O_O Wow, I just got my order in for that 2 days ago. I was really not expecting it to go out like that. That's quite shit. Also Kenshin, you could always just order from gamestop.com, keep the pre-order book, return the game if you have amazon credit or some other reason to get it there over gamestop
Well...looks like Amazon is no longer taking pre-orders of Skyward Sword...really hope this isn't another repeat of re-seller douche baggery like the All Stars game.

I wish Amazon would prevent other 'merchants' from selling new release games until 30 days after release...so these douche bags can eat a month's interest.
I was going to order it today and saw it was sold out. :l. Guess I need to go to Gamestop :/

To those worrying about the Skyward Sword bundle, don't worry about it. Josh confirmed that Nintendo made so much that even they (as in, K-Mart) were able to get some, so I'm not expecting this to be rare. You might as well pick it up at K-Mart instead of Amazon since it'll most likely come with a coupon deal, which is more than can be said for Amazon

to 5 million copies...
til they reprint a million more and suddenly every store has 5 copies

Am I doing it right?

Yeah, It may be like Super Mario All Stars all over again. I can't recall a single Wii release that's truly limited. You have to realize that Nintendo likes to print money.

Metroid Prime Trilogy...
Metroid Prime Trilogy...
It wasn't really all that limited though. It was widely available for three months before Nintendo announced they weren't going to be making any more and even for months after that, it could still be found at Kmart and Toys R Us. It's become a little more valuable than MSRP in the past year, but not much.

just got my batman ce and i really wished they gave you a jewel case or at least the cover art. i have extra cases and it really bothers me that they didnt include it.

With a lot of these selling for nearly twice the MSRP I'd say it's become fairly freaking valuable.
Actually, the average looks like about $70-$80 with a few going higher. Considering the game was $50 to start and Ebay plus Paypal fees are 13%+ and most sellers are offering free shipping, there just isn't much profit to be made here nor has the game really gone up that much in value since it sold out. If it was a couple hundred bucks and rarely up on Ebay I would agree it was "rare", but it seems pretty well available on a daily basis.

I think I read somewhere that they're going to provide the covers so you can print out your own
Just announced at the New York ComicCon, Street Fighter X Tekken Special Edition. Coming out March 6th 2012 (same date as ME3 :/)

- Street Fighter X Tekken game
- Build-It-Yourself Arcade Cabinet Bank (approximately 5”H)
- Exclusive Prequel Comic Book by UDON
- 36 Gems: Includes All Pre-Order Packs Plus An Exclusive Pack
- Pre-Order Bonus: Nine Exclusive Gems Only Available For Pre-Ordering SE
- Total of 45 Gems When You Pre-Order

That bank is amazing! I think I might bite just for that.

WTF is this Gem nonsense?

That stupid-expensive Tekken Hybrid thing is tempting the bejeezus out of me. I don't have any of the TE "S" sticks yet, so I'd get one of those out of the deal, plus I love the super-minimalist design of the stick itself, plus I was going to get Tekken Hybrid anyway just for TTT HD.

If only it were like $50 less, it'd be pretty much guaranteed that I'd buy it.
Square-Enix Europe announce Final Fantasy XIII-2 Pre-Order Exclusive Pack + Steelbook
Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck. . .They better extend this to the US because the FFXII CE I have is fantastic.
WTF is this Gem nonsense?
It's basically character customization. Now, I don't have a problem with the system itself- I think ways of differentiating your playstyle is important, and it's something very few Capcom fighting games allow- the REAL question is "WTF is this pack nonsense?" I'm hoping they're all unlockable in-game, because if you have to pay for them (or even worse, that last one is only available through SE pre-order) I'm officially saying fuck the game and fuck Capcom.
Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck. . .They better extend this to the US because the FFXII CE I have is fantastic.
I wouldn't hold your breath. Squeenix doesn't like releasing CE's in the US. I went ahead and preordered my FFXIII-2 steelbook edition from game.co.uk.

Which one is worth it? Limited Ed. or Crystal Ed.

We're at the mercy of GameStop to get it really, since that's exactly what happened last time. There's still a sliver of hope, so we'll see.

A few things to keep in mind for that. The steelbook is a pre-order bonus. There is no "Steelbook edition". They will ship the LEs to the US, but it clearly states that they will not be shipping the pre-order bonus pack to the US.

Okay added! This thing is so going to cost an arm and a leg:
Wait a minute, what happened to the Tyrael mount for WoW I was promised?! Lol.
You get that mount and a free copy of Diablo 3 when you subscribe to WoW for 12 months now.

I was joking, but that's a shit deal anyway lol.

You are correct, sir. The steelbook is a UK exclusive preorder bonus. Seems US is screwed for getting the steelbook unless you have a buddy in the UK to send you one.

Oh, and that diablo III skull looks ridiculous / awesome.

I want the Diablo 3 art book! But I don't want to spend $100 either (even though it comes with the awesome-looking skull)!

Same thing with the MGS HD CE art book, although $80 is a tiny bit more bearable than $100...
We're at the mercy of GameStop to get it really, since that's exactly what happened last time. There's still a sliver of hope, so we'll see.
We're fucked.
Diablo III CE pre-order up at Amazon.
Hm, I was actually expecting more than 99dollars. I'm pleasantly surprised.

Soul Calibur V cover art case looks really good (like a book :p). Part 4 art cover case was pretty sick, but the goodies inside was a disappointment to me.
How many $100 Blizzard CEs have there been? One?
Original WoW and WC3 are the other two coming to mind.
