I would be extremely happy if there were to be an extra discount with PS+ XD
on the last time not this one but the one before that, there was a 10% discount for ps+ members, I really doubt that Square Enix will go lower than that or if they do it again.

Because this last time they didn't give discount at all.

Here's the text from the post about Star Wars tables in Zen Pinball; my RSS reader had it cached. Unfortunately the screenshots have been removed and the video made private.
Zen Studios has been making pinball games for nearly a decade now, and today is one of the most exciting pinball moments for our studio! We are extremely excited to announce that Star Wars is coming to Zen Pinball 2! Zen Studios has been working closely with LucasArts to create an amazing collection of videogame pinball tables set in a galaxy far, far away!

The first pack of tables include Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back, Boba Fett, and Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Beyond these exciting tables, there are seven others in production as we speak, all to be revealed as 2013 unfolds.

Each table features a different iconic moment from the Star Wars universe, with interactive 3D characters and unique gameplay. If you have not yet downloaded Zen Pinball 2, it is pretty easy to do. The free download will give you access to a great library of pinball content, where you can download demos for each table and pick which you’d like to buy. All content is cross-buy entitled on PS3 and PS Vita.

We will be unveiling more details on each table over the next few weeks leading up to launch, so be sure to keep an eye on PlayStation.Blog or www.starwarspinball.com for the latest Star Wars Pinball updates.

May the Force be with you!

Edit: I found photos. Grabbing them and uploading, will post shortly. Looks fantastic.

It would have been listed in the PS+ Update post if it were happening.

I've got a retail copy of Katamari that I'd sell/trade cheap, I got it far cheaper than PSN's 'sale' prices and I hated it.

Big Sky Infinity is fun if you like blowing things up but you don't actually care to know what's going on. I like it, but it feels like I have no control over dodging bullets or not because I die when there's nothing on the screen. Also it has a trophy that's nigh impossible to get (people suspect it's ~200 hours of gameplay at least, but since 1 person in the world has it, who knows?).

Those are the best shots of each table in its entirety. Close-ups in the album.

I'll be picking up a few from that Final Fantasy sale but I have a question regarding PSOne Classics.

Is the text, such as that in PSOne RPGs, quite readable on a smaller Vita screen? I just got my Vita on Black Friday and haven't gotten around to buying a PSOne Classics game yet. Hate to think I'd be squinting a lot during such games...

I suppose it depends on the text size, but I've had no problems at all playing Xenogears. In fact I think that I prefer playing on the Vita to the PS3.

There's no additional PS+ discount on either the Final Fantasy or Namco sales.

Ok, thanks. Xenogears is actually my all-time favorite JRPG. Wish I kept my original copy.

Hmm good time to pick up some Final Fantasy games. I already have all the physical copies but playing them on a vita sounds awesome.

Also which DISSIDIA should I get or are all of them recommended?

Just get 012 it contains the original games story line. Prologue is just a demo for 012 that you had to pay for and I think it gave you Aerith as a assist in the full 012 game.

Seconded... Man I was such a dumb kid back then. I think I traded my copy to funcoland for I don't even know what now...

Thanks Clone.

Twenty-five years ago, our company launched a game called Final Fantasy. It was the result of a lot of hard work and dedication. It was also the start of a franchise that would go on to capture the hearts of millions of players around the world.

As we celebrate Final Fantasy’s 25th anniversary, we look back on a series that contains 14 installments, numerous spin-off games, and all sorts of merchandise. We are always impressed by the love our fans show for this franchise.

To celebrate this amazing milestone in the history of Final Fantasy, we’re putting a number of Final Fantasy titles on sale on PlayStation Network, starting when PSN updates tomorrow. For two weeks, the following titles will be on sale in PlayStation Store for 50% off.

PSP
Dissidia 012 [duodecim] Final Fantasy - $10
Dissidia Duodecim Prologus Final Fantasy - $1.50
Dissidia Final Fantasy - $10
Final Fantasy Tactics: War of Lions - $5
FINAL FANTASY IV: Complete Collection - $10

PS1 Classics
Final Fantasy Origins - $5
Final Fantasy V - $5
Final Fantasy VI - $5
Final Fantasy VII - $5
Final Fantasy VIII - $5
Final Fantasy IX - $5

We hope you enjoy these classic titles — the memories they evoke, and the new memories they will create.

I'll update this with pricing in a second.

