yea they ship new and used games separately even if they are shipping from the same place.
Actually, for the first time ever today, I got a new game (PS2 Bard's Tale) shipped in the same box with used games (Genesis).

Just a quick question.. What's ebgames' return policy for online orders? How many days do I have to return my order in store? And from what day does that start?

Thanks for the updates guys, really appreciate it, and like it! Now, here's maybe my chance to help you guys out (I'm never up early enough to check things in stock.)

In Lincoln is a store called Gamers, where they have for free old instruction manuals. I'd be willing to look and see if they had some for specific games and send them out for a very small fee (or even free depending on how cheap it is, I'd need to check). If anyone is interested, I guess just pm me or respond in the thread. I did grab a few to begin with, just in case:

-Illusion of Gaia instruction booklet and map (both beat up, but if you have cart only :) )
-Strider 2 (pretty good)
-Grandia (beat up a bit)
-Resident Evil 2 (N64, good)
-Super Punch Out (bent a bit)
and my peronal fave:
-Night Trap (Sega CD, ok)

I hope I can give back at least a bit to this community. Thanks, bone.

See my tradelist for manuals/cases I'm looking for... I'd give a fair bit for certain ones. Theres some in my Most Wanted section, and in the very bottom.

``Returns and exchanges of new and Pre-Played merchandise will be accepted within 30 days.''

I've always taken that to be 30 days from the order date. Usually that means that you've got a couple weeks from the time you get the games to return them if you have to. My local EB has never been overly thrilled by my returning things there but they'll do it anyway.

Cool, that helps a lot.
how much was gallop racer 2001
It was $17.99 before discounts. This is 2x I have posted it, and it has been gone soon after. I have toyed with the idea of buying it... but...

Meh, doesn't ebgames guarantee working condition? I got a gbc game today and it was barely even holding together. It wouldnt work at all. I know I can return it, but whats the length on that policy?
By "Guaranteed to work" they really mean "Not guaranteed to work."
No "Guaranteed to work" means if it doesn't work, you get your money back.

i cant belevie what just happened. I just got grandia extreme, and it turns out some guy carefully ripped off the sticker on grandia extreme and stuck it on a spider man 2 dvd. So now i paid this money for a freaking spider man 2 dvd bonus feature. I cant belevie that eb does not test its games before it sends them out. I for one will not be buying from eb games since it seems that they dont even test there games to see if they work. This is very disheartening to come from a big game chain. Tommrow customer service is getting a piece of my mouth.

Just make sure you don't give them a good piece of your mouth.

But that does suck and it has happened to me before. I had purchased a used copy of Ogre Battle for the PS1, it was complete and everything looked to be in order. So I thought to myself, sweet now I can give my bro a game he has been looking for, for a while, for his birthday. Well low and behold upon getting it he plays it, or tries to, only to find out that it is some music cd with the Ogre Battle sticker on it. Stupid no testing. Although from time to time, when I find used rare games, I will take a chance and hope there are the right discs, especially if its complete otherwise.

Just return it to your local EB, or ship it back at their expense.

How do you ship it back to them at their expense? They accidentally sent me the wrong item and I need to return it.

You tell them they screwed up and ask for it.

Or you can just return it to a B&M and get a refund immediately.

I was just messing around and checking stuff and I saw it just now at 8:20 am. It was listed at $44.99 I believe. But then I hit the refresh button and it was gone. So evidently the glitch occurs at all different times of the day.
has anyone ever seen Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo on one of the morning updates?
Yes, I bought one on....May 11. (Damn I'm good -- how many orders I've placed and I found it on the first guess!) Haven't seen anyone mention it in stock since then. Do note it's listed as "Puzzle Fighters 2" for some reason, so craft your search carefully.

It's 19.99 b/c. My copy arrived disc only but in fine condition.
How's that Harvest Moon game?
if you have the GC iteration.. this one will link to it and certain events will happen.. that could be worth it enough for you right there. it would be about 14 dollars after coupons..
How's that Harvest Moon game?
well, I just ordered mine this week, but from my research, it's definitely the best of the series on the handhelds, and possibly overall as well. (Per gamespot, it's sort of a remake of the ps1 game, with a number of really good improvements.) On this thread recently, someone gave the GBA harvest moon a ringing endorsement over the GBC games, which got me interested. Can't find the post now though.
How's that Harvest Moon game?
SO fun. Before this one, Harvest Moon 64 had been my favorite, but this one has a lot more to do.
