Be aware that not all Sears are alike, so prices are definitely YMMV.
List
  • date = date posted or updated
  • cp = current price
  • opp = old posted price
  • (oos) = out of system
  • * = posted at different prices (more than twice, most are)
Colors
  • white = current update
  • dark gray = old (ie. out of stock items)
if the prices are not updated in over a month, it will be colored as dark gray.

notes:
  • Don't turn this into your own trade list. Don't ask people if they want to trade X game for your Y game. PM is the best way to ask. Do your trading on the Sears Trade Thread.
  • Print UPC-A barcodes if you're having a hard time getting someone to open the cases for you. If you need UPCs refer to Half.com (just type the name of the game) or to io's kmart clearance thread. Go to either UPCDatabase.com or Barcodesinc.com to generate a UPC A barcode.
  • If you bring up a game and the employee scans it and does not show up in the system, it is most likely that the item has been pulled out of their inventory (most of us would call it 'out of system'). What this means is that the item must be returned to the manufacturer (so they were told anyways, but i don't believe it..). You can try to get them to sell it to you for the stickered price shown or maybe lower. It depends on the employee or manager.
  • Some of you are confused as to why some games are priced and rung up at retail prices but its listed below as clearanced at their respective clearance prices. Heres a good example:
    • 100607 ... 01.97 ... 09.97 ... Dead or Alive 4 (Non PH) *
    • ^^^^^ notice how the last reported price was October 6, 2007. The Platinum Hits version was also on clearance since it shared the Regular version's barcode. But they put the price back up in retail a few months later. Hence you still see the game now as retail instead of clearance.

Yes. Although as has been said 10,000x throughout all of these store clearance threads, the prices are YMMV. For example, a store that I visited 2 months ago had 2 copies of Bioshock for the PS3 in stock, but they were ringing up $29.99 each.

I went back there a month ago and BOTH copies were gone and the price in the system had FINALLY dropped to $4.97.

So, while you may find some of this stuff, it may NOT be the current price that's been reported on in this thread.
 
Yeah the prices are definitely YMMV, I found diner dash for $5 at a local Sears but others have reported it as 1.97 and some even reported that it is still at 19.99.
 
Thanks everyone. Went to my local sears. All out of memory cards, HDDs, Vision cams, and Eye of Judgments. They did have :360::ps3: Rock Bands for $15. Picked up one of each. Will use the game :ps3: guitar and mic to complete another set I have, and trade the rest.

Does anyone know where you can trade them?

I traded in a RB1 PS3 set for $48 store credit at a local place in Ohio, but you probably don't have it unless you are in Ohio or Pennsylvania.

Buyback$ takes them too if you have one of those near you.

You know, if my local Sears didn't sell out of the two PS3 bundles they had, I would've called them on the 'extra 50% off' signs they had in the $19.99 and under 'clearance bin' and saw if I could've picked up BOTH for $15. :lol:

But someone bought both of them, which is good for me since I only wanted them to put up on Craigslist anyway.:D

At least there's one more left at the other Sears by me. I wonder if they have a '50% more off clearance' sign around electronics anywhere?
 
All the clearance games now went UP normal price. Checked out 3 sears stores and no GO :( (Independence, Sears Grands (Lees Summit), and Antioch Mall in Missouri).

Grabbed Folklore for 2.97. Diner Dash DS went up in price. It was $4.97 over the summer I saw another one today at the same store so I figured it was 0.97 by now. 19.99!
 
Well, someone cleared out my local Sears of :ps3: Eye of Judgement sets. It had ben $16.97 for months ... it dropped to $7.97. I could not get to Sears until today, and all 4 sets (that had been behind the glass) were gone.
 
grabbed the last 1gb psp memory stick for 1.97 and grabbed some ds save data thing for 1.98 in fort wayne

WTF happened to all of the ds and psp games sears had.. theyhad like 300 now like 50

Someone did the same thing at my Sears in the Chicagoland area. They also got the 3 EoJs at TRU that were locked up and marked 69.99. It had to be a CAG or an SDer.
 
Took my wife's car to Sears to get a Bolt-Out set for a trashed bolt in my car. Before I left I checked the electronics section, and there were 2 360 DDR3 bundles there for $4.97 each. Grabbed both because KMarts and Sears deals around me are becoming rarer.
 
Went to 2 stores. Found a couple blue and red ps2 memory packs 1.97. Items in the clearance bin scanned at full retail lol. PS3 Rock Band SE bundle 67.xx....SEARS is definitely drying up.
 
