Yep, I have to agree that this is a pivotal moment, and Sony is falling behind. It's becoming clear that they are at a financial disadvantage, and don't have anything like what MS has behind them in terms of technology and service capability.
You have to remember that they're a Japanese company as well. If you know about business and culture, you'll know that it's a hard road to really transform anything that's rooted in Tokyo. Look at Nintendo as well: services are not consumer friendly, value is driven by the big name stuff and kid market, which is their bread and butter. Sony needs to take a really, really hard look at the future of their business model, but honestly I fully expect them to continue down the same road and enter a slow decline. Which is a shame, because I don't want MS to take over gaming and be the big king shit, in the end they just turn everything into a revenue churn devoid of variety, and in the end, fun.
