In for Disney Infinity 3.0 for $6 and Lego Marvel Super Heroes for $5.

Also, this is probably a dumb question, but I already own Disney Infinity 3.0, and I want to go digital. Do I need to delete all of my data to do so? Thanks in advance. :)

Tempted to get NFS Rivals and Shadows of Mordor. Couple of questions.

I like action/adventure, but know nothing about LotR. Will I still enjoy it?

For NFS Rivals, is it worth buying the complete bundle pack as well for an extra $10?

Wondering about Shadow of Mordor myself.

Have a huge backlog, but I wanted that game before I even got a PS4.

The GOTY seems like a good deal, but lots of people say it's repetitive?

Not sure how I feel about that. I usually like most games regardless, but don't want something to keep being the same over and over.

if i hated AC, really liked AC2, and got burnt out on the next one [whatever it was called], is it time to give AC:Black Flag a try?

Shadow of Mordor is a solid game.

here's what you're getting -- an open world combat game, though the open world is pretty small overall.   The freerunning/climbing is a bit wonky, but it doesn't get in the way too much.   There are huge forts and other defended areas.

The enemies have a hierarchy of leaders -- these are your 'named' bosses and subbosses.   Much of the game is spent killing these guys off for various reasons.    This is pretty fun -- you can hunt them down when they poke their head up for various reasons.     Combat is a fun version of the basic batman style game we get nowadays [mad max, etc].

The hierarchy will change over time with or without you as the squabble amongst themselves, but you killing one will obviously change things, and if you mess up killing one they get promoted.    Rarely, one you kill will actually survive and become your 'nemesis'.

These subbosses are usually immune to something important [say, bows, or melee] and weak to something else [say, fire, or bows] though by the time you get to the very high level ones they're immune to almost everything, which sounds ridiculous but basically means you're constricted to killing them in a very specific way.

This nemesis system was -really- fun, and if you like assassination missions in games you'll love it as you infiltrate huge forts to kill off baddies.   The enemies look really, really cool and look even cooler if they come back heavily wounded.

there is a 'main game' besides this, with story missions and other stuff, but it's completely unimportant next to the nemesis system.

Definitely worth the sale price imo.  I played it at launch and had an absolute blast, orc warts and all.

I know I played Shadows likely 20-30 hours or so...going through missions and gathering random junk across the map. It does get pretty repetitive, but overall is OK fun. I honestly feel it's like a 6/10, and I tried going back to play it, but it's a bit boring. If it is at your price, wouldn't be a bad purchase. A lot of the DLC seems kind of fluffy honestly, but eh.

anybody play the newest need for speed?
Yes, IMO, it's not very good. At the bottom of the barrel when it comes to racers on :ps4:.

I put 30+ hours into it because I'm not a quitter and wanted the plat lol but stay away from it.

if i hated AC, really liked AC2, and got burnt out on the next one [whatever it was called], is it time to give AC:Black Flag a try?
Yes. It's a beautiful game and with a different direction from the other AC games. It's basically an AC game with a pirate inspired theme. A lot of people consider that one of the best AC games so I say yea go for it.

I've played all the Assassin's Creed games except for Unity (still wrapped, haha) and I have to say, Black Flag is my favorite along with Brotherhood. I enjoyed AC2 as well. That one is probably my third favorite. Black Flag was my first AC game, then I went along and bought the others because I loved AC4 so much.

I may be biased because I've always liked the whole pirate aesthetic and all, but it's great. Never got bored of playing that one. In fact, I kind of want to rebuy it since I played it on the PS3.

I say go for it.

Hard to pass up Omega Quintet for 4 bucks. Would prefer a physical copy, but I won't be picky in this case.
Yeah, my policy on Digital Download over Physical is only if I can get it absurdly cheaper.

Now the question is, are saves on the PS4 tied to downloads like the Vita, or can I transfer them over if I decide to get a physical copy later?

Any thoughts on Dragonball Xenoverse?
You play as a mary sue self insert who travels through time 'fixing' the major battles of the DBZ universe after an evil something-or-other changes them so the wrong person wins.

It is way more fun than it has any right to be, frankly.

It gets a little repetitive, but I didn't start feeling it until 20 hours in - and I was absolutely addicted to the game before that. And after some time away I do want to give Shadow of Mordor a third playthrough, so hopefully that says something. Absolutely worth it at the PSN price imo

I thought the game was pretty great. One of the tops for the year. Platinum is fairly easy, too. Only reason it might be considered repetitive is because there is a pretty large amount of content. Also, I've never actually seen or read any Lord of the Rings books/movies and still really enjoyed the game. I would imagine a fan of LOTR would enjoy it that much more.

Any thoughts on Battlefield 4? I tried Hardline and couldn't get into it (instantly wrecked by level 100+s).
I honestly enjoyed when I played Battlefield 4 with friends. It wasn't too bad and with the huge maps with lots of players you don't have to play perfectly. I feel that likely when Battlefield 1 comes it, whomever is still playing will likely go to that game, as it looks similar, but just another time period. The single player is OK at best, so I would only recommend the game if you're a multiplayer junkie....otherwise just wait for the new one.

You're probably going to have the same experience in BF4 since only the hardcore are still playing it now. The campaign might be worth the $5 but there are some multiplayer trophies that take a good bit of time if you care about that sort of thing.

