If it seems like the store hasn't updated and deals are not available anymore, that means they're updating the store at the moment. That also means that you waited until just after the last possible moment to get it.

Does this mean the current Star Wars movies are going into the vault? The only benefit I see from this is the fact that Disney is a complete sucker for re-releases and money and might consider releasing a Blu Ray collection of the original, unedited films.

Downloading Okami right now! From what I've seen, you can't find it in the normal sections. You have to specifically search for it as of a few minutes ago. I also downloaded the avatar pack for 49 cents.
 
I guess I am the only person in this thread at least that thinks Okami looks like a boring artsy fartsy game. I guess I will be called out as a jerk now for not liking a critically acclaimed game. Espectially one I have never and will never play :)

As very tempting as it is to get Okami HD, I think I'm gonna wait for a discount to work on some other stuff (ZoE HD, Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward, & other things I can finish).
 
yes its very slow loading the store, i figured the net was affected by the storm since youtube is loading slow too for me.
 
Huh... apparently someone heard my complaints... I had my demo download paused on my Vita and I just started it back up again and now I'm getting 1.5-2 megabytes/sec. Now we're cooking with gas!
 
fuck, I was really hoping for a sale on Okami, but it's one of my favorite games so to show support I'll DL it day 1. Here's hoping for a sequel (from Platinum, not Capcom. Okamiden was crap imho)

If not, then Okami or maybe Dokuro for your Vita? You could also look at DLC.

Agreed. While demos can be helpful, they don't always accurately portray a game. Another good example of a game with terrible demo is Borderlands. I think this is one of the best sites to ask people for an opinion!
 
If you want to know in advance, Persona 4 Golden requires 3137 MB of space for the digital version. Finally got to redeem my review code, so I'm looking forward to playing it for the next few weeks for review.

I don't remember Borderlands having a demo at all.

This post was lost in the arguments, but I'd like to comment.

I disagree with bolded, even though I have a 700gb HDD in PS3. It's almost full too from PS+ stuff, game installs, etc. But I don't think any current games are limited by "space" yet, as they all fit on 1 Blu-ray. So I don't see a benefit to digital media as being not "limited".

Blu-ray discs hold what, 50 gigs? As far as I'm aware, no game has broke this "cap" yet. Wii/U/Xbox are behind ya, but rumor is Xbox is asking Sony for Blu-ray next console. FF13 is 37.6 gigs and fits nicely on 1 Blu-ray disc. I would not want to have that on my HDD taking up 37.6 gigs, not even considering the DL time.

Games like Ratchet All4One are like 14.4 gig, on PSN, and was free for PS+. Those games can add up, and I'd just rather have disc versions eventually because of this. So considering how Blu-ray is 40+ gig and not many games come close, I don't see how digital games would be any better w/o restrictions. In fact, larger digital games are a downside to me. I'm laughing nervously internally at the WiiU 8g and 32g models, like those will last long "next gen" when it's already outdated.

Seriously...
This is the type of crap that helps keep the Vita from its full potential. That should've been a download only $20 game.
The same thing is true of any game with 'Monkey Ball' as part of the name.
It's better than nothing, but when publishers are not bothering taking a single risk on the system, it's not going to get any better.

Eh, I don't think a $20 Spy Hunter game would help the Vita reach its true potential. Games like AC Liberation and Ragnarok will.

No argument there. My point was that adding garbage to the library of games is not going to improve the current situation. I'm sure Sony is just encouraging anybody they can find to develop, but an ugly game is still an ugly game.

yeah looks like im grabbing dungeon defenders 4th addon and shoot many robots to conclude the $100 bucks. shoot many robots looks wicked fun and plus doesnt seem to want to include it anywhere.

I wouldn't count that as a "demo" or anything like that since you played the first 60 minutes of the final game, which makes it the fault of the developer for not putting whatever it is that you think the game is all about up front and center.

If your buying it today, Odin Sphere already went back to 9.99 on PSN. If not, then yea just get an avatar.

I'm only about 33% into it but it's a quality puzzler game. It's definitely puzzles, there's very little platforming or anything else going on in the game. But if you like puzzle games, I'd say pick it up.

It's an action-adventure, a la Legend of Zelda. Games like Flower and Unfinished Swan are what I'd define as "artsy fartsy".

You're welcome to not have any interest in a game, but as you mentioned, you haven't played it so nobody is really going to put much creedence into your opinion.

No, I feel the same way when I played it (for Wii). I felt like after the novelty of the unique art style wore off, it revealed a game that was basically a dumbed down Zelda with fewer charming characters and interesting environments.
