I'm the exact opposite. I wasn't interested in this game at all until I watched the trailers a few days ago, and now I'm really looking forward to it.

I actually have June's Famitsu Wave DVD which has video from Snake Vs. Zombie. I ripped it to avi, but I still need someone to translate it.

I've already ordered August's which should have some more footage. I'll upload it to youtube once I get it (comes out in two days).

I updated the OP a bit yesterday.

Note the wrestling tidbits from the video above. And the jerkoff to power up your sword motions. I hope someone doesn't walk in on me while playing.. unless...
 
This looks to be a good one. I just started playing Killer 7 and love the art style.
The wrestling controls look to be fun to mess with.

ahh xplay, hasn't changed a bit. Will these people still be doing this when they're 50? (working game journalism is to real journalism what porn roles are to legit filmmakers?)

anyway, is this game definitely hitting this year? I want it...

Looking like a combination of GTA and Killer7 - and I don't mean that in a negative way. I did notice something peculiar in one of the screenshots.

Travis is standing next to a dumpster and there is an "A" button icon above his head that looks like the GC controller A button. I wonder if NMH was another GC game in development that was ported over to the Wii?

That "A" could mean anything, though, Suda is fucking crazy.

also note the metal detector treasure hunting... kick ass... reminds me of those horrible TV ads in a good way.
 
The green A could just be green for no reason. I really doubt it was a GC game moved to Wii. The characters are shaping up nicely. This can't come soon enough!

Nope, Suda 51 said he wanted to make NMH because he knew there were going to be alot of family friendly games on the Wii and he wanted to give the adults something to play as well.

Dont know a lot about this.. I will come back to read some more.. Suda 51 though has me excited by itself... i am a fan of Killer 7 as well.

I mean it like how Devil May Cry is Dante's business, and No More Heroes is Travis' Hotel(home?) apparently. I like it better than those games where you have to beat it and go OOOOOH thats where the title is from :lol:

So those latest famitsu scans were translated
- New character: Master Thunder, Travis’ mentor

- Travis will learn new wrestling moves, katana attacks, and increase his stamina and power through teachings by Master Thunder

- Two stores revealed: Area 51 will sell clothing (which we’ve talked about in the past) as well as masks. “Beef Head” (rough translation) will sell videos. The purpose of the videos us unknown at this time.

This game has low-budget-but-pie-in-the-sky-aspirations kung fu movie written all over it. :) Much in the same way GodHand does.

I love it.
