OK, here is my final predictions. Most of you should be happy. There were quite a few matchups that were upsets. I included two other prediction sites, as well as a simmed season of Madden 07 with the updated rosters.

Kinda funny how some of the records on Madden are wacked out. NE 15-1? But, it was the exact same result in the Super Bowl as in real life last year. Weird.

Madden always rates wrong for the most part. I mean torry holt is tied for the highest ranked WR in the game, and whats up with their ratings for Broncos? I mean the last 2 years they were playoff teams and there still rated below 80.(On the psp version the rating are retarded, the broncos defense is a 85 and the offense is a 90, but the overall is 76. wtf?

Edit: umm i think you messed up. for the playoffs you put in San Diego, shouldn't it be Denver???(I'm just going the the way you put everything up)

Look under the 'Final' column.

very good game by both teams. culpepper melted down in the 4th qtr pretty badly but its against the pitts defense. i couldnt believe my eyes when heath miller did the corner post route and how fast he was smokin' the dolphin's secondary. also, i'm glad i had started hines ward tonight for my fantasy team.
why are there 2 mnf games?
It was the proposed change to the schedule for when ESPN got ahold of MNF. It's been known since before the schedule was released.
why are there 2 mnf games?
It's opening weekend. Why not?

BTW, everyone knows the NFL Network will have Thursday games starting on Thanksgiving, right?

that fucken sucks. there goes one of my very few chances to watch a niner game down here.

WEEK 15Thursday, Dec. 14 GAMETIMESan Francisco at Seattle8:00 p.m.

edit: looking at the nfl schedual, starting the week 10 they will select who plays on sunday night. (anyone know the process of this? Like when they have to decide by?)

their is a saturday game in the last 3 weeks. (all on the nfl network)
And 2 mnf games on week 16.

fuck the nfl network.

whats they best way to experience the game when you dont live near your team? The only way I could think of is the live states on espn.com. Anyone know of anysites that let you stream the radio broadcast of the game and is free?

I can't watch my beloved 49ers so I have NFL Ticket.

Don't worry if Antonio Bryant or Alex "Poor Decisions" Smith does something, i'll give you the heads up.
dont you live around the bay area?
I did, 415, San Francisco, Inner Richmond District.

Now i'm WA. fuckin' Seahawks.
bah, i really wish abc kept MNF. Now I have to go to a bar or a friend's house to watch the game. :(
But you get Sunday night games on NBC. It's a trade-off.

I take it you just saw that interception?
That, and he looks like a scared kitten out there. As soon as Culpepper went on the trading block they should have swapped Simms (and maybe a late draft pick) for him.
I thought Chris Simms was overrated when they started him over Major Applewhite at Texas.
Gotta agree with you there. He's lucky his dad was good. The other thing about the Bucs that bothers me is that they have no back-up QBs; Tim Rattay and some other guy I have never heard of. I even had to do the unthinkable and sign Kordell Stewart as a back-up in Madden 07. :hot:

OMFG fuck CHRIS SIMMS. That interception would have been excusable if it were the only tipped pass of the game, but it was like the fifth. This moron telegraphs every throw.

I didn't even realize Kordell was still in the league. I used to sign him in Madden as a back-up too (just for his ability to scramble though).

I usually try to trade for Seneca Wallace (2nd-string QB on the Seahawks) because he is a fantastic scrambler and a decent QB. However, no matter what I do I can't get a hold of him - he's an awesome back-up.
The other game they have on in my area is ATL vs. CAR.

TB just looks stagnant out there.
I have the exact same games on here. Both are pretty uninteresting.

Whoa, when did James Brown start working for CBS? I thought it was weird he wasn't on the Fox pre-game show but I only saw the end of that so I thought maybe he was just sick or something.
Trent Green just got knocked the fuck out.
Whoa, they just showed it during a game break on the ATL/CAR game.

Man, I hope he's ok.

Oh well, there's always the Jaguars...hope they don't suck. I was surprised to hear that Jimmy Smith retired, I thought he still had a few good years left in him.

Same here. Well that and the fact he is on my fantasy team, but his health is way more important.

And it figures, Charlie Frye has a big day when I started Hasselback over him and Green.

Atleast Rudy has done something for me so far. Gotta pull for Arizona's D/ST, Rackers, Chester Taylor, Antonio Gates, and Matt Jones to have huge days.

The football gods now hate the 49ers, Jennings and Allen both hurt and look like serious injuries.

Edge is playing really shitty.

Did the Intentional Grounding rule get changed over the off season? It was called on Kurt Warner because he threw the ball away with his left hand when a lineman grabbed his right hand to sack him. The refs called it on him because the pass was thrown with an unnatural motion. This happened outside of the hash marks, so that shouldn't have been part of it either.

This says nothing of the motion being a factor.

Wow helluva game. Key mistakes by the 49ers, which led to the loss, i'm impressed by the 3 headed monster of Boldin,Fitz, and Johnson. Edge on the other hand..

edge fucken sucked. who was the cag that said that he would destroy the niners?

niner put up a good fight. Glad I was able to see the last few minutes of the game. And that unsportmanlike conduct call was fucken lame.

Yeah, that Bryant call was b.s., because it was more pointing at him, because Green threw him down out of bounds. But, bitching at the refs gets absolutely nowhere.

If you need a good re-cap of the game DT here it is:

Smith played amazing

Gore is the future

Vernon Davis played ok, he caught the one TD which was nice, the fumble wasn't his fault really, he was trying to make something out of nothing, but did drop a huge 1st down catch in the endzone.

Bryant was non-existent for the first half but got his shit together late.

Our secondary blows, but we were facing Fitz and Boldin.

Sammy Davis dropped an INT which was thrown to him.

Gore fumbled.

Arnaz Battle had a huge return.

All, in all i'd give the game a 7/10 for us, some improvement on D needs to be made.

That 81 jersey was getting to him. He was being an asshole and taunting the CB covering him after the play was over. He absolutely deserved the call.

So Green drags him down to the ground, when he's out of bounds, and he points at him, and the flag is called?

Could've gone either way.

I assume you didn't watch the whole game, because Green sucker punched him twice after a TD play was over.

Still doesn't excuse him from being a dick and costing his team yeards when they're still down by 10 points.

10 points.

If the running game both on the offensive and defensive side for Indy isn't cleared up, they're in for a long season. Manning gets an even larger load on his shoulder. Though I like the way Addai finishes off his runs better than Rhodes.

I'm kinda hoping Eli leads the Giants down on their last drive coming up. It'd make for one hell of a game.

Well, that was a dull way to end the game.

Dude, I am really worried about the Colts. They just didn't play that good, but I can see the Giants as being one of the better teams this year. Colts couldn't stop their running game, and the offensive line wasn't doing that good either protecting Manning. I will admit this game was freaking exciting, just sloppy.
