You already asked once and that was one too many.
Members will post locations if they choose to, most do not as within hours, all stock is usually wiped out and it becomes next to impossible to find anything in the future.
You have the option to privately pm any member and ask the location... and who knows, you might receive a reply that helps you...

OK Mr. Perfect. I have seen members share their store locations in their posts. Don't make it sound like a federal crime to ask.

I think he's more getting at the double post than the location request.
Please help a fellow CAGer. Which Store locations have you visited and did they have multiple copies of the clearance games you found? I am going to some in Maryland and don't want to waste time and gas on stores that don't have any clearance games left. Thanks.
I checked most Sears from DC to the bay bridge and there are not many clearance games so I wouldn't waste your time with those.
That's the point of the thread? Why do you care?
Keep them coming. I like to hear other people are finding stuff, means theres still hope for me in the desert of clearance deals I live in.
Yeah, if only there was a thread somewhere, that you could post what you found at Sears stores, on clearance......that would be amazing!
The point of this thread isn't to brag about what you bought. Nothing you posted hasn't been reported already. You also aren't posting where you got the stuff. Hell, you could at least report which stores you are cleaning out.
Listing the 4 or 5 games he bought for cheap isn't bragging. Talking about the 9 copies of Guitar Hero Metallica he picked up or how somebody spent $300 a month on clearance games to resell....now that's out and out bragging/showing off. El Hoardo gets no love from me.
So did anyone go to Sears today and had an employee talk on the mic repeatedly about giving free items? they were doing some promotion. i got a free microcloth. lol. but i got bored and left.
I have heard that about some free kitchen knife, they wanted you to watch some demonstration and I guess try to sell you some appliance that they were demonstrating.
Scanned the barcode for Lips at my local Sears, still full MSRP, and it has been that way for weeks now.
One store near I keep checking every month has had it for $49.99 as long as I can remember. It's just one of those games that will probably never drop in price at that store. Just like Battalion Wars 2 for Wii, it's been $19.97 since February 2009!

Cleaning out? I bought 1 of each game. Jesus, find some other forum to whine in. And even if I was bragging, so what? You must be sad that you aren't getting in on the flipping goodness

I don't see it is bragging. It keeps things fresh for people following this thread to knnow what is on clearance. How hard do you want to mak this thread. The original post doesn't get updated as it is. How hard should we make it to share information about the clearances at Sears? We know people will not give up their stores easy but now we should hold back the games too.
"I saw some stuff on clearance at some store that I don't want anyone to know about" I can't wait for these posts.
Is this game any good???
It is very hard and despite the outwardly kiddy appearance (the game is beautiful to play) it gets quite difficult in the later stages and in the challenge levels. It's easily worth the $5 you'll pay for it at Sears.
The more people that confirm finding things, the better. Sears is well known to have random games that only drop at certain stores. Only one out of the 15+ stores ive been to dropped Cranium Bukkake & Call Of Duty 3, even though every Sears has had them since they came out.
My friends, I have hit a jackpot. One store:
Red Bull (DS) 4 x .27
Final Fantasy IV (DS) 2 x 2.97
Rock Revolution (DS) 1.97
Bakugan Battle Brawlers (PS3) 2 x 4.97
Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 (PS3) 4.97
Lego Rock Band (PS3) 4.97
Muramasa (Wii) 2 x 4.97
Tony Hawk’s Proving Ground (PS3) .47
Stuntman Ignition (360) .47
Viva Pinata (360) 1.97
Spyborgs (Wii) 1.97
Medieval Games (1.97)
Total 48.39
DiRT 2 (360) 9.97
Hot Shots Golf: Out of Bounds (PS3) 2 x .97
Total 12.62
Would you call that cleaning out? You still haven't listed the stores.
Is this game any good???
It's a solid game with a number of mediocre boss fights. The rest of the game is worth experience despite that, though.

Now, if you keep posting you picked up Bread Baker 2000 @ 4.97 at one location and then another, and 4 copies of Game Flipper Sim Extreme @ 2.97 and they're already well established drops, yeah that's annoying. It is VERY much appreciated when that's kept to a minimum. It's nothing more than meaningless drivel to have to read through when one is attempting to find new information.
On the other side, new CAGs and those who have never had much success in clearance hunting get excited when they finally find some great deals, and they want to share their excitement. So go easy on those reporting their first big scores.

