I cancelled my CE of DBZFighterz from Best Buy.  They call it the Ultimate Edition and Collector's Edition, but everything I've read suggests it's the CE and the UE is a digital exclusive.  I just decided to pre-order the regular edition for $46.99 with GCU and $1 off with store pick-up discount.

My google-fu seems to also say that is around $450. I HIGHLY doubt we get that CE over here. Might get a trilogy steelbook though...

Steelbook is super worth for FFXII. Its such a shame the CE for DragonballZ FighterZ doesn't include the season pass + extras. Could've increased the price maybe $20 but at the end of the day, probably make more money this way. I'll add everything else in a bit, but like it's been mentioned from foreign Amazon websites. Even if it says "Can't Ship to USA", you usually can if its shipped by Amazon.com and not a 3rd party. 

 
Kinda glad the DBZ Fighterz CE doesnt come with the Season Pass, it prevented me from likely buying a shoddy CE that will probably tank in price like all the others too.

Just gonna get the Game and Season Pass day one

Monster Hunter World now adds steelbook to cart. Ordered one for my scorpio cause it's probably going to look amazing. Wonder if ps4 exclusives will be worth getting over better graphics... Never played series, sucker for steelbooks

I pre-ordered my copy of Monster Hunter World online last week before BestBuy.com put up a phyical pre-order bonus with a free steelbook. My order page shows only the game but not the steelbook. My question is will I also get the free steelbook when the game is shipped. Could anyone please clarify this for me?

You should, but BestBuy isn't always the best about updating orders. You can still cancel and re-order now, but if it does ship without the steelbook you'll have to contact customer support and hope you get a good rep.

 
Yeah, they've been very good about updating orders to include promos, I haven't had to cancel anything in over a year now. They always have leftovers as well, so in the off chance you don't get one; they'll take care of you. Just another reason why they're my one-stop shop for most things anymore.

 
I want the steelbook, but this doesn't feel like a day one buy for me. Thinking about just buying the steelbook separately and waiting til Black Friday for the actual game. Trying not to splurge as much this year, I have way too many video games.

Regarding Monster Hunter World from Best Buy ....

Now when you preorder it for PlayStation 4 it only includes the steelbook as a bonus offer. However the Xbox version includes the steelbook and the DLC.

Does anyone know if the DLC is still included with the PS4 version?

Any new on which version is better?
 
I feel that the ps4 pro will have a bigger following. There is that Horizan character skin for the ps4.

However, xbox 1 x is supposed 2 be graphically stronger and faster.

Not sure which one I should get monster hunter world for.

Have friends to play with and what do they play it on? I think it'll run better on X1X to be honest. I have more friends on Xbox that I know are getting it so that's what I'm getting it on. That and I prefer the Xbox controller. If I bought a game and more people were playing it on PS4, but it looked better on Xbox I'd buy it for PS4. I mean when it was OG Xbox and PS4, even if the game ran at 900p on Xbox vs 1080p on PS4 and it was online, if most of my friends were buying it on Xbox then that's what I bought it for.

Get it for the ps4. There have been 2 beta's so far on the ps4 and one coming up on the 18th I believe. So 3 in total, the ps4 fanbase is going to much bigger than the xbox one.

Also this "Asked if there were plans for an Xbox One beta, Tsujimoto replied: "No, we’re focusing on PS4 right now."

 
Monster hunter started on playstation, so maybe I'll just stick with ps4 being that my friends aren't into MH.

I hope they use the speaker on the controller for the online bell / ping like they did on Wii U. (Lol).

Nonethelessthat steelbook does look sweet.I just hope ps4 still give the pre-order dlc that gives u the arumor and bracelet thingy.
 
Monster hunter is not 4 everyone.
It's not a pick up and play / hack and slash game.
Lots of grinding and great boss fights.

Find a good group of hunters and you'll see how u can lose 100's of hours on this game easily.

Is that the wrong reason....or is it the only right one? Why would you care about playing the game when you can look at that sexy steelbook on your shelf? It’s going to look great next to that beautiful Mass Effect Andromeda steelbook.
 
Do you guys think I'll enjoy MH? I never played any recent ones and the only one I did play was the original ps2 one. I found it difficult at the time and never really understood it. I like mmos though with lots of stats and dark souls, grinding, collecting, crafting, adventuring, exploring etc. I have 2 friends whose played every MH on the 3ds that'll show me how to play and how to take down various monsters but I just wonder if it's fun soloing vs coop.
 
I'd definitely say yes but I've been a fan since MH 1 on the PS2.

The best way to get started on this game IMO is with friends that have already been playing it or quickly making friends on the MH community. There is a learning curve to MH and a buddy's insight will definitely keep you going 4 the long run.

Try the monster hunter demo with your friends and decide.

In the meantime ... I've decided 2 get it 4 the PS4. Trust me this game is not for scrubs so I don't suspect that will be an issue on PS4. Plus they get additional DLC and a bigger fan base from Japan. Not too mention there r more PS4s than XB1X out in the wild.
 
Dude, I just saw that the US is getting the MH PS4 Pro at Gamestop only. I feel compelled to get it, but it's so expensive! And, because it's Gamestop exclusive, I don't really see it sitting around store shelves and getting cheaper. Hmm, decisions...

 
I know I asked this yesterday, but can anyone sell me on Monster Hunter World?  Never played a MH game before, but this game looks interesting.  Truth be told, I have hundreds of current gen games, but nothing has been appealing to me lately.  Been looking for that new game that will grab my interest and was curious about this one.

Any input to a new player coming into the MH franchise?

Do you own a Wii U? If so grab the one that came out there and try it out. I've tried to get into the series several times and it just has never clicked for me.

 
Seriously, just try the beta this weekened and see if you like it at all. First two can easily (?) be done solo for you to learn the ropes. Co-op the third, and see if you like that.

I think the benefit is that it's like an MMO raid that takes 10-40 minutes instead of 6 hours after waiting for tanks and healers.

Everything I’ve read says you can solo everything. It’s just whether or not you want to join others and play together.

I don't know if you have enough DPS in the beta to kill the third hunt in the 20 minutes though. I haven't researched it, but I was carried by 3 veterans.

As an MMO vet, I tried the beta and can tell where the game has appeal but it's a little more aZn grindy than I prefer. I'm still torn but kind of want to give it a chance since I've never done the MH thing before.  The game is just lacking a certain spark so far from beta. . .
