or u can buy it bestbuy.com sealed for 43$ shipped and get a free 15$ gift card!!!! this poster is a loser, no one pay any attention

TheFreshPrince, your trying to sell a game for more than what we could easily find it new for so your pretty much asking for these comments.

I basically bought 2 for the price your asking with the gift cards.

stop spamming, all of you.

the cards are $22 with tax....forget about that?

and, you don't have to go all around searching different stores for them....forget that there is something called GAS?

go ruin somebody else's thread

Well, actually:

Who runs around looking for merchandise anymore? It's called a telephone. Shame and a pity some of us are unable to comprehend how to use one.

His deal isn't exactly saving ANYONE money or offering them a sense of compensation. Some of us are more vulgar than others, but the fact remains that he's clearly out for ripping someone off (even past the point of being subjective).

But hey, there has to be at least one fool in the crowd to accept an ass raping.

It's not as bad as when he wanted $150 shipped for his Sports Dreamcast with a controller and VMU. He said that they were "rare, not even sold on eBay!".

There is no tax with microsoft points.
You just got owned TheFreshPrince
I hate to defend thefreshprince, he's on my ignore list, but if you buy microsoft points, there is tax, whether on retail or through the console, so, yeah, he's still overcharging though.

I guess it depends on where you buy it from, here in california, I buy points from stores and I don't get charged tax.

yes please send me a points card for 24$ shipped. id much rather pay $2 extra for the code plus another $2 for a 40 cent stamp, then just buy 1600 points over Live for $19.99.

i'm in CA too, Los Angeles Area, and I bought from two different Best buys yesterday and got charged tax. I think it depends on what store you go to, not what region. However, microsoft does charge tax for them.

I was going to try and grab a free card when I buy another year of Live at Circuit City, but maybe I'll just go this route. Gas is a killer...
Shouldn't this be in the Deals forum?

You're charging $2.01 more for XBL cards then Microsoft does? Hell, even if I bought it at the store by tax wouldn't be that high.

RIPOFF!

NEVERMIND the whole "buy 2 accessories get one free" deal at Circuit City *RIGHT NOW*

I love how he clearly is trying to bilk people (he didn't even have the decency to wait until either of the deals were OVER before posting) and the community is therefore ignorant. On the plus side, it's the community looking out for each other.

Wait 2 weeks, then come back with your points card and I'd wager you'd get something decent in a trade. You'll never sell it at $24.

Well first of all, I don't believe you're supposed to have more than one open Thread in the CAG Video Game Trading Forum. If you wanted to sell these, you could have rolled them into your also active TRADELIST.

Second, if anything the community proved it is no where near to ignorant, as they've given their fellow CAGs advice on where to find the better deals (which to my mind is the very reason most of us visit CAG in the first place).

id return them and buy them somewhere else. they arent supposed to charge tax on the MS points cards. they are like gift cards or phone cards, they are cash value so they are not taxable.

I belive the community is far less ignorant than the OP, as they have pointed out many instances in which to purchase said items cheaper. If anything, OP, you are ignorant in trying to sell things at greater costs to this community.
go back to Bel-Air biatch, these prices suck
 :applause:

Hilarious. In all seriousness, though, we should just give it a rest at this point. His intentions are squashed, our opinion was made. It's only going to get worse from here and when a mod finally shows up nothing nice will be said. Ya know?

Yes, we are ignorant because we won't pay more for an item that is well stocked at many, many places. Hell, even my local 7/11 sells MS Points now!
I love threads like these lol
Really shows how much love the CAG community has for one another

Seriously though, this was pretty mean...if you think what he is selling is overpriced just don't buy it. No need to threadcrap in his thread. No one responding would give him the idea that his prices are too high.

hey it really does, we might tar and feather the OP but in the end were just looking out for eachother ;)

But if we all share our thoughts then maybe he will realize NOONE on this site is going to go for it. so then maybe he could A: lower his prices or B: not clutter up the forums with crap.

it is fun seeing a thread like this every once in a while though.

I understand that the OP's post may be overcharging to you guys, but what does it matter if you're not paying it? Just let it be, if it sells it sells, if it doesn't oh well.

A deal to one, might not be a deal to another. There's no need to come in here and trash someones thread just because you think they're over chargining for something. I think that about alot of things here, but I don't bash them, cause I know if someone else wants it, it'll sell

Does it hurt you if the thread is there? Does it affect you in any way if someone does/doesn't buy his stuff?

There is a lot of crap worse than this, just look at the Off Topic forum.

7. No threadcrapping in TL's. If someone has a question or concern about pricing in a TL, please take it directly to the OP of the TL. Threadcrap, as well as insult posts will be looked at seriously. If you don't like someone's prices, don't comment.

Some people should learn to read

There should not be - I'm pretty sure GameStop doesn't charge tax on Microsoft Points, Wii Points, or subscription cards, last I checked.

At the same time, we don't really want poster's starting to habitually post obscene prices in hopes that someone will be stupid enough to pay them.

A little abuse can go along way to helping that cause.
