Pretty much this, looks like SE made a limited amount of CEs for this one cause they themselves had low expectations in terms of sales. I actually got a good laugh from reading how people are expecting to get this CE at a discounted sale when it's been pretty much impossible to preorder in the past few weeks. There's usually a pattern showing with SE store exclusive CEs that are overproduced vs underproduced ones. This one shows all the signs of being underproduced.
 
so did Bravely Second CE actually come back at Amazon?  when I got in this morning the there was an add to cart (had page monitor running and didn't turn off).

It popped up around 7pm cst for a few minutes but wouldn't actually add to cart even though the button was there.

 
Looking at the reviews, I'll get it later on. I hoping hoping it would be like DQ9. My kids and I had a blast playing that years ago. We even went to a DQ event at Best Buy and got a bunch of stuff from the rep. We were the only 3 people who showed.

I didn't realize it had sold out and was hard (or not possible) to find because I haven;t really been following it. If I don't get it I won't mind at all, this is probably my least desirable FF game (which at this point isn't really saying all that much).

With the DQH LE I felt that SE was going above and beyond to tell me that they were running out but still had time to order... the same with the FFXIII games and Type-0. This one did not get a chance to prompt an email blast from them. Who knows, there could still be a re-print based on demands.

What sort of "stuff" did you get? I'm a huge DQ fan so if you're selling let me know! :)

Also, sad that we didn't get a restock today of the FFE CE, but also glad because I was in the ER with my son so would've missed them anyway. Everything turned out fine with the little guy, so here's hoping we get a restock soon when people cancel because of the low scores.

Also, I don't recall them doing an email blitz with Type-O CE either, but that "sold out" and then came back in stock (and still is in stock I believe). Its been on sale numerous times as well, so here's to hoping!

I'm guessing it was some in-game treasure maps, probably nothing you could buy but something you could StreetPass. God I miss that game, I should go back to it. It's a shame that the game doesn't support modern Wifi protocols, that's a little bit of a bummer.

So GS marketing now says to get the FE keychains you have to buy both FE Fates Birthright and Conquest. Well I hope the LE counts!

I'll be putting in a pre-order in case I want the (hopefully) steelbook. I already played it on PC and it was fantastic - I just wish the pre-rendered cutscenes were 1080p like they appear to be in the trailer for the Remaster. (It's probably too hopeful to think Sega will update the PC version when this comes out...)

We got sticker sheets, shirts with a king slime on it, large poster and a special map (grotto). We got one for each of us so we cleaned up really nicely. They were very happy to see us and we were more happy. My kids were young teenagers at the time and think we played co op over 100 hours at least.

I bought this for my son at circuit city of all places when it came out for $45. I ended up playing it and loved it. Fantastic story, great graphics and game mechanics. I wish the were remake the sequel from the psp. I didn't like that one as much because iirc correctly, you couldn't have as many squad mates. I was also very attached to the main characters from VC. The DLC was also good on VC1

 
Well, if Amazon wants to bubble mailer the Tomb Raider CE, the box is flimsy and cheap enough, I'm sure they could scrunch that paper thin box into a bubble mailer somehow.

 
The FF Explorers CE outer box is one of the best CE boxes I have ever seen.  Not only is it covered in beautiful artwork, but it is extremely sturdy, thus making it very hard to dent or crease.  Only wish it was more glossy to compliment the artwork, but still a great box.  I'm actually impressed with Square Enix for once.

 
I just got an email from Best Buy saying my Mighty No, 9 Signature Edition release date has been pushed back to 5/31 (I know people are aware of the delay, but maybe not the new date).  It would almost be a letdown for this game to actually release, it's been more entertaining to watch it get pushed back over and over!

I agree... sturdy cardboard FTW. The outerbox that it shipped in was crushed by delivery.. but the inside luckily did not have any damage whatsoever. SE packaging was so damn shoddy on this one.

Yes, you could place a preorder for the Xbox One version a few days ago, but it either went out of stock or they made an error and closed the listing as it has been unavailable for a few days now. I wonder if this is a real LE or just a way to move a statue along with a loose copy of the game?
