[SIZE=+1]Three important notes[/SIZE] (please read these before posting questions):

[SIZE=+1]1)[/SIZE] Most of the prices listed below will not be shown on the games at any given Kmart. Chances are if you can find them (and they don't have restickered UPCs - see point 3 below) they will ring up at one of the clearance prices listed. The best way to check it is to bring a UPC sheet with you and use the floor scanners to verify the pricing before you ask the Kmart associate to open the case.

[SIZE=+1]2)[/SIZE] Kmart price drops are generally national in scope. However, each store must process the price drops individually. While the price drops originate from corporate, different stores have wildly different ways of dealing with them. Some will implement them immediately, some weeks later, and some, it seems, never. Also, there are occasional glitches in the pricing where a game that is otherwise on clearance will ring up at full price at certain stores.

OK, on to the prices...

The wonderful thing about Kmart is that they combine dirt-cheap clearance pricing with a general lack of organization. Thus CAGs in the know, hopefully using info from this thread, can find some amazing deals.

First off, here's the UPC database list as created by Slash and updated by MightySlacker: http://kmart.slashbunny.com/. Use this to verify pricing in your local Kmart.

The prices are organized alphabetically and by system (thanks again to ShiningSlade for starting it off this way). What we are currently missing is a good list of accessories. I have added a few that I know about. We need more info on these (and there must be more to uncover).

In general, I'm sticking with ShiningSlade's method of listing games. However, there are a few changes. Since the exact pricing is so YMMV, and many games ring up at 2 or 3 different clearance prices I will list all of these separated by slashes, with the cheapest first. For example: Psychonauts $3/$14/$24. I am also adding a bit to the color coding - see below:

i just got back from a Kmart i dont live around anymore.

Looks like things finally dropped in price there that ive been waiting for.

Got 2 copies of DarkStalkers for $3 and 1 Medieval Resurrection for $4. Also got two sets of Donkey Konga Jungle Beat for $5. Yay

i went to both kmarts within 5 miles of my house. the first one had nothing, they had a game rack ou of the case but they all rung up in the 14.99-19.99 range. I went to the second K-mart and found a clearance shelf. It was the same there, all the games rang up the same proce the sticker did.

Did they have a big, colored price sticker on the front and a UPC sticker at the back? If so, they were the 'holiday' games that came in a display for the holiday season.

The clearance games in this thread are the ones that don't have those stickers. They have usually been sitting inside the glass case and collecting dust since release.

Those games might be on the clearance list, however. Its just the extra stickers that disallow them from ringing up the price you want. For instance, there were a bunch of Rumble Roses stickered $14.99 or whatever. I saw one without the sticker and got happy for a sec.....until i saw that the wrapper was missing and the game disc was stolen. Whoops.
 
I found a K-mart that has a few mteroid prime pinballs but thats pretty much the only game on clearance that I know of. It has alot of oldish GBA games though, might have to check them out. Everything has a sticker on it, told the stupid manager to scan MPP when he said " this is $24.99" and it came up $3.50. heh he didn't say anything after that. MPP is much worth it.

There were a few other titles as well that I can't recall, but that's the majority of them for this month. Nothing too interesting to me at least. If the price drops more, I may consider rebuying Bubble Bobble(I returned my first copy after making it to the game ending glitch in an hour), since at least now you can send the glitched copies to Codemasters to get them replaced. But then again I've heard the game's terrible anyway(and if the first 30 levels are any indication, it is an awful game).
 
Bubble Bobble Revolution is an absolutely terrible game and I recommend everyone avoid it at all costs. I thank my lucky stars some misguided soul on Goozex wanted it for the same amount of points it took to get Rocket Slime. Talk about a step up.
 
Bubble Bobble Revolution has a bug that makes it unplayable after level 30 however if you contact the manufacturer about the problem they will replace your copy with a functioning one.
 
Stopped by the other day. No sign of Animal Crossing, however they did have a few of the Spyro double packs, so Metroid for $12 along with some other shitty game isn't such a bad deal.

If sprung is $2 though I may go back and grab the few copies they have just to get the cases.
 
Good work Sugar. That's a good 2x pack for the money. Especially considering how expensive Harmony of Dissonance GBA is stand-alone.

Folks, you may want to check to see what price the sony ps2 headsets are. My local K had about five or six a month ago and they're completely gone now. I have no idea if they dropped or what, but it seems possible.
 
I picked up a platinum wavebird for $18. Last one, though they did have some plain grey ones left. You may want check those at your local Kmart. That was the first Kmart I noticed them at, so I don't know how YMMV that price is.

I thought wavebird went out of the system long time ago. Did it ring up that way or they thought of a price for it?

I think that's MSRP on that one now - it seems to be that price everywhere. I will add the $20 PSP games into the list this weekend. It is hard to get too excited over $20 PSP games, though ;).

Brian - those look new to me, I'll add them in later too. I assume these are actually ringing up a full $20, and not $19.99 (the difference being the even dollar amount indicates clearance while the $xx.99 indicates a regular price drop, which I don't want to put in the OP)?