I think Battlefield 4 is worth $5 just to be a digital tourist.  That game is so impressive in scale in so many different ways.  Ultimately, someone may not find a lot of long term fun, but I think anyone should be relatively impressed with the size and feel of the game both from the level layout, weapons, vehicles, explosions, etc.  It's especially great if you've got good surround sound or a good set of headphones.

Question for anyone that might own it but the version of The Crew that is on sale for $11.99 sometimes comes up as the Crew Wild Run edition and sometimes not. I can refresh my search for The Crew on the mobile store and the title toggles between the Wild Run Edition and the normal edition. I searched it on me PS4 last night and at the time it came up with the Wild Run edition. Problem is that unlike the other Wild Run listings the details on the game don't specifically mention that the Wild Run is included?

I have the physical disk of the original release of the Crew and only want the expansion. $11.99 for the expansion is a price I will consider. It looks like that is a separate item though and it is $24.99 and not on sale.

Can anyone possibly confirm if the $11.99 edition includes the Wild Run? And if so is it the full expansion or a stripped down version? Thx in advance.

I've been debating on BF4 for quite some time now, specially with all the DLC being free. But i got Hardlina and Siege to keep me busy until Battlefield 1. Not to mention my huge backlog...Arkham Knight, Fallout 4, Uncharted 4, ME Trilogy and so on. Need a year break from life lol

Scholar of the First Sin for PS3 is basically a GOTY edition for DS2, as it is the base game + the 3 DLC packs, and works with vanilla DS2 saves (so if you finished a playthrough and sold off the PS3 version you can rebuy this version to play the DLC on your original save). The keys to access the DLC areas are given to you at the start and you can enter them whenever you want, though they are quite tough so it is best to save them for late in your playthrough.

Scholar of the First Sin for PS4 is a remastered and remixed version with better visuals, 60 FPS, and altered item and enemy placements. It fully integrates the DLC into the game by hiding the keys to the DLC areas in chests in the game world.
Thats pretty awesome! I never finished DS2 on the 360. Got sidetracked with other games. This ps4 version sounds like the best version.

Bought!

There are three things Crew related for sale, The Original, Complete and Wild Run Edition.

Original is - $12 just base game, says it if you go look at description on game page even though title is weird.
Wild Run is - $18 base game plus Wild Run; again game description
Complete is - $24 Base Game, Wild Run and Seasons Pass. Beating a drum but all of this info was found in less than five minutes by reading the game descriptions on their pages.

Hope that helps. In the future it is easier if you just go to the sale page and just scroll through the list of games on sale until you find what your looking for. PSN search is bad.

I did not like ac 3, got bored of ac 2, loved black flag. One of the only games i didnt think i would like and loved. Loved the ship combat, it was a really nice break from the regular game and kept it from getting stale

I don't typically use search for that reason and only shared that info because of how the title changes a page refresh. As for your descriptions I saw that and understood that from reading them on the store BUT I am asking if the title or the description is a typo for the $11.99 edition. It would appear that the title is the typo but I am hoping someone who actually owns it can confirm. It would appear that you don't own it to confirm?

The titles are clearly a typo, the $12 is only the original game, when you click on it and go to the page is correctly just says The Crew.

If you want Wild Run it is $18 or $25. It is the stupidness of PSN. You can get the bundle for less than the standalone.

Nothing is ever 100% unless it is validated. Especially when it comes to online store listings (PSN, XBOX, etc). While I appreciate your taking the time to answer my question you can't 100% answer the question any more than I can. We are both making assumptions, you that the title is wrong, me (in a very likely false hope) that the description is wrong. My money is on you being right but again if you don't own it can you really answer the question? I think not.

Did I mess up something?

Nope, it's an issue on the store. You were spot on :)
Problem is actually just the mobile store, sorry I wasn't clear earlier, it is crystal clear on the regular store page.

[attachment=22481:pstore.JPG]

Can't get the right link to work, but it is clear there. Hopefully you can see it when you get to a regular browser or PS4.

So no Frisky you are fine, but on the mobile site for the Regular base game it says, Wild Run Edition, The Crew, whereas clearly it is just the Crew on the full site.

Also all this Crew talk has made more interested in trying it...,

Never read LOTR? OK, I can forgive that. But then you say never seen the films, either?! Are you even a true CAG? *lets be honest, most of us members are hardcore gaming, anime, film, lore, fantasy fans, so it struck me as odd..*

I jest, of course. But seriously, get on that s**t....and while you're at it, do the extended versions. 12 hrs of bliss for a newbie.

Sorry dude I just play games when time permits.

I'm trying to decide what to purchase.

I would easily choose Alien Isolation, except they do not have the bundle/DLC on sale.  This would be my top choice I think, but the season pass seems pricey for a game that has been out almost 2 years.

Dragon Age is very cheap... but then I looked into it and it seems like there is a lot of DLC available for this game.  None of it is on sale, but I did download some of the DLC that was free in the past.  Do you need most of the DLC if you want to make the most out of this game?  If not, which DLC do you need?

It looks like Scholar of the First Sin is the best value here, as it comes with all the DLC.  Also, it seems like this is the best price you can find anywhere for the game.

Help?!

if you don't have it yet and like all the dlc with things just do the same. Bound to get cheap eventually
