So start checking the store on Wednesdays. The time the store updates isn't some big secret or conspiracy...that's just the time it updates.

I understand this. It's just that while the main Sony corporation is a Japanese company, the arm that controls Sony NA is based outta CA(right?). So technically they should go by that branch of the companies time zone and try to get things updated in a reasonable timeframe.

But I keep forgetting that this is Sony we're talking about, the same company that got hacked and had their online service off for over a month and that took a first place spot from last gen and flushed it down the crapper with overpricing their console at launch. But I will still buy the games whenever the update finally gets done because I enjoy at least the PJS games and I can most likely find at least a dollars worth of value in the other ones.;)

I don't think I can pass up the $1 games but the prospect of a disc version is kinda scaring me away from the $5 games. At the same time with this sale you can get all the PS3 PixelJunk games (excluding encores) for $14...can't beat that.
 
Everyone needs to buy all the 1$ games (or the ones you don't already own) yo support pixeljunk and send a message to sony. Hopefully, sony will learn from this sale and offer more steam-like deals in the future. But we gotta at least support this sale first.

Had to chime in and say the pixel junk deal is sweet. Finally my patience to pick up shooter and others has paid off! I dub it "the games before they got weird with move" sale. At least what I saw from the "gameplay" videos of 4am, looks like something I could care less about.

Considering that most updates happen between 4-6 PM PST, I don't understand your whining.

Gotta love Sony apologists. He's not whining. What reputable business updates their prices mid-day to evening? Furthermore, what reputable business doesn't explicitly inform customers when said updates will occur? His only mistake was not considering who we're dealing with...SONY.

Anyway, this is a great deal! I'll definitely be picking these up. Thanks OP, I would've never known about it (due in no small part to the PSN store's dreadful organization).

BB carries physical cards online for shipping and in most stores.


This place has them as well for email delivery, but I've never bought from them. But they have a good reseller rating.

GS does not carry $10 cards. They only stock $20 and $50 cards.

That's being an apologist? Sony has almost always done PSN updates at around 4-6PM on update days even when they were on Thursdays. I assume you're going to call me a fanboy/apologist now.

On a related note, the store is updated. Besides the PixelJunk Sale, Cuboid and Magic Orbz are on sale for the 100th time for $5 each. (Cuboid is a decent puzzler, stay away from Magic Orbz). Looks like almost all the Uncharted 2 DLC has gone free. Ironic considering Xbox's DotW is several year old Tom Clancy DLC.

Anyways, nothing for me. Which is good, I've spent too much lately.
 
Sony's been really good lately about getting the store update published by 5pm. I hope this and the fabulous plus offers continue....

Buy slot cars! It has 10-15 different mission types, some of them extremely fun. The trophies were fun, challenging, and rewarding to get. Playing with others is a blast, especially because there's lot of ways to get in each others way and screw them over.

I wonder if there will EVER be a PS+ splash on the Vita, or Vita game sales. Sony wants to push it but seems to forget about it during the weekly update. I was even shocked to see one of the PJ games mentioning compatibility soon, and that should have been automatic anyway.

I had a couple dollars just wasting away in my PSN wallet and decided to pick up the 3-in-1 deal and Shooter. So $3 for 4 quality games sounds pretty legit to me.

I still don't see why they would want to push it, as PS+ was designed for PS3 not for their handhelds.

If they were to have their free game of the month be a PS Vita game (something like Super Stardust Delta) I think there would be a lot more angry non-Vita owners than there would be happy Vita owners.
