*OFFICIAL* TRU 50% OFF DEAL! COMPLETE LIST ON FIRST PAGE!

What about the GCN Network Adaptor? I saw three of them at the La Cienega LA, CA TRU. I hear they're 50% off, too. Are they rare? Worth picking up? I really don't want to go back to that store to get one.

I'm actually looking for a GameCube Broadband Adapter. If they have those at your TRU, I'd pay for the shipping and maybe a little extra for your time and effort.

Thanks for all the work you have done. I hope I can get in on some of these deals tomorrow.

Stupid work + friend's wedding = maybe no cheap games for me

thanks for the update! i hope you didnt have to pour through 58 pages to recompile/update it.
I didn't update for two days and the thread grew almost 20 pages.
I'm just glad I happend to be browsing for pages 56/58 cause I aint gonna back through it.

You can add frickin' Tales of Destiny II for PS1 to the list, I can't believe I found it in a TRU. So not only was it marked $20, but it was part of the sale, so I got it for $10.

A sealed copy goes on Ebay for $80-100, so how it sat in a TRU for 5 years, who the hell knows. I'm going to play the hell out of it though. :D

Medal of Honor: Inflitrator for the GBA is $10.
I bought it on Saturday... and for the money, it's a really fun game, as it kind of reminds me of Commando/Metal Gear for the NES.

I just went to my TRU , and the clerk had just gotten the list to cut the prices. None of the stickers were on yet, and they still had all the games with full price on the shelves. The clerk was helpful and he told me to just bring up whatever I thought would be on sale.

I picked up POP for XBOX.
Yo Redline, if you find a Rebel Strike let me know, also if there are any games you are looking for let me know and I can see if I can find them also, maybe we can trade or something. I have visited a couple in the Dallas and Irving area.
No Rebel Strike at the Plano TRU. I did pick up Two Towers for $10 and Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance for $7.50 though. I'm still looking for Rebel Strike and Metal Arms (Xbox).

JUST FOR EVERYONE'S INFO:

XBOX Bundles are now FULL price.

They were pulled from the list, and are back to $150 and $230.

I wish I would have asked sooner. I talked to the manager today, and he told me that they pulled a lot of the stuff off of the list.

Totally pissed off!!!
Toys R US in Dallas on I-75 and Parker has 13 of the PS2 bonus packs for $115 if anyone lives in Dallas
I think that's Plano, not Dallas. I was there during lunch today but didn't look at any PS2 stuff. I did hear the cashier tell a woman they didn't have any Xboxes left. They also didn't have any GameBoy Advance glacier or indigo handhelds.

To whomever asked; Shattered soldier IS half off. I wish I had some more money.

What does that bring it to?

My TRU wants 35 for an open-box SS..
You should have just asked at your store, it would have been easier than coming back and posting and then going back to decide if you want to buy it.

That's nice. My store doesn't have Shattered Soldier and I wouldn't even consider buying their shitty-condition open-box item.

Thus why I'm asking.

I got Sega Soccer Slam for GC today, and when I bought it, the clerk told me that I was getting the game for 50% off, and it was part of a sale that would officially begin on Sunday.

He told me the store would be getting materials this week to start labeling all of the games, so I guess that is what we can expect in the coming days.

Of course, from the sounds of things, a lot of the stores have already had the best stuff purchased...

Did TRU ask anyone else for ID when buying games rated M, when your obviously an adult?

They refused to sell me the games since I didn't bring my ID. fucking bullshit. Cost me Deus Ex, Silent Hill 3, Clock Tower 3, though they were "generous" enough to let me buy Crimson Skies since its only rated T. I would have asked for the manager but there was a long ass line.

I did pick up Death Crimson OX and Typing of the Dead for DC... At another TRU.

Does anyone have any opinions on Arc the LAd? It seems some other people have finally got aorund to my TRU, and there's only 1 copy of the collection left. Is it worth it? What's it comparable to?

Yes, get it. At $36 it's a steal. I bought one off ebay for $60 sealed and am very happy with it. It's like a Final Fantasy Tactics game only not as in depth. The gameplay is fun but not overly complicated. If you like strategy games, then you'll like the Arc the Lad collection.

