Since I'm a cheap ass newbie, could someone explain to me exactly how you can tell how many items EB has left? I've seen it reported many times "Only 23 left!" but try as I might I can't figure how that is found.. thanks :)
Change the number in your cart to something high, like 100; when it refreshes, it'll only show the amount possible for you to add, hence, the number of copies left.

stupid newbie, don't ask questions...you'll never learn anything that way

Hmm the update seems pretty weak, although theres still some SB's left. Unless I'm too early and they don't update till 8pm eastern. I have work from 8-5 today so I was able to get on early ^^

Blarg! I have been checking EB every single day for the last 2 months for Victorious Boxers. Got home later than usual yesterday, checked again, and it finally showed up as being in stock.... but it was already gone. Such a cruel trick.

I check there occasionally, but the last couple of "complete" games i purchased through eBay were missing the instructions. Still, I may have no alternative... thanks for the heads up.
DAMN!!! Two straight GBC games came and did not work. What all do you have to have to return them to B and M stores
I think all you need is the packing slip.
do rare nes games like flintstones 2, or menace beach or stadium event ever come in stock?
Sometimes, you have to be quick though. NES games used to last a little while, but people are on to those now, too.

Hmm only new title I noticed was MVC2 XBox so far this morning, along with MM6,5, and Final Fantasy for the NES all highly priced.

Heres MVC2

Ugh, Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles (GC/New) was $9.99 right when the site updated. Still was $9.99 when I hit the submit button for my order to go through...then the site lagged for about 40 seconds while it processed my order...then my order total for the game was $29.99 once it went through. I don't know whether to cancel the order on the website or wait until 8AM EST to call to see if they can do anything for me.

Same thing almost happened to me yesterday, but the price updated to $29.99 during the checkout process and was able to catch it.
i just ordered game and watch 2, game and watch 4, and dbz:ccg for $9.50 shipped XoD
I didn't see Game and Watch 4 or DBZ: CCG when I was going through the GBC section. You must have picked up the last ones.
When do you think Free SuperSaver shipping will make a comeback?
It still works.

Enter code 'saver'.

No no, I meant for new items too. It's been awhile, but if memory serves they used to do it.

That must've been way before my time, because I can't recall ever using that coupon exclusively for new products.
When do you think Free SuperSaver shipping will make a comeback?
I don't think its ever been back since it was gone. Not a big lost though, since you can just always tack on like a 99 cent Genesis game and get your new items shipped for 75 cents, plus you get the game.

Is there a sticky thread for the Edge program? I'm not sure how it works and how much it costs. EBGames web site just says to visit your local EB to get a card when I click the link that dcfox posted.

I snagged a Links Awakining.

A bit off topic: I wonder how much longer EB will continute shipping $4.00 (and less) games for free. Seems like they might even be losing money on a sale in some circumstances. Plus, the way some of their used stuff sells out so quickly (like Links Awakining) I'm surprised they don't raise prices... Not that I'm complaining.

I'm don't think there's a sticky on it but its real simple. I believe now it costs $5 for 10 months (it use to cost $10 and came with a GMR subscription). Basically you get 10% all pre owned games and accessories. You can use it both in store and online. But with online you can combine it with either cag15 or cag16 to get 25%/26% off.

i wish there was a tally on how much the edge card has saved a person, because i am prolly somewhere between 50 and 100 dollars thanks to that sucker.

I'd probably have about the same! :D

I just went through all my EB orders and this month alone I saved $12.25 w/ Edge + CAG15. I had 7 orders and with $2 saved through SAVER, thats another $14. So in one month I saved $26.25 just with online orders. Multiply it by 12 months I save about $300 a year.

Whoa.

I've been to lazy to get an edge card so far as I do all my buying online.

I would promise to cut my nuts off, for just 1 hour alone with Scarlett.
My LORD,... stop taunting us.
You and Milkyman,... filthy bastards.

:)

I've got to agree with you . . . on the other hand EB probably enjoys the general traffic and figure they net some bigger ticket sales along the way.

I bet I've saved $30ish with the Edge card in the past year.

I preferred the mag and card combo to the $5 for the card deal.
