Meh......damn kids to hell. Despite me wanting Dissidia, i dont think i can pay 15$ for it. (Especially knowing theres a ton of DLC i could never even unlock now anyway due to exclusivity)

Either way, glad i got some PSN Cards, if nothing comes out i guess i'll just use them toward Warriors Orochi 3
No Xenogears! :(
Ironical that your sad that chrono trigger won.
somebody give me good and bad reasons to buy RE 4 when i already have the gamecube version

i keep going back and forth
Buy it so you can stop worrying about it.
All I wanna know is when the PS+ pricing goes live for these.

Resident Evil 4, Limbo, inFamous FOB & Angry Birds (don't judge me)
Goes live when the updates goes up, as always. Nobody knows when that will be.
Man I'm gonna drop some $ on PSN.

Finally going to bite on inFamous FOB (for $5 I don't care that it's so short) and RE4. Possibly going to grab Limbo too.

How is SF 3 for someone who only casually plays fighting games? I bought MK Arcade Kollection and got my ass kicked both online and by the computer.
Definitely skip it if you are casual.
dungeon defenders was up for 3 categories and didn't win any? wow
i already own it, but still! and lots of these prices are the same ps+ prices from along time ago aren't they? i guess that's good for people that missed them but still...
I'm shocked dungeon defenders didnt win at least once either. And yes, almost all the psn games have been on sale before. Significant whining took place in this thread last week. I was co-chair of the whiners committee.

I guess people really wanted Angry birds, but the ps3 version is really, really crappy. Slow down, and ugly graphics on a powerful dedicated gaming machine is unacceptable. Especially when this runs smooth on a really old computer and most android/apple devices.
CT has ass loading times between battles and some other annoyances right?
Yep. I love the game but I'm surprised this version of it won the voting. If you've never played the game before, why get this version? I thought Xenogears would win.

Bought a $20 PSN card today expecting to get Dissidia and Xenogears. Maybe I'll get Dissidia and Mutant Blobs Attack for the Vita instead. It'll just cost me a couple more bucks.
Ironical that your sad that chrono trigger won.
I'd call it a 50/50 split on the irony. ;)

I already bought CT during the spend $50 get $10 back promo a few months ago. Now I wish I had picked up Xenogears instead. Nerts!

I had assumed everyone knew about the PSOne edition being the inferior version of CT and would instead vote for Xenogears. I am disappoint.

The only game on the list I don't have is Dungeon Hunter: Alliance. How is the PSN version of this game? I know people crapped on the Vita version.

Also Velo I'm shocked Dungeon Defenders didn't place. Even though it was on sale not too long ago I missed the sale.

It was a decent game, i didnt hate nor love it.

As far as the Vita version goes, i think people crapped on it because it was literally just a remake of the PSN version, just with less features and almost triple the price

If you like hack-and-slash dungeon crawlers, Dungeon Hunter: Alliance is a good game. There's nothing amazing about it, but it's a solid game for a small genre on PSN.

Looks like I will finally be getting Infamous: Festival of Blood. I have been watching it for a while but at $5 I can't resist.

For $2 I might also get Angry Birds for the kids.

My thoughts exactly when I saw the list. Although, after reading about how shitty Angry Birds on PS3 is, I guess I'll skip that (even for $2).

Erk. Nothing for me. Was hoping Xenogears would win the Classic category and not Chrono Trigger since I already have it on disc. Only thing I want is Dissidia, but for $4 more I can get a retail copy.
Meh......damn kids to hell. Despite me wanting Dissidia, i dont think i can pay 15$ for it. (Especially knowing theres a ton of DLC i could never even unlock now anyway due to exclusivity)
Could you elaborate a little more on the exclusive DLC? I didn't really follow the game's release. I also thought it'd be $9.99 for some reason, so I'm debating whether I should buy it or not as I still have to play through the first one.

Off the top of my head, theres a few DLC packs that werent released on PSN ever. And there were a few that were only released if you brought a first run copy (Or maybe ANY copy) of Final Fantasy IV Collection and The 3rd Birthday for PSP.

I know for sure you cant get the Tifa Costume from Amazon.com without paying a crapton for a code (Not sure what they go for now, but a friend of mine sold one for 70$). Being a Vita owner, i know i'm not buying the UMD's for 3rd Birthday and FFIV just for a code.

So it's just some costumes? Eh, kinda sucks, but it's not a deal breaker for me. Now I just gotta consider whether I should pay the $15 now or wait for a potential $10 sale sometime in the future.

Yeah, its just costumes. Just a personal gripe for me, i hate exclusivity with DLC, kinda bit Square Enix in the butt though, hackers ended up getting all the costumes anyway lol.