Just happened to run across a random copy of Transformers Animated for the DS. Ran up $1.97 (with August clearance sticker on the side). First decent pickup in months.... :p
 
Managed to find MGS4 at another Sears today. Asked the electronics employee to scan it, and he did a search of the Sears website instead: "It's $29.99." I asked him to please scan it anyway, and he insisted that the price on the website and the price in the store were the same. I told him that I didn't think that was the case, and asked him again. He finally relented (though he looked annoyed) and went to get the key for the case -- it took him forever to get it (I think he decided to wait on a few other customers in the meantime), but he finally came back and we got it out -- what do you know, $19.97. "Damn, were there any more copies?" he said. "Nope, I don't think so," I replied.

So apparently now on top of everything else we're going to have to contend with employees trying to check the website for price info instead of scanning (really, is it that much more effort?). I'm almost sad that I alerted him to the fact that the prices on the games in the case are not necessarily the same as those on the web, but I guess it was unavoidable.

Damn. It's $7.97 now? I know of a store that has 4 of the EOJ bundles on the magnetic hook thing and they're still clearly marked $70 or whatever original MSRP was.

I guess I have to swing by that Sears again soon, but maybe they'll hold out for ANOTHER drop cycle and be like $1.97 next month.:lol:

What can I say, I don't wanna spend too much on shit that's just gonna linger forever.

Hey, that's one of my favorite Sears, and I ain't never seen no Ninja Gaiden 2 there (got mine in East Northport months ago for $10). Their clearance bin sucks though, it's mostly $30 games. But maybe this means they brought out some more stuff, hmm.

Off topic, but i used to live in East Northport!!..Larkfield rd. i believe.. Car was broken into twice,lol...good times. I still love NY tho. Originally from the Queens/Brooklyn area. My pop owns a body shop in Huntington station (Cavalier auto body) right off rt.110 near the Walt Whitman mall, so if ya ever need some top quality work done, tell em Mike sent ya :)

I got one today for just .97 plus tax. They only had one in stock, or I would have bought more.
 
Picked up a Wii SD card for $1.05 after tax.($.97 before)

It was marked at $10, so the guy was a little shocked when it rang up for that, but not much since the $10 tag was from April or August.

Good price, but pointless for me. I would buy it, play it, get stuck because it is too hard, and never play it again.
 
Went out today looking for the Rock Band SE sets. No luck on that front, but I did find three Xbox 360 512 MB Memory Units for $1.97 each! Picked up one for myself and one for my friend. Other one probably won't last long, cashier seemed surprised considering it was still marked $49.99 on the rack tag and on the item itself. This was at the Florida Mall location in Orlando, FL.
 
As some have previously reported several games were actually taken off clearance and put back to MSRP. And this was at specific stores that actually had the titles on clearance last month. For example, Diner Dash DS was raised from $9.97 to $19.99 and Condemned 2 (360) was raised from $4.97 to $39.99. I did however get Straglehold (PS3) for $1.97, Blacksite: Area 51 (360) for $2.97, and Tony Hawk's Project 8 (PSP) for $4.97.
 
OK....apparently someone was dead serious when they said they were going to hit my local Sears stores and grab the Rock Band bundles, since all three that were in stock locally are GONE now.

Oh well...like I said before, I didn't really want them to keep for myself.

I went to Sear's yesterday and didn't find anything. The only "deal" I could find was the Wii power adapter from a third party for $4.97 and Lost In Blue :ds: for $9.xx. For some reason Lost In Blue would not scan, so I had to ask so I don't know the exact price.

Also decided to ask if they had any 360 hard drives and they looked in the back, but no luck :(

Ever since getting my first set of deals at Sears, I've never found anything again, I thought that the Sears I went to would be a good one to find stuff at, but it seems they are either not keeping up with the sales now, or you have to be there immediately after stuff is marked down to get it.
 
Very glad I did my rounds this evening. Scored 1x Vision Cam (360), 1x 512MB Memory Card (360, looks like it comes with a Worms game) - each for $1.97.

The almost big win for me, however, is: 1x Rock Band SE (PS3) for $14.97

They actually had a pink clearance sticker on all of the $19.99 and under games that were out on a shelf across from the cases now, even though some were NOT on clearance. There was zip, zero, zilch, nada, nothing left that I'd actually want. What a waste. This store went from being a goldmine to being a desert in 2-3 months.

But since I know some were looking for it, they had Jeane D'Arc for PSP with an October sticker on it for $11.97(one copy).

My local Sears still has Jeanne D'Arc at $29.99 (scanned). Looks like another one of them YMMV titles.