In your nearly three years here, have you ever listed which store(s) you bought your clearance games at, only to go back the next month to find that any remaining scraps you left behind are gone and that in subsequent months those same shelves are cleared out just as quickly?
I HAVE. That is why I always say 'my local (Sears, Kmart, Target, TRU) store'. I learned my lesson when I mentioned that a local Kmart had 5-7 copies of Baten Kaitos left after I grabbed one. I went back the next day to grab a few more for other CAG's and the spot in the case where they were the day before was empty.
So yeah, I can't blame others for not wanting to reveal their location they find deals at. Then again, if you pay attention to my posts closely enough, I've either dropped hints where I'm at or out and out said it before.
His point isn't that people MUST post locations. He's saying that if you're not going to post the location, then constantly saying "Got Viva Pinata for $1.97" helps nobody at all and just clutters shit up.
There's a fine line between spreading information and celebrating a nice score and just being redundant and useless.
Oh, poor mod...
 It's no big deal. Just a mild case of back-seat modding where no one reported the duplicate thread.
CAGs complaining is fine, but when they don't report the problem (where the issue would be quickly seen and fixed by those who can address the issue), it appears they just like to hear themselves talk.

Actually, someone just posting the price they got a specific game at might alert someone who may not have known it was on the clearance schedule.
Would you call that cleaning out? You still haven't listed the stores.
Yea that was a completely different trip, about a week ago? Do you memorize my posts or what? Last I checked, I actually do what the thread is intended for, unlike yourself. And if I'm "cleaning out" the stores, what would be the point of me posting my locations? There would be no need for another CAG to go there because there would be nothing left. So seriously, leave my posts alone man.
There is nothing wrong with users posting what they got on clearance and where. It helps keep the thread up to date, and its very easy to miss certain clearance titles as is when there are 140 pages to go through.
Now meaninglessly arguing for two pages about someone's posts is something that does not benefit the thread at all.
i think it is helpful when CAGs post what games they found on clearance. Posting the location can be dangerous, but go ahead and do so if you don't mind having the clearance games bought out.
I've been scanning the UPC for Lips and it is still at MSRP in my area
this thread makes me lol. its like hitting a gold mine yet no one reports the location. i'll probably won't too if i hit the jackpot after i clean out the store of course.
I actually don't mind the repeated posts of games with no location. It kind of tells me what are the most common games to be found so I can keep an eye out

Yeah, but not multiple times. If i posted yesterday that I got Viva Pinata for $1.97, and I go to another store and get it for $1.97, am I helping by posting the second score?
And also, I thought you whole deal was "lets keep things hard to find so newbs have to read through 20 pages of the Sears thread to find info"?

OWNED. Yeah, you only cleaned out store A, but you only bought 1 of each clearance game at store B because you didn't want to be a hoarder or you left them for other CAGs. :^o BS! It makes no sense unless you ran out of money.

If there is nothing left, this means that you cleaned out the store.
Just be honest, El Hoar....I believe you know what saying.
As for location...I agree with you, but your logic is flawed. "There would be no need for another CAG to go there because there would be nothing left." How would another CAGs know where not to go if you don't tell them the location you just cleaned out?

Yes, I did clean out one store of some clearance games (Hot Shots Golf, Muramasa, etc.) because I knew how much they go for online. Can you blame me? I got games for 97 cents that sell for about $20 online. Last I checked, no one on CAG is searching every nook and cranny for a copy of Hot Shots. I'll admit that I cleared out that store.
However, at Store B I had plenty of money and chose not to get games people might actually want (CoD2 360, Wet, etc.) I got 1 of each, just like I "should". So you guys should really chill the eff out, since it really doesn't concern you. I contribute to this site on a daily basis whether it be through price tracker or wherever, and it's annoying that because I actually posted what I hoarded at one store, I'm getting ripped on. I guarantee 10x as many people got more than what I did and just chose not to share. I thought it was amazing that I found so much in one place, so I thought I'd share. Excuse me

Step 1, go find glass bottles.
Step 2, break them.
Step 3, rub your face and genitals in the glass.
Step 4, analyze and reflect on why you're such a douchebag, and then stop.

Like I would ever listen to someone that likes wrestling. Shouldn't you be watching 2 sweaty men rub on each other?
I checked another Sears around my area and I found the last copy Hot Shots Golf behind the glass case scanned at $.97. They also had 3 copies of Monster Hunter Freedom 2 but it scanned full price there. Still no luck finding Muramasa or Metroid Prime Trilogy.
