The new stipulation put forward with the Tag match makes it obvious as fuck who is NOT going to be winning on Sunday.

Why do they do this kind of stupid shit? It really takes the remote possibility of any type of suspense out of things.

 
After reading reactions here and reviews elsewhere, I'll probably be passing on 2K15. Or maybe picking it up super cheap like $10 or so.

On the bright side, it's one less game I have to worry about playing.
 
Kevin Kelly and Steve Corino are the closest thing to Monsoon and Heenan.

I noticed last night WWE added a playlist and a Resume Playback feature on the PS4 for the Network that brings you into stuff you've not finished watching.  Simple but highly appreciated.

 
I actually like 2K15. Collision detection has been better than it was in older versions. Love how they struggle to reach their feet, pull themselves up by the rope, etc.

Matches feel like matches. It's a good thing. Can't wait to play more.

That's exactly how it works. You hover over the WWE 2K15 picture on the PS4 dash, click start (option?) then go down to information and it'll show you that it's not done downloading, just means it's downloaded to a playable state. Once it's fully done, everything is unlocked and normal -- you just have to wait a little while longer. It does this with pretty much every 2K and Sports game on the new consoles.

Yeah, I've noticed that EA Sports games do this too. I had the same thing happen with the early access edition of Madden. If you start it before it has completed downloading, you'll only have like a basic "play now" option and everything else will be locked. It freaked me out when it happened because the DL said "READY TO PLAY"...but it's like "Ha, yeah...not really".

 
TNA announced some deal with Destination America for TV starting in January. Can't wait to start continuing to not watch it.

Good for people having a place to work I suppose, but I can't imagine pay will be as good as it was previously, and I was kind of hoping it would vanish and the talent that was worth a damn could go to better promotions (ROH, PWG, Lucha Underground, and whatever GFW turns out to be...even if it's just a bridge to America for Japan and Mexico promotions).

Best part of the press release:

Ooh, I confused Destination American for some news channel that's more or less "Fox News is too liberal for us," but that's One America.

I'll probably DVR and delete it, assuming that I get this channel. I've seen it on my tv guide, but it may be in one of those "premium" tiers that I don't feel like shelling out scratch for.

Good for them finding a contract. Is ROH still on (Sinclair?)?

On next gen downloads it gives you a few GB download at first then downloads the rest of the game in the background. So you only have access to so much until everything is done. NBA 2K does this as you can only play a Finals rematch until the download is done.

If you go into the installs on your system you'll see the rest of the game is downloading in the background.

fuck everything about that rope hang legdrop spot in the Knockouts title match tonight.  There was no way for that to look good and about 10 ways it could have gone terribly wrong.

Weakest episode of Lucha Underground so far, but it still had a solid Fenix-Pentagon Jr. match.

Impact thoughts -

Show opened with a great recap of the Roode-Lashley stuff. Then Roode came down and talked about stuff and Lashley lightly jogged for a walk and brawl. God that sucked. EC3 cuts a nothing promo about Spud, but at least his pompadour ruled. They announce the best of shows start on 12/3 and air a great video for Havok-Gail-Terrell. KOs three way was pretty good at points, but a bit sloppy too. Taryn's win felt like a big-ish deal and I liked her beating the first KOs champion to win it. Melendez-King sucked and was capped off with an MVP attack that was killed by him looking ridiculous.EC3-Spud thing was enjoyable, but it didn't do much for me and I dig everyone involved in this. Hardcore match was stuff. Nice diving Hart Attack off the second rope from Dreamer - I'll be damned, for the first time in 15 years, HE INNOVATED VIOLENCE! Al Snow was crazy-ripped - loved him just showing up in his gear ready for a fight. X Title 4-way was a lot of fun, but these matches do seem a bit underwhelming in the era of Lucha Underground. The show-closing brawl was a cluster, but I guess we'll get Kurt-Roode-Anderson vs. MVP's crew on the first Destination America show, leading to Lashley's full face turn and then a title match afterwards. This was an okay show, but nothing really great happened on it - shame it's the final first-run episode on Spike.

So, I guess the Sheamus injury angle was to get him into surgery.  I'm assuming this isn't a work. 

During WWE Main Event on WWE Network, Michael Cole provided an update from Dr. Amann on Sheamus' condition. The Celtic Warrior suffered a left cervical neurapraxia (stinger in arm), bone spurring, narrowing of the spinal canal (spinal stenosis) and narrowing of the nerve canals (neuroforaminal) along with nerve compression in his neck. Sheamus will not be able to compete this Sunday at Survivor Series.

This was a shockingly newsworthy show given how blah most things were.  Bayley-Becky could've been good, but they were given less time than Cass and Enzo's promo. They teased Kidd-Balor and delivered Kidd-Parker. At least we're getting the former match next week. Vaudevillians thing was just stupid and the Lucha Dragons should've done something since they were the ones, not the heels, scheduled for action. Steen's promo video was pretty exciting. He's coming in as a heel, which is good and I hope we get either him costing Zayn the title, or Zayn winning and him immediately going into a title feud. They did a fantastic job tonight setting up the main event stuff, and that's way more than I can say for anything on the main roster shows.

I feel like they should just call CJ Parker up at this point...even if it's to lose on Superstars/Main Event. 

Not everyone has to come up to the main roster as a big deal.  Crowds are going to boo his act and he's a good guy for midcard faces to beat up on.