Either way, 012 also comes with the full story mode for Dissidia too. Its a prequel, so you play through 012 then unlock the Dissidia story

Speaking about the Duodecim Dissidia DLC, is there any way at all to redownload DLC you do have (FFIV complete and 3rd Birthday costumes) to the Vita?

Gotta do it through the PS3 i believe, that or through the PC program. Dont think they ever added the PSP stuff to the Vita's store yet, not near mine to check now

I tried that, but for PSP DLC it says "Not downloadable from a PS3 system." So unless the game itself can access the PSN store (like Rock Band Unplugged), it looks like there is no way you are getting to it on the Vita unless they update the Vita's store. However, I did just now try to search for Duodecim and it is flagged as the poll winner with the discount, so maybe the store update is coming soon. It only shows the game itself, no DLC.

BTW, a bit of a side note, but I did find trying to play Rock Band Unplugged on the Vita to be a quite unpleasant experience. I suspect there is now lag that you cannot adjust for on the different screen. That, and it's hard to get a firm grasp of the Vita to push buttons and change tracks so quickly.
I'd call it a 50/50 split on the irony. ;)
Somewhere in the world a light bulb turns on as I realize your screen name is a combination of Chrono Trigger and Xenogears
Being a Vita owner, i know i'm not buying the UMD's for 3rd Birthday and FFIV just for a code.
3rd Birthday has been clearanced @ Target. I picked up the UMD yesterday for ~$6.

I knew all this and own the much more superior DS version....but I still voted (against my own interests) for CT. I just think it's better that people even play an inferior version of that game cause it rocks.
I only just played ChronoTrigger for the first time in the last few months

But the two games I was considering buying, I:FoB and DH:A, won so I'm fairly pleased.
somewhere in the world a light bulb turns on as i realize your screen name is a combination of chrono trigger and xenogears
;)

yeah wow. i love chrono trigger (MAGUS!) more than anyone, but ds and snes versions at my house play better than that loadtastic ps version. and with all the random battles it just eats away when it does that 1sec freeze to load up battles. it makes it seem even worse because there isnt a transition screen ala ff6/ff7, but just a frozen screen for a second. wouldnt be so bad tho if you never played any other versions. also ds version has extra stuff in it anyway, so yeah...

same with re4. id rather my gamecube/ps2 version, and crazy that this game doesnt get a plat but they found a way to give plants vs zombies (vita) a plat?

yeah dungeon defenders was 7.50 a month or so ago, picked it up then.

would have loved for xenogears to win, i got 100% wild on that game a long time ago. Krelian was so hardcore. and ramsus. and it even included a 3d brawler (lol) oooh and citan was so cool, especially when he pulls out and starts tearing it up with his sword late in the game.

and i remember picking up ff duodecim for like $5 at bestbuy months ago(but i dont even have a psp)

i wish some rarer games went on sale sometimes like wizardry or slambolt scrappers. wow im a major whiner too now ;)

i already own all these games and most on sale. i might pick up ac brotherhood for 15 tho and flip my 2 copies to amazon 13.50/each right now. anyone know the gigs? thnx

peace all and thanx cag/frisky!

oooh and emeralda becoming an adult and getting better in the battles. damn i need to play some xenogears again.

just found this xeno page. damn that shi cra. http://lparchive.org/Xenogears-(by-The-Dark-Id)/

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5emPg4hMCR4&feature=youtu.be BONUS CITAN SWORD DEATHBLOW FOOTAGE

also it is crazy that most of these games didnt start out on ps3. you got iphone games, snes games, 360 games, psp games, omg

Haven't played CT since the SNES days. Which version is the superior one if the PS version has annoying load times?

The slow load times for battles on PsOne actually turned me off of RPGs completely. I couldnt take the loading every 4 steps. Before that I was in love with the great SNES games like CT. Quick battles and a great story. CD loading ruined RPGs for me.

Yeah, Playstation spit right in the face of us trophy hunters on that one!

Also, welcome to the whiners club. I'd love to see slam bolt scrappers drop! Spelunker HD is one random game im dying for as well.

ugh i have already played RE4 on ps2, twice over. it was fun, but do I really want to go through it again? and for $10? would have for $5 for sure.

and was infamous FOB better in any way than infamous 2? i was pretty bored with it during my hunt for its platinum. float here, zap some people, float there, zap some more people.

everything else i have i think...

both best buy and gamestop sell psn cards online and will email you the code within a few minutes of purchase but with best buy make sure you get the email version and not the mail version.

The point if to use some cash I have, I have the money in my account but I would rather use some cash I have laying around

I'll pick it up after work tomorrow then come home and get the stuff

Ohhh, I thought it was a sequel. In that case, maybe I'll buy it and then play Dissidia afterwards. I own Dissidia and it's already on my Vita.

this is actually great advice, i bought it and now it is off my conscience

if i don't think the $10 is worth it for the game, at least i can finally play the ada mission that wasn't on the gamecube version
