I can confirm this. The one that I got, the box it came in was pretty much crushed on the bottom. I open it to find that the plastic wrap around the guide is all open from the bottom. Two things:

1) My Witcher 3 CE guide auto-adjusted down to the $23.99 price, so I'm at $16.79 before the $3 of book credits I have on my order, which knocks it down to $13.79.

2) The Arkham Knight guide went back up to $30.59, though my order is showing $27.74, which was as cheap as it's made it to.  Let's hope it drops some more between now and the release date.

Used the 30% off on my FF Boxed Set and already had it pretty low. Glad to be getting that for sub-$70 including tax since MSRP is apparently $129.99 (at GS and elsewhere).

Prima tweeted the other day that if you buy the Witcher guide at BB it'll be $10 off (+ you get a discount for buying it with the game usually, so if your CE is there it may end up cheaper than Amazon). Also, GS has that exclusive map, but you'd get 20% off the guide for buying it with the game there too (PUR + 10% bundle discount). So might be good to try there if you want the map.

Unless the map in the GS exclusive CE guide is bigger, I don't get what the difference is between it & the map that comes with every copy of the game.

Edit: It is about 2-3 times bigger than the map that comes with the game, also is a thicker paper stock.

So Witcher 2 didn't have a hardback guide made for it, but when the 360 version came out a paperback guide was made for it; now that may be the most valuable paperback guide ever b/c it's going for $100 plus on Amazon currently.

Don't know what it was before Witcher 3 release but it's super tempting to sell it now. Problem is back then the physical guides didn't come with digital codes so I wouldn't have the guide anymore if I wanted to go back to Witcher 2.

Edit: OK there is a digital version of the Witcher 2 guide so I just put my physical one up on Amazon but I'm kinda ticked that it didn't include a code for the digital one for free. Bought at launch and can't find it anywhere in it.