Damnit.... I Just Went To 5 TRU's And Finally Found One With The Star Wars / Tetris Bundle.... And Bam Rang Up 230$ ... I Was Like Uhhh.... God Damnit.

No problem. It never hurts to ask prices on items, even if you arent buying it. Sometimes after coming home I look up some reviews and decide to buy a game or not and need to know the price before I can make the purchase.

On a side note that deserves no more time in this thread:
I dont understand peoples obessions over sealed games if they were to trade/buy them 2nd hand. obviously in retail it should be new, but 2nd hand is 2nd hand.

that's cool Redline, but if you do find an extra one let me know. I just picked up Voodoo Vince, Sneakers and Sphinx. They also had the PS2 bundles at the I-75 and Walnut hill store in Dallas.

Yea, the lady asked me for ID at one of the TRUs in my area, yet none of the other TRUs where I bought Mrated games asked me.

Just picked up Medal of Honor:Infiltrator, Lord Of the Rings: TTT (GC) and Lost Kingdoms II. All were $10, Great Deal. :D

Ribbit King came up as 20 for Ps2 and GC.

It's funny you ask about the mature rated thing, when I bought typing of the dead the cashier kind of chuckled and said "Animated typing violence" and just let me have the game as if the m rating was a joke. Oh well, I am old enough anyway.

i just called my TRU, and asked about the sale. I'm not saying anythign bad about TRU Employees, but he didn't really sound like he knew what was going on. I asked "Are you still having the 50 percent off sale." he said "i dont htink so, we only do that on weekends".....right...any advice?

Calling employees is a waste of time.

I'd normally agree, though one very nice person at the Chesterfield, MO store put away a copy of Otogi for me, on my phone call.

As a rule, I'd say it's normally useless, but you sometimes find the occasional clueful among the masses.

I've ended up with nice employees before. One held ATL: Collection for me.
Here's the deal for everyone. I had another "no game" GBA thing so you might want to check your cases for the halfway rare or popular games. This time I picked up "Demi Kids: White Version" in which I THOUGHT it was out of stock because I picked up the last ticket. Well, luckily they hadn't got around to putting up another ticket or something happened to one of em' and they had an extra copy WITH the game thank God.
Btw in case anyone is interested this same store had a NON Players Choice copy of "Super Mario Sunshine".
For the person complaining about VF4 Evolution it's because they were scanning a different barcode so you're out of luck. I made my comment about the 50% off thing with the original UPC and the employee just said they get their games from two different people. Basically all you have to do is find a copy of VF4 Evo with the original UPC on it to scan instead of a "Value Games" copy with the other UPC and you're set.
Btw speaking of this situation has anyone seen a copy of "Harvest Moon: Save the Homeland" NON value game marked. I kinda like the idea of paying $10 for it.
Also on another note is "Ribbit King" worth it for $10? What's the game like?
Now next up DDRMAX2. Only ONE store had copies around for $20. One of the others was out then another place the games were still ringing up $39.99. I suspect this may be the case with "Mario Kart: Double Dash" but I'd like to know where the HELL people have been finding that and Tenchu for the XBox for $15 as well.

shaq-fu YEA!

I just got back from TRU, and here's my haul:

1. Onimusha tactics (tons left)
2. Klonoa (some left)
3. Karnaaj Rally (one or two left)
4. Metal Arms X-Box (no left)
5. Shenmue II (no left)
6. Amplitude (no left)
7. IKARUGA! (one left)
8. DISGAEA!!! (two left)

I am so shaq-fuing happy. I finally got a good score at one of these sales. And then I went over to Gamestop, and grab Dragon Warrior I & II for GBC, thus getting every GBC game I want.

Here's a pic:

Made my third trip to the local store today.
Picked up:

Dance Dance Revolution Ultramix (Xbox) $35

I may return Black and Bruised since the reviews don't appear to be very good.

PS2 vertical stand is 3.45. It's the one made by sony in a blue box and it's made in Japan! Great for people who set their PS2 in the vertical position for whatever reasons.