I'll confirm FFXI 360 is $20.00. Saw it like that at more than one Kmart now.

It rang up that way. It was stickered for $24.00, so the 18 was a bonus.

At $12 I would have bought all of them, just to give as gifts or trade.
 
Yeah, the 360 version of FF XI was one of the games on the newest PLC list. Also that game I listed as Rogue Agent, I got the title wrong. It's Rogue Trooper.

Anyone have a UPC for Megaman ZX? They've been gone at my store for a long time, and I'd likely pick it up for $20.
 
I can confirm the Xbox system w/ Forza for $126.

I picked one up last night, they had 3 left when I got there. A couple of weeks ago they had about seven and I almost bought one at full price. The wait saved me $53.

Picked up Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance for $10 tonight. Good find.

I also saw a 3 Month Xbox Live starter kit (included headset and stuff) for $24 but didn't know if it was worth it. It's for old Xbox.

TRU cleared the 3 months for 10 and CC has a 13 month card for 40 both of which have a better per month rate. The old live stuff can be used on 360 live by the way.
 
I spotted Tomb Raider:Legend for the 360 for 20 bucks along with other titles that have already been posted.

Finally picked up the $12 Spyro/metroid Bundle today They have a shitload more if anyone wants to work out a deal.

Also, they had F-Zero GP Legend but it wouldn't ring up so they said "29.99" going off the sticker on the box. Right.

Would be willing to trade the Metroid Combo for Animal Crossing DS.
 
i lucked out with the Metroid/ Spyro packs, i was only interested in the Metroid games and threw two of the Spyro games up on ebay and they sold for $10 each.

might be a thought if you guys are just interested in the Metroid half.

Wow, thanks for the heads up. It looks like it's listing clearance prices for games for all the systems, although most are out of stock. I am tempted by Obama for $12, but the shipping is $6.25.

I just rechecked the game pages too and yeah, most of the games are OOS, but those that aren't are some decent titles.

Let's just hope those titles are listed as OOS due to site updating and not lack of stock. Now, if someone could just find a shipping code for Kmart.com to reduce the higher than usual shipping cost.

Edit: I think they must have the same person doing the updates for Sears site too, since there's several glaring game errors on there. The best one being Star Wars Starfighter with a pic of the box from MK Armageddon.

But, at least they're trying to put up the clearance prices on Kmarts site at least.

Which decent games are you finding that are in stock? All I see are LOTR 3rd Age for Xbox and GBA for $2 apiece. But shipping at $6.26 kills it :bomb:. (Oh, and I'm only looking at stuff under $10).

Well, I also meant Mercenaries, which was a great sandbox type game. However, yeah, the shipping kills any kind of deal on the games. Do they charge the $6.26 per game or per order? If they charge per order and you grab 3-4 games, it wouldn't be TOO bad, though still NOT as cheap as grabbing them in store.

EDIT: I just did a lil experiment, and up till you add that 13th item, the $6.25 seems to cover your entire order. However, I only did the experiment by upping the number of copies of a single game(LOTR TTA for Xbox). At the 13th item, the shipping jumps to $7.50.

I don't know, I just tried one game and saw the shipping... Yeah, I forgot Mercenaries, but I'm not interested for more than $2 ;). Anyway, in case anyone is interested LOTR Third Age for GBA is also available. So it looks like 3 $2-$3 games are showing in stock :lol:.

Ok, it does appear the $6.25 is per order - or at least it stayed that way with 2 items. :lol: - just saw your edit. I tried 2 different games and I still had $6.25. So not bad if you want all 3 for some reason.
 
My Kmart outside Atlanta is crap. Got the Metroid/Spyro pack for $12 and the 360 silver faceplate for $5. Killswitch was 10 instead of 2, but I think it had a sticker on it from the Christmas sale games (the rack disappeared, but I bet this was one of those games mixed in with the rest). I think there was a Ninja Gaiden Black, but I forgot about it when I finally found someone to open the case. By the way, she had to be the nicest and most helpful KMart employee I've dealt with in a decade. She was happy to share the following:

She told me that tomorrow (Friday 3/30) morning the store was "going to get a list from corporate" that they would use to put a bunch of games "on sale." She specified that they were to be removed from the cases and put on a table in the electronics department. I had yet to discover this site when KMart clearancing of games hit full swing so I don't know if that's how it's been done before. Anyway, maybe they saw Best Buy get rid of all of their games so fast and now they're following suit? One can only hope. Most likely it's just a new round of price drops.
 
I'm hoping this means Ninja Gaiden Black will FINALLY get the next drop to either $10 or $5 or even $7.50 I'd take it for. Alas though, as Chibi Robo has already disappeared en masse from my local Kmarts. :( That's the ONLY other game I was waiting for the next price drop to buy.

Could this be related to the recent clearence price postings on the website? Something is going on with kmart...I think I am going to print lists of all these games and see if I can find anything. The store prices should reflect the online prices, if not I'll just see if I can PM.
