I'm interested in hearing how Dungeon Hunter is, might buy it. Also, DL's the free Crane Girl theme for PS+, and she sure is nipple-y.
How is the Final Fight game? I believe thats the one with the draconian DRM, but at $5 I might go for it anyways.
It's a really good HD remaster of Final Fight and the other game is also good, though I hadn't heard of it before this came out. That's why the DRM was an unfortunate situation.

I've looked all over the internet but I cannot find any pictures of the MvC3 Avatars exclusive to the PS+ bundle. If anyone here has bought this bundle could you please take a picture of the Jill Avatar? I would really love to see what it looks like and I do not have PS+ :(

Well I put in about 5 hours last night. I am really enjoying it, there is definitely s shit load of loot to collect, like any good dungeon crawler. It can get a little difficult at times when you're being overrun by a mob, and the difficulty ramps up with the more people you're playing with. I would recommend it to anyone that enjoys dungeon crawlers

Here you go, sorry for the bad picture. I don't have a camera so I had to use my cellphone. I can't post a picture or a link as a new member apparently. But just copy and paste that an there you go :p.

Isn't the msrp $39.99?

I'll have to check out that free Blue Toad download. Thanks Frisky!

I'm a total nerd, but I am super excited they added those new MvC3 avatar bundles, and since Jill is the only one I want, I am even more excited her and Shuma come in a bundle by themselves and therefor cheaper than all the other bundles by $0.50!

Now I am very interested in this new announcement of the RE5 Avatars... I sure hope it's better than their Dead Rising 2 selection.

Thanks for all the consistent updates Frisky.
It's $45 to get all three games on PSN, so that's $5 off buying all three games together.
Amazon has those for $38. Maybe its msrp.

The PSN versions aren't on Amazon. They're $15 each and are now bundled for $40 together, which is $5 off of what used to be $45.

He's referring to the disc version, which is $38.99.

I don't know how good it'll be, but I picked up Red Johnson. I'll have to get Episode 1 of Blue Toad while it's free too.

PoP trilogy sells in Europe for 20 already, so expect the disk version to drop in price when it releases. so 40 still seems like your getting ripped off for 5+ year old games. then again im getting SotC release day probly, so dont listen to me, lol.

All games drop in price, we all know that, but I am also like you. I can wait for PoP and Tomb Raider Trilogy to drop, but I have to have ICO/SOTC on release. I loved those games and havent played them or anything like them (since nothing is really like them) in a really long time.

yeah. ps2 had no trophies but i went through SotC beating the game all over again and did the statues under the time limits for all the (interesting butmostly useless) special items, and filled up my fruit and lizards(health n stamina/grip) such a great game I thought.
oh and if your interested in Tomb Raider Trilogy Bestbuy @gamer mag has a $15 off coupon. i know it's already been on sale for 35 , but 25 and i might just get it. i have underworld, so that tiv is 5, then i might get it for 20 and trade it back to amazon/bestbuy in a few weeks, hopefully still locked in/around 16 it's at now. so $4 for a rental? oh my cag
Monster hunter united is 7.99 on amazon for the online code
i might pick this up for my Go, seems like a cool game...hopefully PSN can get running again soon...

According to gamespot, psn wont be up for at least one week from today. But I bought it now because I don't think it will be this price when Psn is back up.

I heard it is a good game, but has a big learning curve that pays off.

"Within a week" means at most one week, not at least one week.

I must have misread by skimming the article. But I might not be to far considering Sony initially said psn would be back in a day or two

I'd imagine that they'll be extended for an additional week depending on when PSN returns. They've not talked about that yet since getting PSN back online is a bigger priority at the moment.
Wow, I just read that the Hacker(s) that hacked PSN have been lurking around in Sony's security since March 3rd. http://streetskaterfu.blogspot.com/
I guess I should have paid closer attention to this. Crap, this is why people shouldn't be dumb like me and use the same password for a lot of accounts. Time to change them all.

The Welcome Back Program for the EU:
Now that certain PSN services have been restored and you’re once again enjoying online gaming, it seems a good time to confirm what is being offered as part of the Welcome Back programme.

Once we restore PlayStation Store, which will be just a little while longer, you will have the opportunity to claim your Welcome Back gifts. Please note that the Welcome Back programme is only available for those countries with access to PlayStation Store*.

All existing PlayStation Network members will be able to access the following from PlayStation Store*:

 • Infamous*
 • Wipeout HD/Fury
 • Ratchet and Clank: Quest for Booty
 • Dead Nation*
For those with PSP accounts, you will also be eligible to download two PSP games from the following list:

- 30 days free PlayStation Plus membership for non PS Plus subscribers*
- Existing PlayStation Plus subscribers will be given 60 days free subscription.
- For existing Music Unlimited subscribers, you will be given 30 days free subscription.
- We are working on a Welcome Back offer in PlayStation Home and will share that when it is confirmed.

I would like to thank all of the developers and publishers involved in this programme for their support in making this happen. We certainly couldn’t have done it without you.

You will be able to access this content once PlayStation Store comes back online and we are doing everything we can to make that happen as soon as possible.

Thank you for your support and keep checking back on the blog for more information.

 1. For eligibility for the welcome back programme consumers must be an account holder on 20 April 2011. Specific details about these offers and eligibility requirements will be posted as the services go live. All existing PSN registrants have 30 days from when the welcome back programme goes live to redeem their content.
 2. For the German market, InFamous and Dead Nation will be replace with Super Stardust HD and Hustle Kings in the selection of PS3 games.
 3. For the German market, Pursuit Force and Killzone Liberation will be replaced with Everybody’s Golf 2 and Buzz Junior Jungle Party in the selection of PSP games. Killzone Liberation will not offer online gameplay functionality.
 4. Access to the 30 days free PS Plus subscription is only available for those countries where PS Plus is offered. You will have access to the PS Plus content planned for May for 30 days. Access to the free games and exclusive features finishes at the end of the 30-day subscription period. Anything you buy with exclusive discounts, dynamic themes and premium avatars are yours to keep forever.
About missed releases for the PS Store:
Q: The PlayStation Store hasn’t updated since April 19th. When can I download digital games that were planned to be released since then?
A: To date, three Tuesday publishes were missed, which included items like Under Siege and the MotorStorm Apocalypse demo. Rest assured that you won’t miss any of this great content. To catch up on the large amount of material, we’ll be publishing to the PlayStation Store multiple times per week once commerce functionality is restored. We will update the PlayStation.Blog with information on timing of the Store restoration, as well as the full list of new content as each publish occurs.

Q: How will PlayStation Plus members be affected by the PSN downtime? A number of games/items were slated to go live or come down on April 26th.
A: We will be picking back up with the PlayStation Plus content calendar where we left off to ensure that you won’t miss out on anything.

Unloaded LBP last week and missed out of the BB 9.99 for inFAMOUS. Get them both for free. For PSP MDR and either KZ or LBP.
