to wait for a better offer. So far it seems like the deal is "UP TO" $200 towards a switch. But the prices you get for trade in are the regular prices towards anything. $200 for a PS4 pro or a 1TB PS4. The 500gb PS4 is only $150. Xbox One 2TB is $175, and the rest are lower. So don't think of it as a deal, it's more of a flashy announcement of their regular trade prices.

I was in the same boat and did not buy a switch. My main reasons were that 1) Breath of the Wild is available on Wii U 2) Other games that interest me do not come out until later this year and 3) I wouldn't use the portability of the Switch. I will be buying the Switch at some point, just not now.

At this point, I say no. Wait for them to fix the joycon issues, and dock, as well as a few other bugs and R&D issues. There's nothing to play besides Zelda at the moment (which is on the console you already own), and then the end of next month there will be Mario Kart (which you probably already own), Splatoon 2 is around the time I'd suggest to get one. I'm almost done with Zelda and know I'm going to have it sit and collect dust for awhile after I beat it.

How many times do people need to be told that these are defective units, not design flaws?

But I agree, if you only want Zelda, don't bother getting it.

I agree 100%, outside of Zelda, the NS doesn't have much, and the Wii U is a much better buy currently with a much better library of cheap games.

BTW, here is a report of what "N" is doing to fix the JC issues sent in under warranty, as well as reports of the newest ones having been changed for retail(don't know if true or not).

The dock being built with a plastic strip is DEFINITELY a design flaw, so is the antenna obstruction of the left joycon. You're crazy and misinformed to say otherwise.

I had mine for two weeks and haven't experienced any issues. Have you?

Ps...curious if GS will sell the new stock as bundles or just the system.

Not a single Gamestop in Largo FL has'm.  I was at one at opening (with 5 other people); wife was at another.  2 more on our cells.  No one had'm in.  The best they could "guess" is "maybe" in the UPS shipment.  

The ones coming in are SINGLES though.  Not bundles.  I did ask.  I also tried asking if I pre-ordered the bundle would I get the bundle today.  No dice.

I was there at opening with 2 others. My local store hasn't gotten their shipment in and said it would be one day this week and they had no idea when they were coming.

 
A gamestop employee said (reddit) that they won't be getting more neon consoles in store, until the second wave in summer.
