Blazing Dragons was one fo the games I got the day I got a PSX. It's a comical point-and-click adventure, and anyone wo likes the genre would do well to pick it up.

And, as always, anyone who doesn't have Castlevania: SOTN and doesn't get it is a huge douchebag.
Well I'll be waiting for the drop on the preplayed but you can get Bard's Tale PS2 New for 14.99, the preplayed still says 26.99.
http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/product/242331.asp
I'll pickup Bard's Tale whenever it hit $10. Also, for those peoples who already placed your order when it $19.99 you better call EB.com customer service & get $5 adjustment back to your credit card. ;)

... I actually bought it when it first came out. But I beat it and sold it for 50, now I want to get it when it's cheap for my collection. It's a great game, well worth 15 dollars.

Sorry if this is a bit off topic, but I just got back from EB and I saw somethig interesting. Is Viewtiful Joe 2 for the PS2 a good buy at $9.99, or should I go somewhere else to get it cheaper?

VJ2 is GREAT game pickup while you can. $10 is STEAL DEAL (I paid $15 and it worth every pennies) ;)

Did anyone here other than myself manage to order a copy of M.U.S.H.A. or Herzog Zwei yesterday? If so have the games been shipped yet? I know I was quick enough and made it all the way through checkout w/o either being pulled but neither has been shipped yet. I made another order yesterday and it has already been sent.

I would of liked to, until someone *stares at onikage... :twoguns: *, got to them first.

:D

By the way, how much did both of those run you, before coupons? Hope everything turns out alright with the order.

I've been checking the morning update off and on for months trying to get those games. The only reason I had the chance to buy them was because of extreme luck as the site updated the instant I went there @ around noon. I doubt many were searching EB around that time, the morning update is always much earlier.

Herzog Zwie - $5.99 BC
M.U.S.H.A. - $5.99 BC

Also, I noticed something strange on my M.U.S.H.A. order summary. Usually a $5.99 game would be $4.80 after 25% off + plus free shipping. However, M.U.S.H.A. only cost me $3.20, which is the cost of a $3.99 game AC. While it shows up as $5.99 on my order it's possible that it's actually in the system @ $3.99.

This morning I saw a new Lunar 2 for like, a second and it was gone. I think I saw someone talking about it in the previous thread. Is that a glitch in the system or has anyone ever gotten it? It'll be the white whale to my Ahab.

I made 3 orders of SNES games on Wednesday morning, and I've actually already recieved two of them (PIECES!), but my order for 7th Saga has not shipped yet, which is really worrying me =/.

Lunar 2 still hasn't shipped either. Oh no :(

What was the list price on that?
What was the list price on that?
I can't remember, probably $40 or $50. It was gone too fast.

i ordered 2 copies of lunar 2 both were cancelled. when i called they said it was a bug in their softwere that keeps lunar 2 popping up and they pull it down as fast as they can ever morning. They havent had a lunar 2 in stock in over 6 months.

yeah its been like that for a while.. but you got to keep trying you never know when they'll send you one.
That's pretty high for Alundra 1... I think Gamestop sells it for 12 - 14 bucks at B&M.

I'd never pay 24 for a (potentially) cd only copy.
If it comes in CD only simply return it if you don't like it, in fact they send you a nice little prepaid envelope to send it back in.

You could do the same thing at Gamestop though, and it costs $12 there.
can used games be returned at gamestop or ebgames? if i bought a used game, can i return it later?
If it's defective, you can exchange it within (I think it's 14 days) with a receipt for the same title only.

Other than that, the best you can do is trade it back for credit, which we all know will only get you a small percentage of what you originally paid.

EB stores put a sticker over the openings for used games. If you open it, then you can't return the game and can only exchange it. If the sticker is still intact, you have 14 days to return it.

If buying from EBgames.com, the games will not come with a sticker. Because of this I've had trouble returning them for a refund in stores; they'll gladly exchange it if they have the game but they've never allowed me to get a refund. But if you contact customer service, ask for a prepaid envelope, they'll accept it up to 30 days after the date on the invoice.

By the way, is EB having a July 4th sale? I didn't see anything in stores today nor have I seen anything posted.

they have a 15% off used sale...dunno if thats old or not, although that gmecube with FFCC and a PC game got my gamecube down to only 30 dollars ;)

You might want to call and ask about it to save yourself any worry. I just called and found out that the 2 games I ordered are somehow on backorder for me, even though I blazed through checkout the instant they showed up. I'm not sure how anyone could have gotten them before me. :?

If your anal about it you can easily remove the stickers w/o breaking them, at leat i did that with Sims 2 (pc) and F-Zero GX that I bought used last week, they put those stickers on them, i came home, and slowly peeled them off intact in case something went wrong. Granted now i'm keeping them and have no intention of bringing them back, so i got rid of the stickers completely.

I picked up Project Snowblind (Xbox), Thief, and Baten Kaitos at the east side Madison store. They were the last copies of all of them. I was there about 10 minutes after they opened, and there was only one guy browsing the bin (hi if you're reading this).

BTW, I noticed the copies of SOCOM for sale did have the headset, fyi.
walmart= FFCC is 49.99, Kirby's Air Ride is 19.99, didnt open sold back to walmart for 69.98 plus tax
Let the flame begin

It's really YMMV, but at my local store I can just tell them "I wanted the label to be in better condition" (for a Game Boy game) or "I wanted it complete, not disc only" for a PSX games and they've taken it back without incident. It's a small EB, so they never have the item in stock and always just credit it back to my credit card.

You're a winner.

about those used games sticker, what if you got a friend thats an employee there and he gave u some of those stickers ;), that would mean you'd get free rentals hehe

why would i get flamed for the walmart comment..
Walmart sucks, keep flipping those bastards.
Yeah man, ripping off companies causing them to stiffen their return policy even further is awesome!

well if u do it twice, they allow 3 receiptless returns per year per household, buy 2 gcs, return one get a friend to return the other, along with the two games, get ur xbox360 for 200 and some left over, of course this is morally wrong to do

its not really ripping them off, as walmart allows receiptless returns becauses they can return them back to the manufacturer for full price, or they could also just place it back onto the shelves to sell

It's actually called return fraud, and is illegal.
It's actually called return fraud, and is illegal.
