I'm a fuggin idiot. I never bought the Scott Pilgrim online DLC when it came out because I thought it was like some stupid online versus mode. Anyone wanna do them trophies? Bout to finish up the Metro 2033 plat. Been speedrunning the second playthrough. At the end now.

Don't forget that you also enjoyed Binary Domain. And Octodad.

Those new South Park tables for Zen Pinball are pretty damn fun. More of you should get them so you can admire my 131M score on the regular SP one.

(I'm looking at you Mild Pete. Scratch that itch. Scratch it.)
And oh yeah, like Velo said, I beat Yama tonight. fuck yeah.

Gonna start working on the Journal and finding that last random character.
Congrats! Much faster than I did it.

You did have the benefit of watching me best Yama like a boss first, though.

Any other children of the 90's? Talespin Vol 3, Ducktales: Treasure of the Lost Lamp, and Gargoyles: Season 2 Part 2 (previously all Disney Movie Club exclusives) are now being sold exclusively at Walmart for $9.96 each.

We finally tried out Sportsfriends today. Lots of fun but it's "Sports" games so no 3 player option. Only 2 or 4 - teams when over 2 players. Except Joust. That can be 3. The boys struggled with that one, though, but did like the other games.

Had to get that one last Atheon cheese in before the patch. Totally worth it. I was super fucking clutch with my self-res and totes got rewarded for it. We spent so much time on it too because some dude kept insisting he could do it solo. Once he finally admitted he couldnt, it took us like 10 minutes to pull off.

How many raid helmets do you have, Matt and Derek? Because I have three now. Suck it, nerds!

I'm tempted but aren't you another one of those guys who says they'll play with you but then does it with someone else? Hmmm.

I see rpg taught you how to cheat.

Deeeeeyum. I assume it's going to be patched tuesday? I have a checkpoint on it, but I already did the raid on normal this week. I assume I can't do it on hard now and get more shit.

Derek, now that I got some sweet helmets from that raid, I'm willing to forgive you for what you did. You can still be in our Wednesday night raiding group if you want.

It also helps that you had a super clutch move that one time where you saved our Templar fight.

Yeah it's being patched Tuesday. I did it with my Titan and Warlock and got the helmet I wanted. Now I can just run it on normal and have a good time with it instead of shitty hard mode.

I unno how the fuck you guys can get all the trophies for minecraft 3+ times when you guys are always playing that shit offline by yourselves.

After reading up more on the other choices I am going to go ahead and stay with my original poll choices for now:

Bayonetta (wasn't completely sold by the demo years ago, but after Vanquish I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt)

Blood Rayne: Betrayal (mixed reviews, some reviews say the combat is fluid and some say since you get locked into the attack animation it is harder to dodge makes me think the people who are scoring it down might be relying too much on button mashing. It looks like it has gameplay similar to Guacamelee which I loved.)

Giana Sisters (got it on the PC via a humble bundle but I'd rather play it with a dual shock)

Scott Pilgrim UE bundle (for the multiplayer DLC)

If I hadn't already beaten Portal 2 on the PC I would have picked it up.

Looks like a price drop on the Castlevania: Lords of Shadows Collection as it's $20 on amazon, gamestop, walmart. Can't decide whether to grab it now or keep it in the back pocket as filler to get to $35 for black Friday lightning deals (that might all sell out early anyway). Since it's already sold out and delisted on the PS3 on walmart and Best Buy I am leaning toward buying it now so that it doesn't go out of stock and out of print. I think I will just go ahead and get it now.

Comes with the base game, all the DLC, and Mirror of Fate HD, a port of the 3DS game. Castlevania: LoS is a disc only game so it will likely never be for sale on the PSN.

Before I saw your post I went through the exact same mental gymnastics trying to decide whether to go for it now or hold off (ended up ordering a copy for the same reasons you did.) Which means of course that in a month's time we can be super salty together when it's 9.99 on Black Friday with plenty of copies. Tales of Xilia LE all over again, heh...

Who is playing it offline or by themselves? I just started it on the Vita, but I am online in case anyone else wanted to join. Both of the other times I played I played with others (Stotch and Tyler on PS4). If anyone wants to play Vita now, feel free to join me. I need something to do besides watching the Gators suck yet again.

Drops stack. Sort of like the weekly heroic with coins. So you can do it on hard and still get drops. Btw, certain things only drop on hard. If you do hard first, you'll get 2x the amount of drops.

Chests work differently. The first and second Gorgon chests are shared. The rest are not. Someone feel free to correct me if I'm mistaken!

I really wish I would hear more about exotic chest pieces.
Gets funnier each time!

Went with a buddy to see Dracula Untold. It's actually pretty decent as long as you don't go in expecting a traditional Dracula movie. You know, like a ton of the fucking idiots reviewing it apparently did. Very strongly set up for a sequel and it's already well over budget at the box office (96m to 70m) so there's good reason to expect that to happen.

Still bummed about Dredd not getting a sequel.

Spelunky can suck my dick.

In my runs I experienced:

A trap collapsing in 4-1 and crushing my Anibus rod.

A shopkeeper playing Neo, dodging 5 bullets (3 above, 2 below) and killing me in the Black Market.

Get to Olmec with 12 bombs, crates above contained rope, rope, rope, rope, compass, mattock.  Also the chest behind the last crate I opened had a LIVE bomb I didn't see which blew me to smithereens, but that part was my fault.

Still, fuck that game.

Last week I did the hard more fight, and then the whole raid. I only got drops for doing the hard mode finish. The rest of the raid gave me rewards, but when we finished Atheon I got nothing. So either I was extremely lucky, or you can't get rewards twice. I've always heard it's one set of rewards, irregardless of difficulty.

Your tastes are also impetuous.

Bayonetta is amazing.

Bloodrayne is awesome except for a couple frustrating platforming sections. The combat is great. If people say it's bad they just suck at it.

Giana is tough and awesome.

Scott Pilgrim obviously is super great too.

Nevermind. Every time I look at someone playing it, it says playing alone. Anyway, doesn't matter since apparently I can't join across platforms.

I was going to get Bayonetta, but since you get it for free with Bayonetta 2, I figured no need for double dipping.

Do you have to be familiar with the whole Scott pilgrim universe for it to be good or no?

It would probably help, but no. It's a solid game without any familiarity of the universe.

I actually went game > movie > graphic novels, so pretty much completely backwards, but I still enjoyed all 3.

So pretty much the way I would go at it then, if I ever get to seeing the movie. I don't ever see myself reading the comics though.

Guess I'll buy it later :)

I would second the notion that you don't need to know the books/movies to enjoy Scott Pilgrim, but it adds much to the experience.

Grabbed Bayontta (not sure when I'll get to it but have been wanting it), Gianna (that games not messing around), and Mortal Kombat collection (because why the fuck not).

Also earned my free Fat Princess code. Damn good day for games kids.
