Official Trophy Thread - 4/21: Enhanced Trophy Lists Coming in Firmware 3.30

Serious question, have any trophies actually been retroactive so far? I keep hearing developers say "Oh yea, they will be!" It never happens though.

Seriously? No joke? Why the hell haven't other developers been able to pull this off, especially when promised.
 
Criterion said that it wasn't possible for them, and the only 2 games with them are Sony games. So there's got to be some big problem with making them retroactive.

Frisky, got any idea if Derby Time is a PSN game? And any chance of an english version? The game could make for mad fun betting sessions
 
Just played the first chapter of Dead Space and picked up the marksman trophy for 20 limb dismemberments and obviously the one for completing Chapter 1. Game is pretty rad.

Hehe same here. To be honest I didn't expect much from the game. Its actually not a bad game, pretty interesting. BTW there's a free suit download "obsidian suit" on PSN. But if you use it in-game (put it on in the store) you disqualify yourself from getting the "all upgrade armor/weapons" trophy. I got the suit but haven't put it on.
 
I got Linger in Shadows and the Warhawk add-on bundle tonight. I plan on playing more Warhawk in the upcoming weeks with some friends. Also managed to get myself 8 of the 12 add-on trophies in the process. Also, Linger in Shadows is crazy.

Hmm.... I downloaded that.... wore it for a minute, then put on the Scorpion suit ($2.50 on PSN, I got it free for pre-ordering with Gamestop). I assume that also disqualifies me too, huh? I wonder if I can just take it off again. Doubtful.

Where'd you you get the info about that?
 
Does anyone know why my trophy times are behind my save data/system time? It's off by an hour.
 
Seems logical enough. MS has had one (?) promotion related to gamerscore since the 360's launch. If Sony would offer something tangible for, say, level 10+ users, then perhaps they would inspire folks to buy PS3 editions of multiplatform titles.

Once they have trophies in all titles, at any rate.

A move like this only makes sense.
 
Beta access would be my immediate guess. Digital delivery = cheap.

Maybe a free $10 PSN title for every 10 levels? I dunno; just throwing shit out there.
 
I'd like rewards for trophies. My level 6 is high I guess. Early beta access would be nice, but a free PSN game or free DLC would be much nicer.
 
How about a free movie/TV show? It would work with their limited rental system right now and most people wouldn't be pissed over losing a free movie. If they wanted to really get cheap, they could go for rentals only.
 
Strange. Ran into a character limit while adding to the list and had to split the list into PS3 in one post and PSN into another while moving the FAQ to the bottom of the first post. May end up just converting to links at some point unless another solution comes to light.
