That's what I am saying. fuckin New Jersey was up before PA!

...but I'm at work right now so it's pretty useless to me anyway.

this is awesome, I had totally forgot my password to an account which I made with fake info.. and since it had auto log in, now im able to reset it and finally put all the Rock Band songs that were on it on my second ps3.
This is funny. It's like an election. With the map and all. I'm glad it's back but this drama to it is hilarious.
Al Gore should have won that damn election. He was totally cereal

He would have won if he didn't go ranting around about ManBearPig.

Far as changing your password. Do you sign in using your old one then it goes to that page where you change or what does it do exactly?

I haven't tried it personally yet, but from what I could gather on YouTube vids of excited people logging in, it goes like this:

1. Update to PS3 Firmware v3.61.
2. Sign in using the [PlayStation Network] -> [Sign In] option on the XMB using your existing (old) password. Logging on from other sources (i.e. in-game, Netflix, etc.) will ask you to sign in again using this method, probably to trigger the password change.
3. You'll see this prompt:

Change your password, and voila. Hopefully, when doing so, you don't get this message:

Also, it looks like signing into PSN from the PlayStation.com website has issues of its own, so I'd recommended only doing it from a PS3 where the PSN account is active on like what Sony said.

Yeah, signin with your original password, then it'll say it's invalid and tell you to make a new one.

I was able to do my main account, but I'm unable to change the passwords for my other users.

Yep. You sign in and then it prompts you to change your password. Not sure about having to use your old one since mine is set to remember/auto-login. Once you login it immediately takes you to a screen to change your password.

Well I just loaded up Black Ops. Looking at the map of current online players it seems people from Hawaii, Panama, Venezuela, Southern Brazil, and 3 parts of Europe are currently up as well.

Son of a bitch! I'm in the midwest so no matter which direction they start from I'm last! I'm downloading the firmware update now but seeing as only about 8 states are green so far I doubt I'll get much further.
I downloaded the update and it installed, but now I still can't sign in, just says Undergoing Maintenance just like usual...WTF?
Despite my dislike of your map, according to it Illinois should be getting PSN very soon.
