Haha, I don't know if I'll even get a chance to play it, but I'll bet it would have cost you more than the $2.50 I'm paying EB to package and ship it to me.
yea eb has to be taking a hit on shipping. I got like 20 of those 8 pack gba holders and it had to cost them a pretty penny to ship. It only cost around 6 bucks and shipping had to be around that price or more

heres hoping the LUNAR 2 comes complete

Dammit, I know it is in stock every morning pretty much, but I always miss SaGa Frontier 2. Ah well, guess I have to be faster tomorrow morning.
Will I ever get a Chrono Trigger?

Probably not.
i finally gave up and got it on the final fantasy chronicles disc instead. too much work otherwise!

It's just those damn loadtimes. I'm hoping pretty badly for it being downloadable on Revolution (if I don't find it by then).

A little bored, so I did some searching today . . . I'd buy these if I didn't already own them :))

I did order I-Ninja Xbox . . . it hasn't been instock for the box for awhile. Really underated platformer . . . I traded in my GC copy for $13.33 in credit during the PSP game deal (man I miss that scam). So, I was able to convert to Xbox and come out over $5 ahead (I did this with a few titles).

How long are they supposed to be anyway? Would they be shorter if playing on a PS2 (with disc speed turned up)?
http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/product/217071.asp

I second this question, as it relates to Final Fantasy Chronicles. How are those load times on the PS2? And do you have to go into an options menu to turn up the disc speed or does it do it automatically?

Load times will barely be affected (I don't think it's affected at all) if you used the disc speed option. The version of FF4 on Chronicles is supposed to be better than the one Square released in Japan since it has extremely fast loading and better emulation of Mode 7 ( i think). It still has lag and slowdown though.

Oh, and Crisis Zone is back in stock $39.99 b/c

Dammittttt I check eb for like a month, and then I decide that I finally should stop buying games and the one game I really wanted(Mario Picross) pops up. And I refuse to pay 25 bucks at gamestop, thats ridiculous.

I know the website says $24.99, but have you checked Gamestop B&M? I just bought a copy at a local store and it rang up $9.99.

True, though I am tempted to order it just to see what EB ships.

Game & Watch Gallery $2.99

Sometimes I just don't understand EB. The order I made a few days ago (Riviera, Arc the Lad Collection, Earthbound) had each item sent in a separate box. 2 of em came from the same place even. I swear, they must have some secret deal going on with UPS and Fedex in order to keep shipping really cheap.

Most large companies have deals with whichever postal service they choose to ship at extrodinarily cheap rates. Even small businesses can get discounts from UPS and Fedex if they join the right small business organizations.

Although that is sure a waste of work time for those who had to package them =P

Ooo good to know, I'll have to check next time I'm around one of the stores that has a copy.

was riviera new or used

Hi Guys,
Spiderman 2 for DS is available.
Naval Ops: Warship Gunner is available
Gallop Racer 2001 is also available.

On a side note, I am looking for GBA or DS games for my cousin. He is 5 and does not play a lot of games. But he loves Mario 64 DS (Although I don't think he understand the platform game. Just the mini games.) Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Matthew

New, so I guess they ship new and used games separately.

Load times do improve with the faster disc speed, a bit. Still:

FF6 on the Anthology disc is atrocious, with in-battle lag (particuarly summons and Sabin's special powers).

FF4 runs almost perfectly, almost like a SNES cartridge, except harder, and with better translations. :D Yay!

Chrono Trigger has a big load time going into battle and coming out of it, improved by the PS2 disc speed boost but still icky. Battles, etc run without lag though for the most part - much better than FF6 on the Anthology disc.
