If you still have the email, just click "Print Coupon" again and you will get the "same" coupon code with a new expiration date. I still haven't used mine from last year :whistle2:$

 
I want to get the Majora's Mask guide from Amazon, but I know they'll just throw it into the same box as my limited edition MM. I've already received damaged and ruined LE's because of poor packing by Amazon. I'm not willing to gamble with such a rare version of a game on this one though.
 
In case anybody will settle for standard guides, Gamestop is having a sale on a handfull of books and eGuides today for $9.99. Search "Prima" on the Gamestop site for the sale.

All those coupons were coming up invalid late last year. So be aware of that. Contact 888bestbuy to resolve it. They sent me $20 in points instead.

I'm not the only one who still has the VersusBooks guide for the N64 version, right? I have no qualms about passing on this new CE guide if I can use the always-awesome VB one. I know I'll have to relearn how to defeat some of the bosses, but otherwise I should be fine.

I still have mine in mint condition! Stick to the VersusBooks guide, I doubt the new guide will be any better.

VersusBooks guides were the best too bad they aren't in business anymore :whistle2:(

Versusbooks made the absolute best guides. The layout just made so much more sense because it was more of a walkthrough and less of an encyclopedia.

When did you call and what did you say? I still have a coupon left that I didn't use. I was wondering why the one I did use wouldn't discount. So they basically had to do a manual override for me.

I love the VersusBooks Majora guide. Wasnt there like 2 errors in that book? I thought i remember there was a mistake but cant remember what.

 
The Bloodborne CE guide is now $20.99. Hardcover guides with $34.99 MSRPs rarely go lower than 40% off on Amazon before release, so this is likely the best you're going to get for awhile.

Agreed. There's only been 1 or 2 hardcover CE guides that have released at sub-$21 that I can think, those being Uncharted 3 CE.

FF Type-0 CE guide is still down to $24.91 and Majora's Mask 3D CE is also hanging at $20.99.

Also, Battlefield Hardline isn't getting a CE guide, in case anyone was wondering about it. I contacted Prima when it was going OOS everywhere and they said it's not getting a CE, just a regular guide.

Majora's Mask CE guide is now sold out on Amazon. Appears to be unavailable on BestBuy.com, too.
Glad I ordered one already... Hope others did too.
 
Well the link to my GCU coupon is dead now. I should have printed it off weeks ago when I ordered the guide.  I guess I'll be returning my Majora's Mask CE to the store because $37.53 after tax is too steep.

 
Can anyone confirm whether the Majora's Mask 3D CE guide is simply a reprint of an older one, or if it actually has new / revised / corrected content?

anyone think Majora Mask CE guide will come back in stock? I know Amazon and Gamestop had a bunch on backorder. Personally hope Best Buy gets it back.

Aww man. I actually like the CE BF guides! I've got the others and was hoping for this one too! That stinks. Oh well, I guess it leaves more room on the book shelf for some others! I'm also looking forward to a Batman Arkham Knight one to add to my Arkham City collection still (sad there wasn't an AA one)!

Blame Prima for that one. I didn't know why it was going OOS everywhere with showing as "not sure when it's coming back in stock" and it didn't make sense to me.

FuturePress is incorporating the changes of the 2.69GB day-one patch into the guide (adding 128 pages for a 528-page total), which IMO is greatly appreciated and well worth the wait.

Good to know. I'm OK with them delaying it since the Day 1 patch adds game content into the game and not just bugfixes.

My Amazon pre-order shows the $20.99 low price it hit, without a release date tied to the order. Link on the product page shows this now:

People that had the Bloodborne CE guide preordered should be keeping an eye out from Amazon, as they're sending out the "Are you sure you still want this item?" emails, where you need to approve the delay of the item showing up or they will auto-cancel the order in a month's time.

I received one last night, so wanted to let people know to keep an eye out for those emails.

In other news, the Arkham Knight CE guide price keeps dropping in small amounts, now close to $31 in price on Amazon.

 
I never got the "Are you sure you still want this item?" email, but my guide still hasn't shipped. Anyone know if BB or GS got them in today?

I noticed a topic on GameFAQs saying the guide might have been delayed until 4/23, but I don't know if that's accurate. My guide still hasn't shipped.

 
Just snagged 7 different collectors guides from BB for free. A bunch of them dropped cost down to a penny at the beginning of the month
 
GS says they have an exclusive paper map with their Witcher 3 CE guide. It looks to be very similar, if not the same, as the map from the CE game.

The guide is $32 at GS if you buy it w/game & are a PUR member. That's not too much more than AZ if you don't have Prime or aren't throwing something else in for free shipping.

Holdonholdonholdon WHICH GUIDES? Penny guides have been dead at Best Buy for years (?) now, with the actual $0.01 ringup price replaced with a "Not Found" or whatever result.

Its definitely YMMV. Once they go out of stock, shortly after the "cost" drops to under a dollar. At that point the stores are supposed to send them back for credit of the cost (under a dollar). If you ask a manager to "key them out". They might. They basically just adjust their inventory to say they aren't there then hand them to you. It is way easier then sending them back for pennies. They can't actually ring them though the register as it won't let them. Obviously very YMMV depending on the manager
