Well the actual story levels are there but did you play the demo on PS3? I thought oh time trial levels are going to be stupid I hate those things. Instead they're these crazy remixes that at least to me were surprisingly fun.

 
Does anyone know is Of Orcs of Men($20) a sale or price drop?

Not a great week for sales but nice releases today. I'm glad I have almost a month to get the early bonus for Atelier Meruru as I was hoping to be able to wait a few weeks and still get it. Didn't realize Chaos Code was coming out so soon either and Stella looks like an interesting SRPG.

For me the best part of Origins was playing it with my kids local coop. It's a riot played coop. I probably wouldn't ever get the Vita version because it would be missing that. That's the bigger missing part for me.

i'm right there with you. i honestly really disliked 2d platformers until... rayman origins on my vita. and now i've played others on vita, and liked them as well. something about the experience on that oled is far, far better than playing on a big screen for me.

i actually even want to give LBP vita a chance, since everyone says it's even better than the console versions.

then i tried bit.trip runner on the ps3... and while i can tell i'd enjoy it on the vita, it just hurts my eyes on the big screen. So... i'll get this for vita, and hope Ubi makes good with free dlc levels or whatever. and if not? i'll still love it.

it's mildly annoying that they did this, and greatly annoying they did this on the down low... but i'll get over it. especially if they provide the levels later.

Not sure about better, but it's definitely easier on Vita. Can't exactly pinpoint why, but I'm not very good at LBP or LBP2, but the Vita game, I had no issues with. I'd be willing to bet that LBP Vita is one of the yearly swapout titles in November. Even though it can be had for $10 some places, I'd put money on it being free very soon.

I think it's something with the short throw of the sticks on the Vita. Most games it feels like a hindrance compared to the PS3 version but on platformers like Rayman and LBP they just feel that much sharper. Only thing I can think to attribute it to.

 
Another Dragon's Crown patch was released today in Japan, so hopefully very soon for US.

I'm playing as a wizard, crazy 50 hours investment in the last week, and he is already overpowered (as long as i dont get hit ;) )

That is awesome that he will get magic boost and can charge mp past cap now. also Amazon even more berserked ;)

Slow+FireWard+Blaze decimates everything in my path already. That Meteor is a joke spell tho unless you have teammates to tank for ya.

I should be done with hard and starting Inferno tonite. I just gotta solo Chimera and Kraken later...

oh n glad i didn't runthrough normal with everyone already as they patched offline quest progress will now be combined and not have to be solo for each player 1 character.

(im the wizard, wife is amazon, daughters are fighter, sorceress and elf. and i guess ill be the dwarf last)

I wish I could have gotten into it like that. Hopefully Diablo 3 will have that stickiness until GTAV comes out.

Speaking of which I'll probably be playing D3 the rest of the evening if anyone else is looking to play.

That's pretty good news! I'm playing as Wizard too and just beat the Ancient Dragon on Hard difficulty. I find it very hard to play solo at this point and online parties are hit or miss. Also, a week ago I went through about 5 or 6 dungeons on Hard in a row, only to get my game crash on me at the end and send me to the vita home screen. I lost hours of gameplay and many S-rank pieces of equipment :( I found it difficult to come back to the game after that...

Platformers aren't meant to be played with analog sticks. Use the d-pad.

I'm a little torn.  I can't decide whether to feel greatly relieved or disappointed that there wasn't a great unannounced sale this week.

Also for anyone planning to purchase Atelier Meruru Plus it comes with a bonus "Mushroom Princess Swimsuit" and "Small Straw Hat" but only until Spetember 30th.  Figured I should mention that since we're talking about swimsuit DLC.

After Totori was surprise released, there was a big stink about how there was no push behind the game. I guess they consider revealing a release date for Meruru a couple months ahead of time a decent push. I'm very annoyed at how they're handling these releases. At least Totori sold well enough to justify putting them on Vita in the US.

Yeah, I'm really enjoying Totori when I can find the time to play it but had never heard of the series before it went on sale. Other than occasionally seeing these weird Japanese RPG boxes at GS on occasion that is. It's a shame because you would think they would at least be able to come up with some low cost marketing ideas even if they don't think the game has enough appeal to spend a bunch of money on promoting.

