Vigilante 8 and V8: Second Offense are both good car combat games (I prefer them to the original Twisted Metal series). They are done by Luxoflux, who went on to develop True Crime: Streets of LA.

Anyone having trouble playing their copies of Tomba! on their PS2s? I got a complete copy today, and the disc is in decent condition, but after the PSX logo comes up, the screen stays black and nothing happens. Can I return it to a B&M for a refund?

Tomba is one of the few PS1 games that will not play on a PS2. You probably shouldn't have any trouble returning it. My EB just let's me return orders for any reason. Though it technically isn't defective...

I have a slim PS2. I thought it might just be my PS2 so I tried it in my PSX, and it still didn't work. Although that doesn't suprise me at all, since it had a hard time playing nearly every game. It's a shame too, because I really wanted to play some Tomba.

For those that missed out on Suikoden II due to coupons, that's why I always put a cheap .99 game in my cart when I first log on in the morning, and stack all the coupons on that... that way, the moment the update happens, I'm ready to buy any games that might sell out extremely quickly (ala Suikoden II); only costs a few extra pennies even if you don't remove the game from the cart.

As thick as possible . . . the morning update is my favorite thread because it is the purest expression of "pass it on" that CAG has. Here you see immediate competition and cooperation.

Perhaps the OP has no idea of what etiquette is or how much this game has been desired by CAGers . . .

This thread is great because first and foremost we are in it for ourselves and then secondly we look after our brothers (and sisters) in cheapness.

OP should have bought one and posted the other copy or, at least, kept his mouth shut altogether.

Hopefully FYE will lower the price on the game or turn down his second copy.

I have sold more games on the cheap (where's the person I sold LaPucelle to for $5 shipped new?), turned down more deals, and grabbed copies for more gamers on these boards than 96% of the users here. Hell, you yourself have bought things in this thread (and prior ones) that I pointed out and could have easily bought out from under you, but didn't. I'm not even going to waste my breath on apologizing for buying two copies of a game (one for my collection, one for FYE) simply because it's not necessary.

i dont see why they are so pissed about you buying 2 copies i mean there were tons of people here BUYING OUT all the Best buy 5 buck games and saying im going to take them into FYE for a lot more. Iknow many people been here a long time Said they GRAB the NCAA March madness 2005 just to resell it to FYE. i say buy what you buy and if someone gets mad about it its their problem not yours. You know for a fact most of these people who are complain about someone grabbing 2 -3 copies of a game would do the same thing if they got their first .

The difference is supply and demand. Hell, I'll admit, at the last TRU greentag sale, once it hit 90%, I bought a dozen and a half copies of Primal (still left several copies on the shelf too). Same with the BB games, there are plenty of them, and depending on the number of CAGs in your area (zero in my case), even buying them completely out will not affect anything. In this case, a much more rare game was hoarded, and due to it being an internet deal, it affected many more CAGs than buying a bunch of trade fodder at a B&M which few CAGs frequent.

this made me laugh when y0u said primal. It remind me of my TRU back in the first week of jan. The manager was begging me to take all of the primals they had (had like 40 of them) that was sitting there for weeks (they needed the shelf space) I took like 15 or so cause i didnt have the room to store 40 more ps2 games. the dude just kept pushing junk games saying PLEASE TAKE THEM WE NEED THE ROOM ( they did this to everyone who checked out, there was this old lady who didnt even know what a ps 2 was
