How does Zombia Apocalypse Never Die Alone compare to Dead Nation?

Also, fwiw, I enjoyed Sly 2 the most out of the original Sly games on PS2. 3 just seemed like more of the same.

ZA:NDA is a homeless man's Dead Nation, from the couple hours I've put into both of them.

Really poorly, imho. I got both free and would have been really disappointed if I had paid for ZA.
 
I couldn't bring myself to finish ZA:NDA. I HATED the voice acting, especially the hipster doufus kid.
"Liek, totally OmG liek awesome", who thought that wouldn't get annoying after 20 minutes? Eventually I had to turn the voices off completely, and from then just didn't care about the story or characters.
Dead Nation was a much more polished effort. The DLC wasnt really worth it IMO, but the core game was intense.

I'll probably pick up Sonic 4 Ep I; I'm pretty sure it's been cheaper on Steam and am sure it will be cheaper again on Steam at some point (probably during the summer sale); but some games I just greatly prefer to play on consoles. Anybody have any opinions on Sonic Adventure, I'm thinking about that one?
 
It is free for me, as I have PS+. But with so many other games to play I look to my peers as to whether it's worth downloading and spending a few hours experimenting with or whether that time is best used elsewhere.
 
Finally finished Sly Cooper and it's a very good game. The last set of levels started out easy at first, but there is one in particular that was a complete pain in the ass. I also wasn't a fan of them holding back one safe until after you beat the final boss, though what's in there seems to be for the speedrun mode.

Starting up Sly 2 now.

That guy is actually from a web series/TV show. Either they were big fans of the series or they thought it would actually increase sales of the game lol

Sly Cooper & Sly Cooper 2 were my first 2 Platinums. I love the series and had to take a break from #3, those damn time trials. Hope the new Sly Cooper will be good.

I'm not sure if it's been discussed but I've tried to download The Escape Plan demo (5) times already and I keep getting an error when I try to start. Anyone have this happen? Anyone know how to fix?

The newest optional firmware has caused an error to occur when trying to start the Escape Plan demo. If you didn't download the newest firmware, maybe it's something else? I did read a comment on the PS blog, from a sony employee, that said they were looking into the issue, though.
 
Magic 2013, woot woot. Has PSN ever done the bundle sales like Steam does? If so, I might just wait on this one until that type of bundle comes around (the last two Magics I just purchased right away at $9.99).

edit: by that, I mean the full game + all DLC for around $9.99 or a little over.

yeah i just picked up magic 2012 like maybe 2 months ago as a bundle with all dlc for like 9.99.
I don't even think it was 2 months ago. and wow 2013 already? seems a bit soon
i got magic 2011 free with psn+, and thought for 9.99 why not with magic 2012 bundle. peace all
 
I finally decided to download the 300mb+ update for Dead Nation last night and then found myself playing the game for the last 3-4 hours non stop.:lol: Definitely not bad....especially for free, since it was one of the games I got from the Sony hacking incident.

I already finished the game once, but I'll probably go through it again for the hell of it.

Nice, in that case I'll just wait until the DLC and eventually bundles come out for Magic 2013.
 
Anyone know if there will be some bonus months like last year for signing up for PS+ again with the 2nd anniversary coming up?
I know last year it ran June 28 to July 11 with Buy 12 and get 3. My PS+ runs out in 5 days. I can wait a week to renew for a few bonus months. But now that I have LBP2, my son will want me to renew ASAP.

I think Dead Nation is one of the best games on PSN. The DLC was worth it to me as well. Fun times.

So our free Wipeout 2048 DLC (for those who own Wipeout HD + Fury) is finally coming out? Sweet. They did say Spring, so they are technically still correct by a day or two.

My question Is, I own both, how do they know you own both? What do I have to do so they know and I can get it free?

It's connected to your account. The items to download would be listed as purchased. There's no sneaking around it.

So when you get Wipeout 2048 it will all be combined. For example I got Marvel vs Capcom 3 SE. I got the DLC characters. When the Vita version came out the were charging $4.99 each for Jill & Shuma. Capcom set it up that if you purchased them earlier you can get them free. There was a $4.99 purchase then under that was the free version. So as long as you have the Wipeout & Fury you will be ok.

I got it after buying the required games during last years promotion and yeah, it isn't so great alone. Dunno how the online community is now.
 
So the GF and I had a 5 hour session of Ratchet and Clank, and stores because a timer expired and kicked us out. Ended up losing about 45 minutes of play.

Kinda annoyed, since I could have kept my disk version if I knew the PS+ version would have problems.

Anyone encounter anything like this with PS+?

Never downloaded a 60 trial before, btw.

So you were playing the full game trial and it ended before you finished the level? That game doesn't have mid-level saves, so you have to finish the level before quitting or you have to start over the next time you play it. It's not a problem with the PS+ version, as that's just how a full game trial works if you don't save by the time it's over. You probably would've been better off just downloading the actual game and you would not have run into that as long as you finished the level.