And this is what turned me off. The map was too big. There were just too many rooms and I couldn't remember where anything was...especially after getting lost in the weird parts at the top of the map.

I'm glad I explored the top of the map last. Having a full understanding of the game's mechanics, I was still a little turned off by the really weird parts at the top section of the map. If I had hit that right away I would have been completely confused.

 
I might download that Dead or alive 5 f2p but with one piece and chaos code out today I don't think I'd play it for awhile lol. 

 
- MP "supercharge" has 3 stages. All of them have a blue aura, takes 2.5 seconds to reach full charge at max MP. Lasts 5 seconds. Gives a 30% damage bonus (wow) to wand spells AND spellbooks too!
- Size of spells grows much larger, at least double the size. I'm talking HUGE area effects here. Meteor FILLS THE ENTIRE *****-ing SCREEN.
- Slow has double the radius now. Without charging. Charge has seemingly no effect? Maybe it makes enemies slower...
- While the aura disappears while casting "big" spells (meteor), the damage and size bonus applies.
- Rapid fire "Snowflake" (Ice rod up+O) is... fills the screen... the damage.. oh my god... beautiful!

Dragon's Crown patch update notes for wizard... i might take a break til this patch hits US. I thought wizard was crazy op before...

hopefully this stops the hilarity when i slow the enemy, wait 10 seconds to cast meteor hoping i don't get knocked/canceled and then watching all the meteors miss the target ;)

lol I'm going to wait as well. my main is the wizard. guess i'll level my fighter. You use meteor? how is that spell. I always use blaze, slow and storm. also ice rod is soooo good :D

well from what I have seen. its an AOE kinda of spell so I wasn't sure if should put an point in there or just throw my points in to storm for my AOE and blaze for my single target.
lol I'm trying to only focus only on a couple of spells. so I have points for the good support skills such as deep pockets, Adroit hands and such lol.

I guess there is saves slots for an reason I should just it test out XD and reload if I don't like it

you also get 3 respecs per character (amnesia potion you get from floor 3, 6, 9 and 99 from loc).

Meteor was just kind of a joke spell and to use to get legendary strike cuz the 10 second cast is insanely long, especially if running solo.

i run slow+fireward+blaze and it melts bosses like butter. even red dragon/ancient dragon. and fireward increases fire damage and lets you cast fire spells in the water. (altho im still having trouble solo with kraken cuz he pulls the cave down before i can kill him, hopefully patch helps me there with larger radius on fireward/slow). I love doing fireward in the water and all the other players are like wtf as i light the water on fire and burn all lizard men/etc)

with this patch meteor seems like more of an option at least. worst thing ever is finally casting it and not hitting anything with it, lol.

 but really slow/fireward/blaze = dps madness. also while all that is going on just spam jump and fire nukes or ice flowers or lightning storms with your wand and it will +50% damage with levitation. or spam up+o and just watch the hp melt away. An Amazon and myself were killing evil rabbits and minotaurs and medusa etc in like 15 seconds on hard.

also i know some of them are inappropriate for kids, but my son sure loves all those pictures after the side missions. he really likes the gazer eye monster pix and the lil hell fox and cute animal monster and the midlevel mouse and mermaid and sexy girl pix. lol ;) my lil Link is already checkn out hot anime chix ;)

Link to a vid showing off blizzard graphic changes, wizards charge mp move, and ugly indicator arrows on bottom of screen. i understand indicators cuz i was losing track when i was in a group with 3 wizards yesterday, lol, but so ugly.

also wow, that damage really goes up 30-50% with mp charge boost. that's insane. i thought he was a beast before...

Oh I thought respecs were rare to get. lol I don't know if you played FF: Dissidia but that reminds me of the emperor long cast time on his homing meteor. ( I think it was unblockable too XD ) that spell sounds like fun I'll put an point in it and put it my other bag thanks for the information about it

oh yeah forgot fireward been putting points in to that too. It seems they want to make that combo you mention even more broken. :D
leviation gives + 50% man I need to level that up soon too I'm still at level one for it.
