Oh lovely. Since Target.com CS is so damn useless, I wouldn't trust them to not screw up the order by changing the CC info. They should keep the old CC # tied to the new one and have existing orders still authenticate to the new card.

Sucks since Dishonored 2 still doesn't have a release date yet save this year.

 
The reason I didnt preorder Division CE cause its UBISOFT. they tend to over produced CEs. And their games price drop pretty quick. Look at Ass Creed, Splinter Cell, Far Cry, Watch Dogs, etc. I guess they learned their lesson this time.

anecdotal and you know that. While the COD BO4 DS4 was/is harder to find the 20th anniversary isn't much further behind and both are light years ahead in scarcity then either of the Halo 5 muckups.

In fact, I see more of the Darth Vader Walmart exclusive DS4's locally then either the BO4 or 20th anniversary.

But just because you "saw them two days ago" doesn't mean they're easy to find and the first thing that should remind you of that is the fact that no major retailer has them in stock for shipping. I believe that ended when BB had DS4's for $40 a few months ago

Are you talking about the 20th anniversary controller? Walmart and Amazon both have them in stock.

Very true. Although in my area, I have spotted 20th at BB, Walmart and Target. The COD one is nowhere to be found though. Darth Vader is in every Walmart I go in. Really though Vader was going to be the super rare one. Shows what I know. Lol

They were OOS on amazon; good to see they're selling them again but my only caveat is when they came back in stock in February I bought one (sold and fulfilled by Amazon; NOT 3rd party) it was NOT a U.S. retail version; it had French all over the packaging so I'm guessing it was the Canadian counterpart.

While on that topic I'm currently in a back and forth with Amazon because that's been happening a lot lately where I'm receiving items sold and fulfilled by Amazon that are from other regions (BO4 DS4, 20th DS4, OOT 3DS, Fire Phone Case).

Edit: Someone in a thread I created who had a family member work for Amazon said lately they have been taking over inventory from FBA sellers and selling it as their own and/or using it to fulfill their orders when more cost effective so essentially they're only as good as their weakest 3rd party FBA seller when it comes to older inventory that comes back in and out of stock

Amazon.com is a recent thing; I have been tracking these for awhile and they were both out of stock for awhile.

Furthermore I am wary of buying things like this from Amazon.com when they are OOS for long periods of time and then come back in stock. Clearly it could mean a restock, or that they found a pallet in some warehouse, but apparently they have been absorbing inventory from FBA sellers and using it to fulfill their (amazon.com LLC) orders.

I would guess that some companies print their games with English/French/Spanish titles and instructions all-in-one so they don't have to manufacturer different version for Canada, U.S. and Mexico. But there are instances where they do make different versions and lately ones from outside the U.S. have been showing up in my Amazon orders. To each their own if it matters or is bothersome though

Edit: I want to beat everyone to the punch; I placed many many many many orders from Amazon.com each year and am WELL AWARE of the difference between items sold and fulliflled by amazon.com LLC and those sold by 3rd parties or even sold by a 3rd party but fulfilled by amazon (FBA). I have been getting a lot of inventory sold by and fulfilled by amazon.com LLC that is showing up with what looks like the 3rd party/FBA stickers over the UPC. In another thread it was mentioned that Amazon has by absorbing inventory from the marketplace.

^ Thank you. I figured it was that simple. Also, thanks for confirming what I had believed. Both the 20th and BO3 were sold out for awhile and came back in and out of stock in December/January. I remember seeing them back in stock and bought one (again, sold by and fulfilled by Amazon.com LLC) and that's when I got the ones with the French text added, obviously not U.S. retail when the U.S. retail version has no french text.

I stopped looking a month or so ago when I just assumed they were going to be OOS / OOP but here they are with more. It could be a reprint but that'd mean we'd start to see them at other retailers so who really knows.

I think you're missing the point. It has nothing to do with the text on the packaging... it's the fact that amazon is importing items from other sales regions and selling them through their .com. This could have warranty and/or compatibility consequences. Obviously with the items I listed it won't, but it's still obnoxious they are taking items that are supposed to be sold/marketed in Canada and selling them or at the very least using them to fulfill orders on their .com (U.S.) website. I'm not sure the legality of that, it's probably gray (pun intended), but to me it's upsetting because I'm not receiving what was advertised.

Canada requires everything be English & French so sometimes to cut costs a game will just have both on them. Namco Bandai does this all the time on their standard releases.

I'm sure those are all for the NA region (notice the ESRB as opposed to PEGI on the Zelda case?). Which means they can be sold in the US without any issues. Just because there may be US specific versions, doesn't mean NA versions can't be sold in the US. It's not like these are EU copies.

I wonder what Best Buy ever did with the MOUNTAINS they had of those right after xmas. Right before the new year I would regularly see 20-30 at every Best Buy store. Then they completely vanished from every store when they cut back their stock to non-holiday levels. They had to have gone somewhere and not just for their website as I've seen product vanish from the stores like this before and still remain oos online. Retail is a weird beast.

 
I saw a 20th anniv. controller at my local Target the other day. I think it was MSRP so I was fine leaving it there. That said, there were also some great UMD movies, Sky High with Kurt Russell and Legend of Zorro for only 20 bucks a piece.

I don't have much experience with NIS America preorders, but these are the levels left listed on their site:

Republique CE - 11-25% left

Nights of Azure CE- 0-5% left

Grand Kingdom and Stranger of Sword City just say in stock for preorder with no percentage given.

Sorry I never go into BB except to pick up something so I was going by what I see at local GS, WM, & Targets.

I received my Mega Man Statue with E-Tank from Amazon late last week.  It came with the PS4 Mega Man Legacy Collection packed in.  Strange.

I ended up getting $5 + $35 = $40 in free gift cards from Amazon just to wait for a 1-2 week delay.  Thanks Amazon.  They didnt need to do that.

They're probably both pretty well stocked since Amazon has those too, and I assume a large number of people probably just went that route since 20% (40% for many :D) off and free shipping.

Got an email today that my Hotline Miami Special Edition from GamersEdition shipped out on the 10th.  Expected to arrive tomorrow.

This thing got delayed for quite a looong time so happy to finally see it.  I'm curious if Gamers Edition ends up trying to do any more campaigns after this since 2 of the 3 they have tried failed to get funded and this one took forever.  That one they tried for Kerbal looked pretty damn cool.  The one for Papers, Please looked depressing as hell which I guess is an accurate representation of the game.

I'm curious if Gamers Edition ends up trying to do any more campaigns after this since 2 of the 3 they have tried failed to get funded and this one took forever. That one they tried for Kerbal looked pretty damn cool. The one for Papers, Please looked depressing as hell which I guess is an accurate representation of the game.

Mine shipped too. I was very disappointed in the Kerbal and Papers, Please campaigns as those didn't even include a physical copy of the game. That and the price were probably key to both of those campaigns failing.

 
So is the Stranger in of Sword City LE only for :vita:?  Is the :xb1: not getting a physical release?
