Honestly, in those days and before I dont understand how more riots and shoots over products didnt happen...

...back when Nintendo 64 etc. was out, if you didnt get the game, you were short, it was a time before preorder bonuses

...fast forward its 2012 where you can preorder stuff to your house....yet people get killed over Jordan shoes
Pre orders were also deposits that people would forfeit if they cancelled. I think we should go back to that. It would cut down on people reselling/poaching stuff.

Woot! :applause:

I went and pre order Zone of the Enders Limited Edition at gamestop can anyone tell me what it says on the reciept? I just want to make sure the lady put me down for the limited edition.

Another way to check is to look at the six digit number next to the games name under reserve order deposit and put it in at this link http://www.gamestop.com/Catalog/productDetails.aspx?sku= It should bring up the edition you ordered. For example /Catalog/productDetails.aspx?sku=201171

Thanks for telling me how to check appreciate it and It showed up as the limited edition :D
Have to be careful with this gamestop they "lost" my friends pre order and he even showed them the email he received and told them about the phone call he had. They didn't even believe him. The gamestops around me are full of jerks sometimes but I do end up getting a real cool person but that's uncommon now.

CHALLENGE ACCEPTED.

The DS version states the bestiary is 'exclusive' and the cover art is different with respects to the platform label and extra verbiage at the bottom of the 3DS version. Also, the entire image is cropped differently on the sides, which makes one version look bigger when they're the same.

Interesting. With 25,000 total physical copies being shipped, I wonder how many copies there will be of the Larian Vault signed version. Took a flier on it and ordered one.

After shipping and Euro-USD conversion it ran be about $45, not too shabby. The link to the actual LArian Vault storefront in that VG24/7 article isn't formatted correctly. Here is a direct link to the publisher's store and their exclusive signed copy: https://www.larianvault.com/product.php?item=25

I'm still debating about if I should get this and which version. Still have to figure out what I want to put my Phantom Breaker $5 reserve towards.

I dropped my Adventure Time CE pre order and put the credit towards the 999 reprint and The World Ends With You, I figured those will be harder to get later on.

Tomb Raider Collector's Edition and Survival Edition announced:

http://www.ubergizmo.com/2012/10/to...tion-and-deluxe-collectors-edition-announced/

Deluxe: The Deluxe Collector’s Edition will definitely come with the game itself, in addition to a mini art book, a double sided map of the game’s island, and a protective survival pouch. Opening it will reveal a code that allows you to download a digital copy of the game’s soundtrack and a DLC weapon pack.

Survival: will feature all that the Deluxe Collector’s Edition offers apart from the inclusion of a 6″ Play Arts Kai Lara Croft figurine and a “unique Endurance crew member’s metal survival box”. No idea on pricing for either edition though, so sit tight and wait!

Hopefully the Deluxe is still around the $99.99 market with the Survival being about $79.99

I would love all that content, plus the preorder incentives from retailers with a $99.99 price tag on the Survival Edition. However, knowing all that and reading about a figurine and a "metal" box, I think it will most likely range into $129.99 or $149.99 territory. Hopefully, I'm wrong with that judgement, but I know how CE's have been. Hopefully, we get some pictures of it as well soon.

Otherwise, it's a fail.
Must not be on their website yet then. Maybe I'll go preorder in store.
If you're using the GS link in the OP, it's just a bad link. I notice GS links tend to go bad. Just search for "Zone of Enders" and it shows up.
Seemed the Halo 4 Limited Edition was out of stock everywhere online (Amazon, M'soft, Best Buy, GameStop, Target, etc) .... Until Walmart came to the rescue:

NOTE: Tax was about $10 and release day delivery was $2. Hope that helps anybody else who also thought they were SOL.
Sold out now at Walmart.com too... Perhaps this really is limited!

That is why I put italics on "is" in my post. As in maybe this is actually a 'limited' thing.
^ Nice!

Over 999 copies available.
Limited to 1 per account, there monitoring the stock, there is not 999 available. It won't be in stock for long.

https://twitter.com/AlexConserva

It looks like its only 360 that's available. Pretty sure that these are a limited run so if you dont get it now you won't be able to later.

Care Package Edition is available still on Amazon. Get it before its gone for good

Do you guys think it is worth it to buy this just to flip it on eBay. There have been a few Care Packages that have gone for $300 on ebay already...

Just not sure if this will be a 'rare' item. Thoughts?

I've wondered this too. I mean, I know how rabid the CoD fanbase is, but I don't want to risk spending upwards to $200, if I can't make at least a $100 profit off it. I'm sure there are people who buy these Collector's Editions for the sole purpose of flipping them also, so I wouldn't know if the market would be flooded with them or not.

Here is list of completed listings. $300 seems to be the high so far...
http://www.ebay.com/csc/i.html?_sac...k+ops+2+care+package+xbox&LH_Complete=1&rt=nc

I think I will preorder it. Okay, I will. Okay, I did. :)

4 auctions that sold for $10 for his knowledge of the whereabouts of a site still taking pre-orders. lol!!! wtf

Care packages are definitely limited in retail stores, but def going to be flooded on eBay. If you don't have a reputable account it may be a lost cause to try to flip. I suggest to buy only if you are sincerely interested in it for yourself.

Personally I can pass on the gimmicky toys and just go for hardened.

even at $300 this would not be worth it (atleast in my opinion)
First is there really even going to be a huge demand for it at $300? I wouldn't pay $300 for this.
ebay/paypal fees would be over $50
shipping (this thing is 10 pounds) would be around $15, maybe even more if it's oversize plus you would need a signature
Higher money amount attracts more fraud.

IF you were to sell it for $300 you would make around $50 in profit.. but right now the lowest on there is $285 (profit of only $35) and i'm sure it will get lower before going higher and that's cutting it close on the profits. Is there really even a market for it at this high of a price?

I think what I will do is buy it now with an expired credit card and then wait to see what the price is on ebay once it's released.. if it's going higher than $300 i'll update the payment method if not i'll cancel it.... I could possibly even change the shipping address to the buyer if I sell it fast enough.

Stopped by Gamestop and got my pre-order of the Zone of the Enders LE. Never got a chance to play it back in the day, so I'm looking forward to it. I'm already aware the first game isn't regarded that highly but I'm still going in with an open mind.

People bought the first game for the MGS 2 demo included. The game was an afterthought. Remember the days when companies would get people to spend $50 on a demo... oh, wait, they still do. Anyway, I liked the game, and the second one improved in mostly the right directions. From what I remember, the story is ridiculous and makes no sense, but that was the norm for robot games back in the late 90s/early 00s. The controls were good and the graphics, for its time, were good from what I thought. So hopefully a fresh-ish coat of pant and I'll enjoy it. Was going to wait for it to drop personally, but I liked the art book/art in the game so I went in for an LE.

Sometimes the game is a pleasant surprise. I remember buying Crackdown for the Halo 3 Beta invite, but Crackdown ended up be one of my favorite early games for the 360.

Anyone know when the ZoE CE is sold out on Amazon? I don't think I even saw it on Newegg or GS...
