The Gwent decks should have plastic wrap on it, so I wouldn't be too worried it was swapped.

You have the Ciri steelbook still, so it's probably not tampered with.

How you got the Ciri steelbook twice instead of the Skellige/Wild Hunt steelbook is weird though.

Edit: I'm not looking to trade, specifically, but I do have extra Skellige and Ciri steelbooks if you can't find someone to trade. I'll have my set of 3 whether or not I trade.

So, now that I think about it, the geralt figure was in a styrofoam box - is that how it should be? The cards were there, so was the chain, art book and the cloth map. So I guess I got all the items meant for the CE. fuck, now I am worried I didnt spend more time investigating all the items before heading back to work.

Circular stickers common issue on all of the Witcher CE's. They don't stick. I think the manufacturers wanted to use a sticker that could be removed without damaging the box, however, they are so "anti stick" that they don't stick at all.

Understood and thank you. I will check with my coworker first, who has a PS4 steel book. If I talk up Ciri SB and "reluctantly" agree to part with my SB for his, I am sure both of us will depart equally (dis)satisfied.

Actually, he doesnt care about the SB and may simply give me his if I ask; but, I dont want to just take it for free so a trade is a better option. Let me see if I can talk fast... :)

 
So anyone else confirmed whether you can OMS ESO at BB? With the midnight launch happening soon I wonder if someone could try and put one through? (No BB close enough to me tonight otherwise id try)
 
I hate this but I couldve sworn best buy charges upfront and holds money off of your credit card? I placed and order and now my momey is being taken out? I always thought it was taken months in advance?

Also, I'm looking for a BB preorder Wotcher 3 steel.

BB does a rolling charge, meaning they authorize for that amount at time of preorder and a few days later lift it. From preorder to release they may authorize the payment a couple times. Then finally a day or two before shipping or pick up they actually charge your card.

BB has one of the worst preorder systems really. I'd rather them either take it all when I order or not take any until release. The ways to avoid this are either in store Pre-orders($5 down), use gift cards(you won't get any points), use paypal(pay upfront), or use the BB CC(pay upfront).

Personally I normally use my BB CC, then just pay it off immediately. You won't have to worry about the rolling charge and you get a lot more points. For instance I am Elite Plus and have GCC, for a new game I get around 280-300 points and that's before any bonus Certs being offered.
 
Huh, the BBCC is also a rolling charge just like a regular credit card. Never been charged upfront for that.
As for points you get about 200(4x48) points with elite plus, gamers club, and BB cc for a brand new game that retails for $60.

I couldve sworm it wasnt a rolling charge.... anyway. I got to find some money then. I overspent this time because I thought I covered the charge on my card.....
 
I thought I paid off my credit card when they did a preauthorization charge. Card showed that I owed nothing else after paying it off then ESO ships, I get charged $10.

Not the same game exactly. The extra boss and weapon are on disc content for the Kickstarter edition.

Agreed, if you buy games at BB, get the credit card. It's great for preorders plus you get bonus points (I normally get around 8 to 9 % back on games when you count regular points, CC bonus, Gamers Club Bonus, and Elite Plus bonus

That is a nice looking PS4, though I'm not usually one to grab a special edition of a console.

Let's hope either importing it isn't horrible or that the US gets it somewhere, even if it's at least GS.

A limited amount of GS locations did a midnight for ESO. The store I shop at had 100 preorders so it had to, but there's only 3 or 4 others in the district that did.

All GS (not in enclosed malls) are doing a midnight for Batman though.
 
I preordered the Arkham knight CE when it went live again over the weekend for PS4 at Amazon, it doesn't have a delivery estimate though, it says it's needing more time and they'll email me when available.

Does that mean I'm screwed? The gunmetal console I preordered has a 6/23 delivery estimate..

Not necessarily, my preorder from last year and he one for the recently announced comic bundle still shows release date pending. I think they just haven't updated the listing. It's happened before with things.

Potentially dumb question here: When you import a console, how do you handle the different power configuration? Do you use one of those universal travel adapters? Or can you plus a US power brick into a foreign console?

The plug is usually the only item that's different with a non-US console, so it may only be a cable swap needed on either the console itself or its associated AC adapter.

i doubt it, arkham series has probably a bigger following in the US compare to metal gear solid. just look at the sales number

I don't have a PS4 or XB1 manual handy, though I would be very surprised if they're not 110-220V 50/60A auto-switching at the console or AC adapter, with the AC cord + plug being the only difference.

There's a good chance that they are waiting until E3 to announce it, last year they announced the White Destiny Bundle on stage. If that does happen, I think MGSV might get some exclusive DLC or content on PS4 too.
