Since I thought the cheap 3DS games thread was a good idea. I thought I would start one for the PS Vita. I will maintain this site a few times a day going forward. Post links up to new deals and I will add them to the OP. Anyhow, here we go:

I don't see the problem. People have late, missing, or damaged orders and are pissed off. Of course they're gonna want to talk about it.

There's not much else going on right now with the Vita anyway.

I have my copy of Shantae Half-Genie Hero pre-ordered and paid off already. I'm fairly sure I want Trails of Cold Steel 2, but I need to play a little of the first one before pre-ordering it. I got my vita upgraded with my 64gb card and am still enjoying Kenka Bancho Badass Rumble. Overall, I have a lot going on with the vita right now.

Back to ZTD, I didn't pre-order because... I didn't care. I still have an original release version of 999 to play and picked up VLR digital on Vita during that last sale which negates my desire to own it physically. I'm probably waiting for ZTD to be cheap digitally before adding it to the backlog.

 
Shantae is still not available at BBY :wall:, I would like to move my preorder there, so I can see all my glorious Vita preorders in one page.

Just finished Megatag from the last PSN sale, while it is exactly what I have expected from a Nep game, the battles were just too short, some taking less than a minute. Hope Sega Hard Girls will improve on that.

Good thinking. I know I will be selling some anime figures once I get them ready (somewhat moving now) and most are old and OOP so hopefully I get some people wanting them.

For Vita......honestly I can't say I have a lot coming up. Shiren is my only must have, as I'm a huge fan of Shiren the Wander since the SNES days. These are some of the best pick up and play games ever, so it can't come soon enough!

My maybes for the Vita are Exist Archive (honestly forgot about this and it got an October release date) and World of Final Fantasy. Honestly I can't think of much else I want, though I will be getting Trails of Cold Steel 2, but for the PS3.

All I have to say is I'm somewhat getting tired of Dungeon Crawling RPGs (such as the upcoming MeiQ) and Marvelous/IFI action games (like that Bikini game or the Sega Hard Girls action game). They just become a bit too samey and frankly all the ones I mentioned in this paragraph look somewhat lower quality and derivative. I will get them all eventually but less than $20 is my buy price.

I will likely get the Otomate games in the future (the ones released where good quality and I enjoyed them even being a dude), and future RPGs and junk.

 
Can you ZTD watch guys give me some advice on finding a better deal on a 64gb vita memory card? The best I can find so far is $94 new on eBay. 😀

Just be really lucky.

Those cards in general just constantly stay at deathtrap prices, so the best options are either finding someone with a card for cheaper on a trading forum, finding it cheaper on eBay, or on occasion, AWD will pop one up there, but that's like trying to find a magical unicorn typically.

 
64 gig memory card is not really being manufactured anymore I think? Just should be smart that if you get a good price on it, get it and a good price is likely $80 or below. It will just become more scarce with time. 

 
I'll probably switch my Shantae preorder from Gamestop to Amazon, since I have my free Prime trial right now. I like my Gamestop, but six dollars saved is six dollars saved.

Course, if it pops up at Best Buy, I'll probably switch again.

There is a vita specific forum here... It's possible for posts like that (complaints on game delays etc) could be posted there.

Not really complaining, but it can be done there.

I just skip over all the VN related posts anyway.

I get that feeling with roguelikes. It feels as if every indie game that comes out is a roguelike or has roguelike elements. I really can't get into them and I've tried.

I paid about the same on Amazon. There are two listings on there (when I purchased mine)... one for the Japanese version and one for the Asian version. The Asian version is in the $90's and the Japanese one was around $112. I'd rather go with Amazon than Ebay in this case since the money is basically the same for a known new item shipped from Amazon.

I agree with this. Some are really great (Binding of Isaac Rebirth, Enter The Gungeon, Risk of Ruin, Rogue Legacy), but a lot almost seem like grindfests where the "paywall" of sorts is slowly grinding up stats and items and such. I also dislike when random elements = roguelike.....yeah not always. Shiren is special since it was one of the original rogue type console games, but it's a huge buzz word these days. They do get a bit old easily....

 
Well most games I see these days are just rogue-lites, like Rogue Legacy (which is one of my top 5 games on Vita). I feel like true roguelikes such as Shiren or Sorcery Saga aren't very common these days. There is Pokemon Mystery Dungeon.
 
I'm not a fan of permadeath.  I don't mind as much random maps if the engine is good enough to craft some interesting stuff... but I'd much prefer a very well designed fixed map with a game world that I can get to know and remember over the long haul.

It's probably my fault. I just get frustrated by true, old-school rougelikes like Shiren, so I stay away from them. I like the new, diet rougelikes like Rogue Legacy and Isaac since there is a cetrain amount of progress that carries over between attempts. I feel like it allows for more experimentation and helps ease the frustration of getting bad luck during a run.
 
Edit: EBay account previously linked had been hacked, refunds given in a few days if you file a did not receive complaint.

Yea me to for shantea due to all the amzn credit i get. I only got the watches for collector purposes lol havent touched the game either
 
There's been a ton of account hackings as of late on eBay, and they just lists cheap things, and you end up having to cancel, lol.

I believe the last one that was posted on CAG the guy mainly sold auto parts before then, and the sales were all from a year back. :p

And now that I recall, those other listings had the exact same product description design too.  Let's see how long it takes eBay to send me that fraud email again.

Is The Rachet and Clank collection a good port (looking at the flash sale), or does it have some problems like Jak and Daxter? I have PS3 physical already, but I play my vita a lot more. Any feedback is appreciated.

It has some problems but not unplayable like Jak Vita.

I've heard others mention good deals at pawn shops for various Vita games cheap, so it wouldn't hurt to check on memory cards as well.

I haven't. I bought it, because I'll buy just about any dungeon crawler, just haven't gotten to it yet. Just like someone else stated, Etrian was my gateway drug into this genre. Couldn't stand dungeon crawlers before then, now it's my favorite genre. I just finished Steins;gate and plan on starting Stranger of Sword City next.

I've been playing it recently and compared to Jak and Darter's port, it's amazing. My only complaints in it are frame rate issues when it comes to explosions and ship controls in Going Commando, other than that, it plays really smooth and holds up really nice

Does anyone have a list of PAL cart releases not available in the US?

I'm aware of
- Muppets Movie Adventure
- Invizimals (possibly 2 different versions?)
- History Legends of War: Patton
- Ratchet & Clank Collection
- WRC3
- WRC4
- WRC5

I know there are more, though
