If you live on the east coast employee was probably BSing you then.
Sorry I should have said I'm in the Dallas, Tx area. Looks like some Tx stores are getting their stock in according the your spreadsheet. The ones on the sheet are about 45 minutes from me. I only have 1 store within 30 miles of me so I'm really hoping I don't miss out on my local store!

Too many people looking at the sheet lol I can't update it. I might have to suspend sharing momentarily to update it.

Ok was able to update it just now thanks

I was 2 hours late but I called a good GS near me and they were selling the last switch as I was on the phone with them lol. I know the girl there so she wouldn't try anything but I could've easily gotten up 2 hours ago to get another one. Not really worth it tho so I'm not trippin

At 11:22, the spreadsheet didn't have my local store. At 11:38, my store was added as Low Stock. I called my store at 11:40 and they said they're sold out already. Ugh.

I had mine for two weeks and haven't experienced any issues. Have you?
Yes. Left joy-con issue was immediate, bought a Pro controller the next day (thankfully Target still had one). I put a microfiber cloth on the front of my screen when docking and waited for a tempered glass protector, then I bought a dock sock from a user on the Trading forum to prevent any scratches, glad I did. No scratches on the front of my screen yet, but there are lots of light scratches on the back that I just noticed.

Rushed to get one at the only store on the list near me at 11, when i got home at 12 every single other store near me had one(about 8 stores). Seems like if you want one you'll be able to get one today/tomorrow. Plus saved $50 on the console and zelda with the Ebay gift card deal so can't beat that.

Looks like you need to put a dock sock on the back too, big boy.

Went to 2 different gamestops by my house and nether had one of course lol i dont even know why i tried. Plus the first one i went to a person was asking about nes classic lady told him they are not making anymore. And that the nes classic is discontinued.

Each process takes around 10-15 minutes so there could be up to a 15 minute delay when I post new findings.

More of them too are coming up as Low Stock (1-2 units) now too so if your store has shitty employees it could still show stock but employees are holding on to them.

Called one of my local GameStops here in Vegas and they said they might have a few tommorow. I'm not very optimistic honestly, checking the Switch subreddit and many people have said their stores have gotten anywhere between 2-6 consoles. I'm probably just going to wait it out until mid April.

The dock being built with a plastic strip is DEFINITELY a design flaw, so is the antenna obstruction of the left joycon. You're crazy and misinformed to say otherwise.
lol that's not true. Dock design works fine. A few anecdotal reports of supposed problems doesn't equate to a design flaw.

SAme thing with the joycon. Nintendo is repairing the few that have problems by putting a very tiny amt of signal blocking foam over one little spot inside the joycon.

okay Nintendo PR. I have eyes, I know my dock has plastic rails.

So? The rails don't make contact with the screen. And you don't know the hardness of the rail plastic compared to the hardness of the screen plastic. Plus you don't know the angle of the rails front and back. And you didn't mention the rubber/foam material towards the bottom of the front rails that sicks out farther than those plastic rails. etc etc.

And it didn't escape me that your reply said nothing about your screen being scratched. :)

I see the thread is going elsewhere.

I'm going to wait till these 16M units they are giving to produce come out before I go out looking for one. I'm guessing any problems (if present) are fixed with next shipment.

While searching for a few Wii classic controllers for my NESC at Gamestop, I was told the same. Given it has been months since a major restock now, I'm guessing this is true or at least momentarily because of Switch production. Either way, bad on Nintendo for their string of major shortages. It's fairly obvious they do this on purpose at this point.

My screens weren't scratched because I took preventative measures to avoid that, smart guy. Keep excusing Nintendo for their obvious faults. At least they've solved the joycon antenna issues.

lmao. Yeah and now you spent over $30 to prevent something that isn't happening. And not only that, but your $30 made it worse because you have light scratches on the back of your device now thanks to the dock sock.

ended up stopping at 2 different locations that still have In Stock...looks like they got them in today but are doing a ticket system first thing tomorrow morning, ugh

Four stores near me in Pennsylvania had Switch in stock today. Quantity was around five. All stores wiped out by 11a to 12 PM. I was at work so missed out. Good luck to CAGs still on the hunt. I'm going to let this go until Black Friday and get back to work on that backlog.

Anything in New Orleans or the surrounding areas seemed to have sold by around noon CST. From what I was told by each store, they each got 5 units.

$10 for the sock, $5 for the screen protector. Also bought my Switch for $100 by flipping a couple of Switches, dummy. If a thin piece of fabric, and a screen protector (one of the most commonly purchased accessories for portable devices) is enough to scratch the back of the console, then your dock is poorly designed.

I called my local Gamestop in Las Cruces, as of 1pm they have not received their stock. I asked if they were receiving the gray or neon -- I was told GS will only be stocking the gray version from now on and the neon will only be offered as bundles. if this is true, it's very disappointing.

I stopped by the store across the street from my work at lunch. I was told they sold out almost immediately. I was offered the option of preordering an in store only bundle that includes BOTW, BOTW DLC, the BOTW Collectors Edition Strategy Guide, snipper clips download and the Switch. I considered it briefly despite already have the BOTW special edition because the Neon Joy cons were included with the system in this package but I passed because I don't need all that extra stuff and don't want to take the chance I would not be able to return the stuff I don't need

lmao. You spent money to give your Switch scratches whether it's $15 as your claim or $30 it's the same difference.

It doesn't matter where your money came from to purchase your Switch. Whether you flipped Switches or Burgers, it's still cash that you spent. And has no relevance here.

Something isn't poorly designed if you buy accessories from 3rd parties that aren't approved and it messes up your device in some form or fashion.

You gotta separate this notion that anecdotal problem equals design flaw. They shipped at least a million of these already. 1% problem rate means you could read about 30 unique problems per day for an entire year before you would get through all of the problems of the first million units shipped.

The system I got yesterday didn't seem to have any issues. I was pretty happy, until I noticed something funky with my B button (not my belly button). It's the only button the doesn't register with a normal press. Instead I have to depress the button past the normal click that it makes (i.e. apply extra pressure). I thought I could work with this at first, but I miss way too many button presses because of this, and menuing can be a bit frustrating. Going to have to get it fixed...oh well

Scummy shit like that makes people very pissed at gamestop.

Man, been trying since 11 AM but no luck in all of the Rochester, NY area. A couple stores were saying that I could come in to pre-order the Zelda Neon bundle that would maybe come in next week. Not sure if I believe that, so I'll just wait and hope there will be some come MK8 Deluxe release.

Greatly appreciate your help with the very handy stock sheet though, blackbeard4886!

Then why bring up $30 to begin with, numb nuts? Just shut the hell up already, everything you're saying is idiotic. Also the officially licensed Nintendo screen protectors are garbage and don't fit correctly. I hope you end up scratching your Switch's front screen for being a careless apologist.

lmao. You can include all the sentence enhancers you want and the dock still doesn't scratch the screen.

Nothing in Washington. I went to my local Gamestop and was told that he thinks he is only going to get 4 and then tried to sell me on the Neon Bundle. Really only want Zelda, don't want Shovel Knight, Snipperbits, or the Collectors Edition Guide. So I passed.

Ha, I have a friend looking for one and told him to check Greece Ridge Mall this morning based on BB's sheets. He was told they don't have any, but was also pressured to buy the Zelda bundle.

Good thing Gamestop has no track record of lying to customers...
