So Gamestop is the only retailer to have the Mirror's Edge CE so far. I wonder why they have the listing so far ahead of the competition. It's been a couple weeks now.

The game doesn't come out til Feb, so the other retailers could conceivably not have it up for order for a couple months.

 
So the guy used the n-word in his home and people found out about it by watching his private sextape. IDK how someone can get on a moral high horse (over hulk) in that situation. Jordan who is arguably the greatest athlete of all time admits he was "racist against white people", but nike didn't drop him. The NBA didn't drop him. Society had the proper reaction and said: "Well people make mistakes, they change, etc."

If everyone was scrutinized and held accountable for everything they have ever said in private we would all be "outraged" at each other.

If you're not in the EU, you don't pay VAT. The €69.99 price is inclusive of VAT. The price to a U.S. customer is €58.82 + €14.00 EUR shipping. At current 1.10x exchange rate to USD that's $79.91 shipped. Personally I don't think that's too bad at al for a slick Steelbook edition. I wish our CEs here were more like this.

EDIT: I will grant you, though, that by the time this comes out the exchange rate could be a bit worse since it's so low right now largely due to Greece's mess.

Also might be worth mentioning, Lootcrate announced, later this year they will have a special Fallout crate. From the sound of it, it's not part of the subscription, and will have to be ordered separately. It's said to contain special exclusive Fallout items. I plan on trying to pick it up, so if I see it go up for order, I'll pass the info along.

Depends on the site. Some remove VAT for non-EU customers, others don't.

I contact their customer service after placing my order. I forward them a copy of my order confirmation and in my email I reference the EU statute that says exports to non-EU customers do not incur VAT charges.

I've only ever NOT had my VAT charge refunded twice. In those instances, you can have the VAT charge that you incurred refunded by the country that the retailer who unlawfully collected it is in.

Last official piece of merchandise might have a good resale value down the line if left sealed.

A different example the Benoit documentary DVD from 04 (3 years before crazy town) still sells on Amazon for $40 plus shipping used, not sure about sealed.

It's actually related to the court case with Gawker over him suing them for publishing a portion of it. The trial was delayed then all of a sudden this extra stuff from the tape (it was setup secretly) catches all this other stuff Hogan said not knowing he was being taped then it leaks to the media.

Well, most companies have different CEs in different countries. it happens all the time -- just doesn't usually get posted on this thread much because reasons. Even as awesome as CDPR was in keeping primarily the same CE (xbox exclusives aside) worldwide- they still had separate CEs in the Czeck Republic. Stinks for those who want to always have the "best" of a particular series but hey, it could be worse, it could be Ubisoft.

Sorry it took so long to respond, I had thrown out the list and just went to GS today. In the system its called "Mirrors Edge CE No Game SD 2/23/16" and the sku is 114938 for $140.

Funny thing there is they openly admitted they lied. When they announced it they announced it would be extremely limited. Then, once they sold out quickly, they bumped up production. As the article states, they said they sold more of these than any other item they've ever sold. So, it's limited... but you produced more of them than anything else you've ever produced...?

Well its not that unfathomable since Bethesda doesn't make these Pipboys themselves. They hire 3rd party factories to make them. The factory probably also have other contracts they need to fulfill as well so they told Bethesda no more. I do also believe Bethesda actually made quite a bit of Pipboys, especially compared to CEs like the COD Juggernog edition. There were many more preorder opportunities for the Pipboy and tons more listed and sold on Ebay than Juggernog. It's just that the demand for the Pipboy Edition is also sky high compared to any other CE. I wouldn't be surprised if Bethesda actually made like 250k Pipboy Editions but you got 1 million hard core Fallout fans wanting one.

Again, how limited can be subjective based on demand. If it's a real popular item, Bethesda can make 100k or 200k and it can still be considered limited if twice as many people wants one. You still can't find it at retailers. On the opposite spectrum, you can have the Titanfall CE, only 35000 made, or CE of some niche title with only 10000 made. But if there's no demand, it can be looked at as overproduced and goes to clearance. In terms of Bethesda coming out to say, no more Pip-boys, I don't believe they're lying, it would be a very bad look for the company if they made more in the future after saying this. I've never seen a case were a company confirmed no more production on a CE, then went back and made more. There were plenty of times where fans speculated that something sold out completely, but then later more stock came. But in those cases, the company never confirmed no more was being made.

Wondering if anyone had experience with this..

Pre-ordered 3ds zero escape 3 from Amazon, it's now sold out.

My debit card became unreadable so I got a new one, only thing is that it now has a different security code.

I know Amazon doesn't charge until shipped so if I were to change my payment method on my pre-order will I lose out on my copy? Internet is bringing conflicting results about it. Thanks in advance!

I know Amazon doesn't charge until shipped so if I were to change my payment method on my pre-order will I lose out on my copy? Internet is bringing conflicting results about it. Thanks in advance!

Don't worry, if the card read errors, Amazon actually gives you 3 days to fix it and enter the new numbers. Unlike Target who just cancel on you.

this is pretty much my favorite thing about amazon. I have an old prepaid card that doesn't have any money on it anymore, and I use it for all my Amazon purchases. Not just preorders...in stock deals, or lightning deals ....just order with that card and then I have 3-4 days to decide if I actually want to spend the money or not.
