I also got my $20 notification on my PS3 but for some reason the message didn't show up on my Vita. How would someone who only purchases things on their Vita ever get their $20 back?
Apparently emails are sent out as well because I just got mine and it had the code inside it as well. So people with only Vitas would need to watch their emails.
I had the same problem with hmmm I think Bloodrayne. I "bought" it free with PS+ but it appears as if I didn't and the same error appears, but with Bloodrayne, not LBP.

I believe it is just a glitch from the new store.

Talking about the new store, I like the look, but it waaaaay too slow for me. I'm really missing the old store, even though that one was also slow, but not this slow.

**It's in my History though.
It is a glitch, fortunately. Apparently they are working on it.
So if i don't own a psp or vita can i just download the persona games to my ps3 and play them?
Only Persona game you can play on your PS3 is Persona 3 FES (the PS2 Classic). For all the others you need either a PSP or Vita.
So if i don't own a psp or vita can i just download the persona games to my ps3 and play them?
Only P3:FES.

If I download Patapon, can I play it on my PS3?

srs note: Weren't they (Sony) supposed to talk about PS+ for the Vita this week? ._. Either way, picked up the Persona games. Trying to play he first one now. Man, what a difference from 3 and 4. Loving Shoji Meguro's work on the game, though.

P3P an P3:FES are, like, totally worth buying.
I'm surprised after all these years people are still asking if they can play PSP games on PS3.
When the PS3 launched it could play all PS2 games. Then with the 80GB it could play most of the PS2 games. After that none of the new PS3s could play any PS2 games. Now they're selling PS2 games on PSN. You've also got the God of War PSP games and Peace Walker ported to PS3 which might lead some to assume that the PS3 supports PSP games. Now the Vita can finally play some PS1 games.

All this cross-platform software might be tough to keep track of if you're not paying attention.

God forbid someone actually looks into something or reads the article.

Persona 3 FES is a steal at 5.
Can't believe I got both that and P4 at 30 bucks each just a year and a half ago..

Just curious, but has MGS for the PS1 gone on sale ever?
I don't feel like paying 10 bucks for a 14 year old game.
lolwut
Was his post really that hard to understand?

Definitely have to love Sony's move of taking away something that was included at launch to save money and later charging people for it years down the road. Never know what to expect from a company that thought the PSPgo was a good idea.

They said there would be an announcement in November, but they didn't give an exact date. So as soon as the calendar turned to November, tons of people on the PS Blog started posting that Sony lied and where is PS+ for Vita. On Monday's update, Morgan said the information was coming "very soon", which has only made people expect the information within the next five minutes. The blog comments are so frustrating.

Or ask a question.

Sony doesn't charge for backwards compatibility. They charge for digital copies of PS2 games. Big difference.

The only reason I ask is because the last I heard, over at the EU PS blog, the store and content manager said "... Look out next week for some news on the PlayStation VITA plus service." This was on the second of November. Thank you. ^^ Some of the comments on the blog are indeed frustrating.

Cause Sony is the only one that did that...

I also got an email with the code in case I didn't already see the PM on the PS3.
I would wait for the upcoming NIS sale. And if there's nothing you want, then you can buy Okami. Not like Okami is going anywhere.

Speaking of which, does NIS have any cool games on PSN for PS3 that aren't full-on RPGs? I have Legasista and I've enjoyed that, I'm just wondering if anyone can recommend any other NIS games I may enjoy.
Unless I'm mistaken, most of what NIS does are strategy RPGs and other weird games that aren't traditional RPGs, though most of what they have on PSN are for PSP/Vita. For PS3, I think it's just Hyperdimension Neptunia mk2 and Legasista.

Picked up Okami HD with my $20 back and been loving it.

Excellent HD remake. I'm also looking forward to the NIS sale since I've been waiting for the Disgaea 4 DLC stuff to go on sale. I'll definitely pick up the two story based ones for sure.
Sony doesn't charge for backwards compatibility. They charge for digital copies of PS2 games. Big difference.
But they don't allow you to play your physical copies. They therefore have some backwards compatibility working, but you can't use it unless you buy the games from them. How is that a big difference?

I refuse to believe that anyone is this fucking stupid. Do you think all PS3s still have PS2 guts in them but they intentionally broke them with an update? Its called emulation, jackass.

I see. Thank you.
the reasoning behind it, yeah.
My point was that Sony's cross platform support seems to be in a constant state of flux which that might cause a question or two to arise.
lolwut

Was his post really that hard to understand?

the reasoning behind it, yeah.
A "lolwut" post that the author felt the need to explain... Hats off to you, sir. We no longer have to wonder the reasoning behind it.
I'm having trouble finding the NieR DLC on the new PSN store. It was up for the old store. It's the only DLC, the World of Recycled Vessel. Any ideas?
Same issue here, but if you load Nier and on the title screen click downloadable content, it will take you to what looks like the old store and you can download it there for 6.99. Hope that helps.
BTW I assume Persona 3 can't be played from the PS3 right? My PSP is at a friend's house at the moment
-_-
I hope this is a joke...but if it's not, P3 Fes can be played on PS3. P3 Portable cannot.

So it looks like a beta for my Elgato Game Capture HD's Twitch.tv streaming update is out now, so I may have to do some streaming later today. I'll do some tests first to see how the audio is for the local recording first.

It won't be very long since I just want to do a short session (30 minutes to an hour), so I'll at least play a bit of When Vikings Attack and another game or two.
Cause Sony is the only one that did that...
I know Nintendo took GBA support from the DS systems but to this date has yet to sell digital copies of those games. Although the situation wasn't exactly the same, Microsoft did charge for access to XBOX games on the 360 but they also supported disc versions of those games through free software updates (yes, free emulation).

Since my lack of knowledge was enough to cause you to , why don't you educate me? I guess you might not want to waste your time on something inane, but you did take the time to platinum great games like Lost Planet 2 and Spelunker HD...so maybe pointless tasks are right up your alley.

I would pay for software emulation of disc PS2 games on my PS3.
However, since I'd probably only pay $10 or $20 absolute max, Sony would probably make a lot more money selling me digital re-releases.
Every PS2 game should get a PS3 digital release. There's a whole bunch I would up and buy right now.
Really? You're applauding that? That was one of the shittier insults I've seen on here.
Remember he dislikes me, so any insult is aces in his book.

if anyone is having trouble finding DLC for a game you can access the "GAME" homepage (as if you were going to buy the game itself) in the store and there is a tab for ADD-ONs on the left hand side of the screen, you can also get the demos, game vids, avatars, themes all from the main game. I am not sure if this works for retail only games, but games that have a digital release work that way. This is via the store not the game.

I'm not sure if anyone else is looking forward to Final Fantasy XIV when it hits consoles early next year. I'm willing to give the game a chance, since I have liked what they have been doing to fix everything with the game.

They just had a new CG trailer come out that should have your jaw drop. Always a plus having Uematsu come back for music too, just sounds so amazing. Hope you enjoy! :bouncy:
