Sounds like Mailicious is a shitty game if its supposed to be relatively simple yet people arent told how the controls work or its not easy to figure out.

It pretty much is a shitty game lol. It took me all of a few minutes to decide that my gaming time was better spent on all the other games I actually paid for. A free game has to really hook me in less than 5 minutes for me to spend time on it instead of my backlog.

Any hints on June PS+ yet? Hoping to match Europe's Ico and SOTC, and would love to get sly cooper for vita for free (should have bought it when it was on sale for 13 lol)

Now that I have a 32GB vita card, the sky's the limit!

I also would like ICO/SOTC for North America's PS+ freebie. I have SOTC on PS2 half way done so I all I really want is ICO.
was hoping sony did a Sale on class of heroes 1 to push part 2 but its looking doubtful
not really. they don't generally announce sales during the Blogcast or even Drop post. it's still just as likely (or unlikely) as it was yesterday. Most likely, we won't find out a full list of sale items till Tuesday.

No hints yet. As soon as someone finds out something, you'll know because this thread will blow up.

But at this point, seems like we'll be waiting til Monday to find out.
Sounds like Mailicious is a shitty game if its supposed to be relatively simple yet people arent told how the controls work or its not easy to figure out.
You are told how the controls work, the problem is it's all text and no actual tutorial. Most people don't seem to have the patience to read what's essentially a manual nowadays to figure things out.
was hoping sony did a Sale on class of heroes 1 to push part 2 but its looking doubtful
It's not a Sony game, so it's not their right to decide that stuff.
Sounds like Mailicious is a shitty game if its supposed to be relatively simple yet people arent told how the controls work or its not easy to figure out.
Not really. It's explained fairly well in the manual that is available in the main menu, but the tutorial doesn't go that deep into the controls to explain it that well. It's a fun game once you get the hang of it. Here's my mini-guide from earlier of what the general process is for a successful run:
Definitely look through the manual on the main menu to see what the abilities are and what they do since it's not explained at all in the levels or hub. The second half of the Malicious video shows off a successful run against that boss if you want to see a solid strategy for how to take him down.

You basically want to beat up the scrubs that appear all around the level to build up a lot of mana, or whatever it's called, so you can power yourself up with L1+X fully and start attacking the bosses to inflict damage. When powered up, L1+Square and L1+Triangle do attacks powered with mana, though the boss I fought is best dealt with the ranged attacks and the Square attack in particular because it auto-targets. Triangle lets you sweep a cursor over enemies to send attacks at those targeted like a Rez/Child of Eden type of game, but that fight mostly just requires the Square attack.

Once you run out and if you've done enough damage, the boss, at least the one I faced, will start coming after you so that you have to use your triple jumps and such to dodge his attacks and grind for more mana where you can get it to power up and attack him so more. You basically repeat that until you've beaten them.

If you get hit by the boss and notice that limbs are missing, then press L1+O to repair yourself with some of the mana.

Once he's beaten, you get his ability to be able to use against the next boss you take on. It's not as harsh as a Mega Man game, so you can experiment with which boss to take on next.
I would LOVE the Activision and Atari 2600 collections to be released as PS2 classics on the PSN. That should be easy to do.

I wouldn't mind Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 for the PS3.

Ultimate Board Game Collection sold almost 500K copies in North America alone (likely on a negligible budget): http://www.psu.com/a001683/Ultimate-Board-Game-Collection-headed-to-Europe

That's probably more than a lot of games that hardcore gamers care about. I bet it's more than Enslaved, one of my favorite games of this generation, sold in North America since it sold a total of 750K overall.

The thing to remember as always is that different people care about different things.

Nor do I, also it would be great if we get Injustice Gods Among Us later this year.
Sunday nights?
Yeah, I've never heard of these hints on Sunday nights. They just announce the month's lineup on the first Monday afternoon of the month.
Sunday nights?
He's obviously got an inside source that reveals the hints to him at a shady bar on Sunday night. ;)
You don't think they'll hold back, make a few blog users angry, and announce all at E3? Perhaps they'll announce June and E3 will be a bonus refresh of the rest of the games. Since the Xbox is so big on their online stuff, I think Plus or its form on PS4 will get plenty of coverage because it appears that all game companies have accepted that their online systems will be just as important as hardware in the next generation.
Well there is still a Tuesday before E3 that they'll announce and give us at least one game. But ya, no way they're waiting until E3. I'm pretty sure it's even been confirmed in the PS Blog comments.

