College Football 25 - Title Update August 8th, 2024 - EA SPORTS

College Football 25's first big update is fixing a good bit of stuff, like getting a ton of skill points after random practices or UT changing your uniforms and playbooks when generating the best lineup. Not seeing much about similation stuff, especially coach's decisions, for RTG.

Eh, a lot of collectors want the ‘most complete’ version physically so no update is required. So lower patches are not usually in demand.
 
Cat quest 3 dont need a demo for the ones that played the 1st 2. Its basically the same I bet. By the way I seen a sonic ripoff on the store something porcupine. While on the subject these small games at the bottom of the store list they gotta be shovelware right. Its weird seeing some of them having many reviews and good ratings. Has anyone on here tried them like lizard lady vs the cats and are those reviews paid reviews.

For those of you who feel the battery life for the Dualshock and Dualsense is too short I recommend using these OIVO controller recharger accessories from Amazon:

I used to always keep one controller plugged into the console charging while using the other one and then rotating them when one died before buying these things. Now, I just leave the 2 controllers in these controller holders/chargers when I need to recharge. I never really game long enough to end up going through 2 battery lives worth of controllers so I tend to just use one controller until it dies and then pop it onto the recharger. I then pick up the already fully charged controller to continue my game session. These chargers are actually on sale right now coincidentally.

One nice thing about these devices is that they use the bottom pins to recharge and save "wear and tear" on those USB ports at the top of the controllers.

I got the platinum in it twice. Dunno what the reviews are but its a terrible game and terrible experience. You could argue to its so bad it has some entertainment value. Its no means any good. Maybe for a laugh since its always on sale for $0.50

That's what I figured but man I think it was the one with 777 reviews and around 3 stars. Guess somebody likes it but it looks so bad idk why they do must be trophies hunters I guessing

Thank you! Loved the first cat quest. Didn't play the second yet. I bought the 'pawsome' edition as I only buy physical.

EDIT* looks like it's already gone... went up at 7 minutes early based on Wario64's tweet.

EDIT* I was on PS Direct since 8:55 AM CT (6:55 AM PT) and never saw any indication it was up... complete BS.

Vinny, the site crashed immediately. Checkout never worked. I'm still trying to log back in, it froze at the payment screen.

I was refreshing the site since 9:50am. I never saw it up early.

On two devices, my browsers are in a 'boot loop' refreshing and saying "an error occurred".
 
Yep. Same experience as every other time I've tried to get a controller from the site. Had it in my cart and it won't let me enter the credit card number so I can't checkout.

What is nuts is this is for a preorder, not even an item in stock and already made. They can make infinite of these based on preorders and make bank.

Sucks man- sorry to hear. The site itself worked fine for me... just didn't see anything with "add cart" from 6:55-ish AM PT to 9:02 AM PST... but around 7:03 AM PT, I clicked Wario64's link again and it popped back up and I was able to check out without any issue. I should note I used my laptop and was already/stay logged in on all PS websites- maybe all that helped?

Unfortunately, now the site is so bogged down that it can't even login to my account properly on incognito so it's defaulting to guest checkout which keeps popping up with errors. Thanks for trying. I'm guessing I'll just have to get lucky and get it from another site if they go live.
 
I'm telling y'all... at this point it IS a scam. As gospelman said, the amazon product page doesn't work. You can only buy this product with secret twitter links... none of this makes sense.
 
I can't add it to the cart even with Wario's "special" Amazon link. This is a crazy fumble, and for only a controller. I can understand more so if it was a console ready to ship, but a controller preorder that's a month away yet? The hell?
 
The scam continues...

Just placed an order at target. And the secret link for amazon worked two. So far for now I have two on order, if these orders 'stick'.

The sony website now lets me log in though I still cannot checkout there.

I knew this would happen. The hype for this game is pretty high it seems and scalpers probably are relentless right now getting these pre-orders in. I'm happy I was able to get in early and look out and secure one.

Just checked out at Sony. At first I couldn't type in my credit card. Now they enabled logins and payments.

I'm surprised best buy is silent in all of this so far today.
 
I got a preorder in at Walmart. I wanted to use Target since I have my birthday promos plus Honey cash back to use. I'll just keep checking throughout the day.

Probably go live at Best Buy around noon Eastern. Feel like they’ve done that before.

Edit: I forgot they have their dumb “drops” now. I predict it will either be a drop or locked behind a member paywall.

I got an order in at Target finally, to use my birthday discount and Honey cash back. I'm fairly confident it'll hold, but I might keep my Walmart preorder for the time being just in case.

Yeah, I knew this controller would be popular, but not THIS popular. But maybe it's true to its name is is more of a limited edition.

I haven’t had good luck with preorders at Target so I might not cancel it just yet.
 
Ended up with separate preorders at most of the retailers. What a shitshow early on. I firmly believe a lot of this isn’t hype, it’s resellers trying to screw others. I’ll cancel the extras in case of issues, such as target falling through or Amazon canceling orders due to it really not being sold from Amazon.


I own the hogwarts controller that was PS direct only. That is a collectible. Controllers that are widely released like this usually aren’t rare or hard to get, just hype up front and around launch.
