Gotta figure they might print a retraction on this, but you should be able to get a price match at other stores with the flyer.

I got it day 1 and am completely overwhelmed by how good it is, haven't touched It tho since the xbox came out but that will change one I'm able to transfer over all my shiny ev trained pokes
 
So... Is this 19.99 and comes with a 10 dollar gift card?

Edit: just kidding I don't read. When buying 2. Would it work with two purchases of pokemon y?

I've already opened both of them and have been playing them, will Walmart still take them back?  And also I'm not sure if the game saves are on the SD card or the game card itself.  I do have the receipt though.

Haven't finished Black V2 but I'm still tempted to get this.

Like you suggest though OP, likely this will be retracted and not honoured, and I ain't going to Walmart !

 
I guess i will pickup 2 copies so i can get the $10 gc with it as well.  I will go out first thing when they open tomorrow.   This is a great deal once i pair it with my Amex $5 promo as well.

I meant return the games brand new from toys r us to walmart if you still have the receipt.

Yes, you have already opened the ones you bought from Walmart, but if you buy an identical item from another store, you can return it (the new/sealed one) to Walmart with your Walmart receipt.

Duh. Thanks guys, I wasn't thinking. Also, I think people are saying to PM Best Buy because of their ultra lenient policy and they believe the ad will be retracted.

If i were to pick this up today at Toys R' Us for retail price, will they honor the discount tomorrow of 19.99 and return me the difference? 

 
quick question: based on previous pokemon games, do you think the price will be lower than that?? My backlog is HUGE and I don't think I will touch this game for at least a few months, but I don't remember any pokemon game being cheaper than 19.99. What do you guys think?

 
Awesome. I'm going to buy 2 copies of minecraft to send to Amazon, then use the $10 gc to purchase pokemon y!
 
Pokemon games rarely go on sale, and never ever under $20 new so there's no reason to wait.

Gift cards aren't active until 6 hours later, so careful with your purchases. These door busters only last for 3 hours each day.

From the ad, it looks like it's a 2 day price... not a door buster. Looks like the $10 gift card is the door buster.

 
Wtf TRU has a completely different flyer for San Diego zip 92122.... Anyone else have a different ad? I can't PM this locally nor can I even try it at my local TRU....

Yes, my ad was completely different as well. I printed this ad, but since it's got the address at the top... I don't know how much trouble Target or Best Buy will give me on PM.

Man, that sucks. I had no idea that TRU did regional ads. I'll modify my original post.

Make sure you keep scrolling. It shows the weekly ad, then you get to the end and it shows the 2-day ad. Mine is the same as OP, shows all the same games at the same prices along with the GC offer.

 
My ad is different and doesn't include that. However it does have 50% off select Wii U games, including Scribblenauts Unlimited, which should end up $15. I'm in for one at that price!

 
Wait - now I did find it! It's in a separate ad listed on the left when you are at the first page. "2 day sale". Interesting!

You are absolutely correct, thanks! When I brought up my local store, it had a little picture just to the left of the first page of the weekly ad that mentions the 2-Day Sale. Click that link and I've got the local 2-Day ad. Thanks again.

My ad looked different at first. But if I scrolled through the ad at the end was a "2 more offers" and one of them was a 2 day sale, on page 3 it had the pokemon Y for $20. At least my current 98383 zip code does.

Why would they not honor it? It's pictured, clearly priced, and the Sku under the picture matches

They just have away tons of games to sell tmnt and angry birds, if thryre sitting on a ton of extra copies of pkmn y, why not?

Is the Pokemon X on sale for 19.99 too?  Not sure what is the difference between the two, but I might want to pick up one of each for the kids if they both are priced the same.
