Maybe yes maybe no (no one knows what the coupon is). Read the thread even though there's lots of drama on it -- you'll get the latest news. For that deal I bought this game for 2.99 - 10% in person at a local gamestop, with no waiting!

Not much of interest... They do have a copy of preowned Killer 7 in, labeled as PS2 but in the GC section. $44.98 b/c is a bit much for me, but it's a fairly recent game to be popping up used.

I just tried to buy Iridion and two $4.99 games to do the trade in deal and they both got snagged from my cart at checkout. Leaving me with a single $4.99 game in my cart.

Don't know if you're using IE or Firefox but when I was using Firefox I could never get past the checkout so I had to switch to IE for the update. Others probably haven't had this problem but just something to consider.

Yeah whenever I use Firefox it always tells me my cart is empty when I go into my cart screen after I added something.
 
I bought secret of mana this morning (had earthbound pulled on second from last screen *with no warning* -- what happened to it notifying when stuff disappears during the checkout process??). However, my direct links for both games never showed a thing...did it all from the overall snes page. That's a pain because I buy from so many platforms...I want to be able to utilize specific item links instead of monitoring all the landing pages!!
 
who the fuck took Konami Arcade (GBA) out of my cart :) Had it right at update moved smoothly to the entering my gift card and poof. Not a biggie, never played it much but I need a replacement for the one I traded in for Ndogs :)

Interesting, I've been absent for a bit but has anyone commented on EB fixing the discount for a phamtom game glitch? I did have two games in my cart and they used to finish your order with only one game but the double discount . . . this time it killed my whole cart.

Did they fix the glitch???

LOL. we're in the same boat, except I didn't get anything today. I too will appreciate a break from CAG, though I doubt I can stop myself from getting in a deal or 2 while I'm gone :)

I'm going to this little resort on the coast of NC out in the middle of nowhere. No computers, no internet cafes, no laptops. So basically, no way I can possibly be tempted to get onto CAG, even if I wanted to.

Whoever picks up our mail next week is going to be curious as to why I have 2-4 packages coming EVERY SINGLE DAY.

That was me . . . sorry . . . I picked those on the rebound after I lost Konami. Sometimes we pass on goodness with links and other times we step on each other.


Glad to hear some of you are going on vacation :) . . . I missed one day of CAG on Monday . . . Christ I practically went into withdrawal ;-)

They'll let it go through if you're just getting extra discount, but not if it makes the value of your order zero. (Such as if you lose an expensive game and are left with a cheap filler.) If that happens the order literally disappears -- won't show up in My Orders and you'll never see the games. So reorder if you wanted them!!

Yeah, my parents are not going to be too thrilled. I am going to the Carribean for a week starting Saturday, and currently have 13 non-received orders. Mommy will not be happy at all.

Really, it should be more like five orders, but I am too paranoid about having stuff snatched out of my cart to risk more than one game/order.
 
Oh and to answer your question Friedle I'm a huge Cat Schwartz fan. I'm afraid to oggle to much though cause my name is Schwartz too and her and I may be distantly related somehow. I better stay on the safe side and just oggle Morgan Webb :)

She was sitting, so it was kinda hard to tell. But she was higher than him. The Sess is just as funny in person, which pleased me.

Suikoden II arrived complete.
Rhapsody came with case and soundtrack, I already have a case.
Rez came, disc has writing on top. Trying to decide what to do with it.
Project Justice is complete but with another Hollywood Video sticker. Every copy of Project Justice I've ordered has had one of these.
Raystorm came disc only.
Shenmue Special Edition wasn't special at all, just a regular copy.

Mine came the same way. I actually used a little bit of GooGone to remove permenant marker from the disc label - just a few drops and a few q-tips took the Sharpie writing right off of mine. You have to let it soak for about a minute, then rub it off. Just be careful not to rub too hard or the label will peel off.

It doesn't damage the disc? I'll have to try that. My bottle of Goo Gone is in storage right now, but I'll see about picking up some more. At least I won't have to return it, thanks.

It can definitely damage the disc if you rub too hard. I (fortunately) tested it first on a copy of Butt-Ugly Martians that FYE wouldn't take. After letting it soak for about 5 minutes I started rubbing it with a q-tip and the marker came off, but not all of it. I rubbed a little harder and a piece of the label came right off. I might have let it soak for too long, so you have to be pretty careful but it certainly does work. My copy of Rez now looks brand new.

All two of them? ;)

I don't think I've seen SPP used very often, though. If I remember right, it was a Target exclusive in the first place, and it didn't seem to be an incredbily common game.

I used to own the game but traded it to a friend (because I needed Gamerush trade in fodder at the time) Now he won't let me trade back for it :) The game is one of the better pinball games I've played, plus it has a lot of Sega fanservice (the NiGHTS pinball table is worth admission alone)

Better go check some Targets!

I've been trying to score that one too for a long time, but never had much luck with the EBgames site. I did stumble on it at a B&M store for $7.99 about a month or so ago. I'm so spoiled with my edge card and the saver15 code that it's weird only getting 10% off. ;)