There's no reason to wait on announcing all of the PS+ games for June since they have much bigger fish to fry during their press conference. There's only one game coming down this week, so I imagine that the Sony trio will go up around the time of the press conference that they'll mention when talking about PS3.

Here's the comment I was talking about. Someone asked if we'll get a fully monthly update next week or if we have to wait til E3, and the response is that we'll get an update next week. Although I guess he could mean we'll only get a weekly update. Still, I'm with Frisky, I see no reason why the monthly update would have to be delayed because of E3.

It's disappointing that someone didn't announce the games or at least give us hints. I don't expect it to match Europe's lineup for this month.

Maybe someone mentioned this already, but Europe is getting either UC3 or AC3 in the next couple of months according to a Playstation Blog reply. It's safe to assume it'll be one of the three evergreen titles and it might be in the US IGC too.

http://blog.eu.playstation.com/2013...ur-june-update/comment-page-3/#comment-380939
I think this is what will happen.

Plus the only reason Plus was part of the main presentation last year was to establish IGC. Since its already there it could easily be a booth reveal or side announcement.
They would be foolish not to list all the free* games available since last E3. That would be good advertising for a service that they are likely planning on keeping on the PS3 for a while and expanding on the PS4.
Wow, EU is way better at giving hints.
At this point, the two undeniable facts are that 1) EU has their shit together, and 2) they get better games but such is life.
At this point, the two undeniable facts are that 1) EU has their shit together, and 2) they get better games but such is life.
I'd be much more forgiving of #2 if NA+ was better at #1, i.e. communicating to members.
Didn't EU already get their June announcement? Why keep one region back and not the others?
This question seems to come up on monthly, if not weekly, basis. The reason for the difference between the two regions is that EU and US are run by two different teams. Think of it as two divisions of the same company. Their approach to dealing with customers is totally different.

I would download the first one BUT im trying to tell myself DO NOT LET THE VITA BECOME YOUR 3DS i have around 50 Download games on the 3ds (mostly dsiwere crap) that i never played and just wasted already got like 10 games on the vita i need to play download only

No, I mean regarding whether or not we get a full June announcement due to E3. If they had something to hold back on the US side, it seems like EU would be holding back too.

They're not managed by the same people, but the US PS+ team should be much better at communication. People have been asking for earlier announcements for a while now. The earliest we hear about the next months' announcements is on the PS Blogcast, but even that isn't set in stone. I'd even settle for hints, but they tell us almost nothing. They're also not nearly as good at advertising the service. Compare the PS+ information on the US store to the EU store and the difference is quite clear.
Didn't EU already get their June announcement? Why keep one region back and not the others?
Not only have they got their June announcement, they actually got the majority of their June games on Wednesday.

PS3 games this week, Vita games next week. No doubt they're making room for the 3 E3 games coming in the second week of June.
so if they are releasing new games in place of the annual 3, does that mean we will technically get two months worth of games this month?
No one knows, but the speculation is starting to build up expectations that very possibly will lead to disappointment and a bunch of whining.

New jak & daxter HD Collection pic released. Let us pray that this doesn't turn out like Ratchet & Clank. Trailer looked janky as hell, though, so who knows.

I'm playing FFA now on Vita and I am terribly disappointed. Not only does it look like poo, I keep just falling through the floor in the middle of hover booting. Starting to drive me a little crazy.

i doubt we get anything new for the vita until JULY once every 2 months it seems

Jesus, those Jak screens look horrible. Then again, maybe its because its not being "Remade" from the ground up? Most of the HD Collections look a bit janky on console, I noticed that when I started Ratchet 1.

Does anyone know if it has Cross Saves though? If so, I can imagine Trophy Hunters are buying it day 1

Not to change the subject but does anyone know what happend to the Blackest Night and Zombie Mode DLC for Injustice? They were up the other day for $.99. Can't find it anywhere, its not on Xbox live anymore either. Seems strange.

There should be 5 games announced on Monday like we get normally and 3 announced at E3. I don't think it's speculation to assume that because it's basically been confirmed on the EU blog.

I'm pretty sure one of the slots will be taken by the GoW collection which was accidentally marked as free a couple of weeks ago. Hopefully they don't count each game as one slot.
