I really don't care what Amreicanpierg says/claims to do. What angers is me when people take him seriously. He's a cheap ass n00bie, and he's taking no time to type this up -- it's so painfully obvious that he's posting here with the sole intention of pissing the honest, right-doing CAGers off. I'm pretty sure that their return policy doesn't say that you can buy a game and return it at a higher price, although I'm not sure if he bought it at Walmart or a different store. You're also wildly mistaken if you think that EB games is reputable.

"sole intention of pissing the honest, right-doing CAGers off"??? isnt what im doing the entire point of this "cheap ass gamer" thing... buy low sell high, whys ripping off walmart bad when you rip off gamerush and FYE. The gamerushes and FYEs are losing MUCH more money than walmart is. ALSO the flipping that occurs at FYE and gamerush happens 10000000 fold more. How many used copies of malice and room zoom does FYE have that they cannot sell because they price it at 30+ and people are buying them for 5 dollars and returning them for 30? sure ur gonna say its their fault for making their tradein so bad, then shame on walmart for having FFCC for 50 when its solld elsewhere for 20.

BTW flippinig is bad and inmoral, do not flip

Well, I guess. I'm not saying that you personally do this, but I do know a lot of people on this site buy extra copies of cheap games and then sell 'em over eBay. I see that as nothing different. In both cases, you're screwing other CAGs. In the Wal-Mart situation, you're continually pushing them to enforce a stricter return policy. In the other scenario, you're screwing CAGs out of getting the games for cheap when they go to store X with the sale, only to find the game out of stock.

the price just doesn't entice me to get those yet.. it seems those could be had cheaper elsewhere or when they are instock at stores.

Heyricochet summed it up fairly nicely, though I'll try to elaborate a little more on it. But I will still quote his answer:

Most of the items that are listed/posted in this thread are the items that are most sought after and the harder to find/rare items. Some very very rarely come in, and others come every so often. Sometimes EB will also have markdowns on games.

There are a couple of ways that you can find out about the markdowns on games at EB. First is the CAG-O-Matic, which does a fairly good job. Next is that if you start to follow this thread, and just games in general, then you will find out what drops in prices and what doesn't. Sorry I couldn't answer your question earlier.
