Anyone here got the order 1886 premium edition? I just want to know if it's well worth the $60. It'll probably go down to $50 or $40 some time this year

The statue from the premium edition was really nice imo. I only paid $40 at GS because I had a coupon, but I think even at $60 its worth it, I sold the game/steelbook/dlc for $30 last week since I already seen the entire game. I think the statue alone is well worth $40. There's also the artbook/blackwater vial necklace.

I'm honestly 100% happy with both the CE and PE of The Order 1886 I have. Paid $60 for the CE at launch with GCU and $75 for the PE during an Amazon Flash sale. Their super high quality statues so that mixed with the nice steelbook (plus I really enjoyed the game) it was totally worth it

According to amazon store pages, yeah the order pe is bigger. Alduin statue stands at 12 inches tall while the order statue is 13 inches tall. It really is fucking huge. Really really nice though, and very high quality. Not sure how the skyrim statue was.
 
As much as I dislike Best Buy never PMing anything I go in there to PM, I have to admit I love that they are the only retailer to have Collectors Editions these days. This was taken at about 3:30pm yesterday

Lucky. My local BB hasn't really carried CEs in a couple years. Manager said he doesn't bother trying to get them unless there are preorders for them.

I will almost never buy a BB CE if its not launch day. Mine all put those ridiculously stupid securing straps on them which just ends up tearing into the box on all sides and ruining it. All the GSs (and some of the Walmarts/Targets) near me usually have more CEs than BB and almost never end up using those box-killing devices.

Yeah, The Order Premium Edition is quite a bit bigger than Skyrim's CE. It's closer to the size of Titanfall's CE - well, it's just a bit smaller than Titanfall's. I've got all three wasting valuable space in my game room. I really wish we could go back to the days when CEs were manageable size to actually collect - just give me a Steelbook with a nice map/poster and a soundtrack CD contained within and I'd be happy. My CE collection takes up about as much space as the rest of my entire game collection.

GS has less store to watch. I hate putting those things on but collector's editions are prime to be opened and have the game and small items removed.

Between all the CEs I've bought, the funkos and specialty statutes that my GF collects, my office is overloaded.

Yeah, I guess from a LP viewpoint I could see that. But do those ever sell after they've been damaged like that or do they end up returned/shrunk out of inventory months down the line because they haven't sold? I suppose there are collector's out there who don't care about the box, but to me it is such a shame every time I see one ripped up like that.

Thanks for posting though! I always appreciate the thoughts/opinions of others (well, usually, not ALWAYS haha) and its good to get your perspective.

easy solution for best buy then that win win for lost prevention and also make it so no need for the straps. Just put the CE's on bottom shelf in a clear Glass case that locked like the handheld 3ds consoles are. that way only way to get it out is with a key from a employee.

The Best Buys near me used to have lockup cages but they got rid of them all.  There is just one sliding glass lockup for the 3DS hardware now.  It was nice when those cages used to house all the Blu Ray box sets and Collector's Editions.

Those take up a lot of floor space and are normally reserved for high dollar, easily stolen, and always stocked items. This normally includes laptops, mp3 players, tablets, smart watches, and regular games. CEs take up a lot of space and are rarely stocked.

I'm not sure all of these games are available on console. This would have been a rocking way to announce that though.

I'm buying this for the nuke, and if the games are Steam/etc. codes and not just install DVDs then I'll probably get rid of them.

I think this is a must have for fallout fans anyway, I'd assume most already have the GOTY editions of both new vegas and 3 and this will make a nice display for them, and a calculator could run FO1 & 2 so even if people don't have gaming pcs they could still try them for the first time.

 
I placed a preorder for the fallout anthology.

The other day I was pissed because I was thinking that I missed the preorder for mighty no 9 signature edition.

I looked at my order history to make sure the order went through and I saw mighty no 9 listed.

Getting old and forgetting shit FTW!!

Now if I can get the fridge CE, I will be happy...

I think the majority of us are buying it for the mini nuke. I still have my big box fallout (I didn't know any pc games had value, but that one was nice to find out about), but it is nice to have all of them all updated for a newer pc.

I guess I'm in for a mini nuke.  Haven't played a game on pc in a decade or so and don't know if I'll play these.  Helps that I could cash in some BB points to lower the cost even more. 

 
I own every one of the games in the Fallout Collection.  With that being said . . . I pre-ordered it.  Because fuck it, they deserve the money and I want it.