Wish 3 was on sale as well. If Duodecim is 10$ or less I cant pass, hope the dlc goes on sale too

Looks like I'll finally get to try FFVII. Heard that VII, IV, and VI are the ones to play to understand what the hype is about.
VIII and IX are pretty great too. IX definitely mixes what was best about the older titles with the newer and VII is widely regarded as the best. VIII happens to be the first one i played so maybe I hold it in higher esteem than most.

IX is really only great if you've played all the previous ones. It's really a nostalgia trip. It's still good but much less so if you don't recognize all the references. That being said it's my second favorite behind VII and right ahead of VIII
anyone else have trouble accessing the PSN online store on google chrome? not near a ps3 right now
Works fine for me

Haha I hate Final Fantasy sales. I have no idea what anyone is talking about, all I see is a shit-ton of Roman numerals.

I think I'm gonna pass on Big Sky Infinity. I should have set up my EU PS+ account a few weeks ago and played it for free. Oh well.
Question about Dissidia. Can I just buy Dissidia 12 [duodecim] or do I also have to get Dissidia FF?
Get Duodecim. You got more characters, stages, music, summons, gameplay mechanics, balanced gameplay, addition of assists, AND it includes the original Dissidia game/story. Think of it as a semi-sequel with updated gameplay to the original, kind of like Super Street Fighter 2 or 4.

Was hoping for a sale on Final Fantasy III. Already have it on the DS, so paying full price for the PSP digital version doesn't feel encouraging.

Also, I hope there's discount on these for PS+ members. I have most of the PSP games on UMD, but if the digital versions are cheap enough I'll buy the games again, just to support the company.

Perfect timing for this sale. I just finished FFXIII-2, so I am on a bit of a FF kick right now. I will probably pick up FFVI-IX. 7 and 8 are two of my all time favorites, and I've never played 6 or 9. Just bough the PC version of 7 when it was on sale last week, but considering the price, it's worth it to have on both formats.

Going to be out of town for a while soon; is anyone aware of a mobile browser that works for the PSN Web Store so I can continue to gather free PS+ games while I'm away? No laptop or Vita, only a phone :(
been waiting and hoping for a Final Fantasy sale. Definitely gonna pick up IX, and maaaybe IV complete. Tempted to grab VII as well, as I haven't played it in over 10 years... On the fence about Duodecim; I played the original Dissidia and never beat it, and I don't know if this iteration is likely to hold my interest any more strongly.
Duodecim is VERY improved over Dissidia 1, imo. I have about 5 hours in, which flew by...there seems to be a ridiculous amount of content and an online mode. There's nothing like it, that's for sure. The fighting is a little weird but fun. The all-star Final Fantasy cast is fun. I guess my only complaint is characters saying the same line over and over when they do a move (and you repeat moves a lot b/c the move set is simple.)

Q: Is the online store optimized for mobile devices?
A: At this time, the online store is not optimized for mobile, but future plans are under consideration.

Dolphin for Android works you just have to change its Users Agent to Desktop.

I've tried Opera, Chrome, and Firefox too. Dolphin is the only one that works that I've got to work.
That might be worth a try, you can't beat free games and for free.
True, but you can't play the games after the month expires. In my case I'd love to play Vanquish, but my internet is so slow it'd take me 8 or more hours to download the game to play. I'd be lucky to play the game more than an hour a night, so more likely than not I wouldn't finish it anyways.

Maybe in the US we'll get it too, and then I'll get the game. Also, just discovered that we're getting Guardians of Middle Earth for free like the EU Store did, which is great! :applause:

I can't believe it works on the Vita...I've been waiting for way to long to get a chance to play the game and now I even get to get it on sale :hot: , though it would be even better if it was a PS+ free game :D

looks like my PS+ just expired. Are they still running that buy a year get 3 months free deal? I didn't see it on the PS store main page anymore. I may go ahead and just renew for a year if its still going on
IX is my favorite Final Fantasy of all-time and I've played them all bar XI and XIII-2. I absolutely love it.
IX was the first Final Fantasy game I played, absolutely love the characters in it, however this
FinalFantasyTacticsAdvanceGBACoverArtUS.jpg
is my favorite FF game of all time. I must of played well over 400+ hours into that game just maxing out all my characters and collecting the best weapons, doing dispatch missions, etc. Since the game was on the GBA I took it with me to every place I went and I played whenever there was any down/free time. I no longer own a GBA, if they port this to the Vita (or any other system really) I'd buy it in an instant.
