Hardly the deal of the century, but it was $49.99 just yesterday (I know because I check daily for the elusive used copy). Not bad for those who have to have it new and missed it when it was $35 at CC. Other stores show it at $49.99 to $59.99, but I wouldn't be surprised to see similar drops elsewhere soon.

BTW, Wherehouse.com indicates a trade-in value of $23 for the game. Now, I wouldn't risk sending it to them without the drum, but 99% of the time, the trade-in values on wherehouse.com are identical to the FYE values. I think I'm going to try and trade in my extra game at FYE!
 
You all suck! I paid $50 for the first one, then $35 for the second one at CC (but immediately traded in the game only for $17 ($12+$5 bonus) at, ironically, ebgames - so the extra drum was only $18.

If you beat the game on the "hard" difficulty level, it opens up a fourth level - "oni". I wonder if anybody's ever beaten that one.

Yeah, oni seems impossible but my gf's bro beat it in 2,3 tries for couple difficult songs. To get every note correct is impossible, it seems. Plus the drum isn't very sensitive and many hits might not register if your hits are off.

But it's do-able if you just want to pass it.

Btw, does anyone know if EB games in store price is 19.99 as well? Then i can pick another one up after work today.

I have a little over half the songs cleared on oni so far. I've been using the standard controller to clear the songs on oni. I think that's the trick. I can't do it with the drum, unfortunately... it's too imprecise. I might pick up the RedOctane drum to see if it's any better for me.

One thing I can't seem to do right is hitting the drum on the sides. I find the surface area is just to small for me to hit it at a consistent rate. But I suppose the more I play it the more I'll get use to it. Other than that I don't have any complaints, so far.
 
Great deal, I might have to get another for the drums. I also got my copy during the CC sale, though I only paid $30 + tax @ BB w/ price match + GGC.

I didn't think it would sell out that fast. I wasted time looking for a preowned game (which I have no need for) to throw in for the free shipping + 15% off, and now it's gone. If I had just ordered one initially, it would have only cost like 50 cents more, but I would have gotten it for sure.

The frustrating thing for me is that I never throw in a preowned game just to get free shipping, but after seeing some people mention it, I did, which led to me not getting in on the deal. Oh well. I'll just have to wait a little longer before being able to get a second drum for multiplayer (I already got the game + drum when it was $30).

I learned my lesson a while ago. As soon as I saw the deal going at $19.99, I realized it wouldn't last and placed my order as quickly as possible. I suppose it's possible this could be a recurring deal but I didn't want to chance it. I was out yesterday and saw the game still going for full price at Best Buy, Media Play and Gamestop.

At $20 with the drum, thats a steal! Too bad I found out about it too late! O Please have more soon (at this price of course).

Update: I printed out the ebgames.com page for this, took it down to the local EB store and asked the manager if he'd pricematch with the website. He looked it over... and said that he would. For me it was $19.99 in store. Thanks OP--my boys will love this one and I've been waiting for a good price.

I always pick up an extra preowned game for free shipping, as I did today for Drum Master, the trick was, I keep a list of these game with me so I take no longer that a minute to add the preowned game into my cart, most all the 2 dollar games Ive gotten were PS1 games... hell, its a free game, and sometimes they arrive complete

Picked up Drum Master, NBA Live 2004 XB NEW, plus Cyber Tiger PS1 for roght around 26 bucks... cant beat that!

Seriously, it costs that much for a third party drum anyway, and I much prefer first party stuff.
 
This type of deal is why CAG becomes a full-blown addiction. If you don't sign in, you miss the deal. And you never know when you will have to kick into action.

Luckily, I had 10 minutes at school to check in and get in on it . . . I almost thought . . . I'll wait until later to order . . . you can't delay.
 
Guys, for you people who got this game just recently but at a price higher than 19.99 like me, (i got it at 29.99 friday and item arrived last night). After the price drop this morning, I contacted eb and they agree to give me $10 refund. ^^
